I love that Wild jersey. I found a retail authentic of it last year on eBay and couldn't be happier. If they take the sleeve stripes from the current home and add them to the hem and get rid of the center stripe you pretty much have both home and road jerseys matching. Maybe use their "State of Hockey" logo for the shoulder patches. Columbus should just switch to the cannon imagery full-time already. Both Rangers 2012 Winter Classic and the Blackhawks 2009 Winter Classic uniforms are among my favorites from this era.
Blue Jackets fan here. I agree the Blue Jackets Third Jersey is awesome. It fits the Blue Jackets' Civil War Theme perfectly. Also Columbus has the Blue Jackets, Ohio State, The Crew, (Soccer) the Clippers, (Minor League Baseball) and Fury (Volleyball) So the Blue Jackets are not the only game in town. CBJ!!!!
I'll beat this drum unit I manifest it - CBJ need to make that their primary. It's my favorite uniform kit in the league. I'd keep that color scheme because it's gorgeous.
Good call on the Caps Winter Classic jersey. My favorite Caps style. The Chicoutimi Sagueneens of the QMJHL have used similar stripes on the shoulders (but with three colors) for years. The CBJ jersey is awesome. They should be using it as their regular jersey. The Wild logo is great.
This has been kind of enlightening for me given how boring the Reebok Era was for my team (both on and off the ice). It is still tough to see nice jerseys with printed shoulder patches though... Oh Reebok.
I agree with your list and don't have a lot to add but I want to engage with what's being created so I think Reebok was amazing for how many patches got introduced. For a jersey collector if you're trying to spice up Habs jerseys an easy way is to add a patch like 100th season or outdoor game.
@@Ramuh. If you can get your hands on those centennial jerseys. It's amazing how undesirable those jerseys were in that moment, then they blew up several years later and go for 3x their value.
