i find when my pod go is connected to my PA i get a really loud hiss noise, particularly on you're Acoustic snapshot. Noise gate help but a real noticeable hiss , any suggestions?. Thank you

Great video! You helped decide which of the Line 6 mods I need. My friend loves his Helix, but I can't justify dropping over 2K, especially with two young kids. I haven’t touched my amps in years, and I have an iRig and a BlueBoard, but they are not giving me the experience I want. With that preamp on are you connecting the pod go to the amp input or the amp return? And from which output are you sending the signal to the amp?

What about saving the factory preset sounds i.e...the man in box setting assigning it to one of the boxes

another great video. But when I downloaded it to the POD go, there was no sound until I moved my volume pedal up and down, then it worked, Maybe something on my end?

Sounds pretty close to me. Just downloaded it from Custom Tone. I Don't have a 335 but experimented with my 50s Vibe Tele and PRS SE on the neck pickups to see how it sounded on a solid body. It sounds amazing on the Tele neck pickup and will be a keeper. Many thanks for this, Josh. 👍

Thanks Josh for another valuable POD Go tutorial! I bought the ToneX Pedal and plan to put it into the POD Go FX Loop. That wouldn't work well (as you demonstrated) if it weren't for the great Pod Go option to set Line or Instrument level on the FX loop in and out! BEST Pod Go content on UA-cam. Thanks Josh!

I've been gigging with the helix effects only, since they came out in 2015. I mainly use a hot rod deville or a hot rod deluxe. I used to take an OCD and a max on. OD Plus. pedal to gigs. one day I forgot to bring my pedals, so I just Dialed in the OCD and the timmy pedal. and to me they sounded better than my analog pedals. So i'm getting older and I bought the fender deluxe tone master blonde.i love it and at 24 pounds My back loves it too. I finally figured out that most of the tone is in your hands. and your feel.

Are you limited to one amp/speaker combination with this setup? Switching amps and cabs based on the tone you're after (clean, dirty, lead) offers more control over the feel and the final sound of this aging digital guitar processor. In my limited understanding, this is where snapshots offer flexibility with different amp and cab combinations, allowing you to dial in your desired sound more precisely. The fact that this box allows user-uploadable cabinet IRs is a significant selling point. I would love to see a major manufacturer like this support NAM captures to extend the life of these older devices! ;) Otherwise, stomp mode is the best way to set up for a gig because of the dynamic control over many sounds. Do you find that combining the Brit J45 Clean amp and 4x12 Brit V30 cab provides a good starting point when using "pedal-based" sounds?

I recently bought a pod go and a sire t7fm .I've also a scarlett 2i4 .So I'ld to do the same connection as your and using the scarlett already connected to my two KRK rokit 5 .Question ; how connect from the back to the pod to the back or the front of the scarlett ? Josh! Great video as usual. I play an old Gibson SG and am looking for a preset (or overdirve) that can mimic Dickey Betts' sound with the Allman Brothers. Maybe something like he (or Dwane Allman) used on their Fillmore East album. You have anything up your sleeve to point me in that direction?

Same here...POD GO is a great value, nice form factor, but drives aren't A-Tier in any way.

Nice preset. Another thing you can try is changing the amp block to a preamp and use it like a drive pedal. I’ve used the Brit2204 preamp this way for a good Marshall in a box type thing.

Great stuff man! Keep it up. Not to be that guy, but the amp and cab use DSP, on or off. Use the bass Del Sol model for the least DSP.

Nice sound, its funny because this is sonic and on internet everyone say that it’s not so good guitar (i have sonic tele and it’s very nice sounding) ;)

Josh, have you tried this? I got a used Electro-Harmonic 44 Magnum went out of Pod Go to 44 mag to 1x12 cab. Turned off the cab sim. Sounds fantastic! I've tried PA speakers, 4 cable, straight in. Couldn't get the tone I felt was right. Plus couldn't really get good tone without turning off the amps in the Go. So I just had a pedal board. I also ran my Spark mini and Katana Go through it and Boom! Very clear and amps sound great!

Good afternoon. I would be very grateful if you could show me how to achieve the green day sound from the dookie album on POD GO. Everything is not as simple as it seems at first glance, there is crunch and se mod made by Martin Golub in the LA design studio. For me, this is some kind of ideal overload, crispy, pleasant.... And for you, I think, it would be an unusual and, I hope, an interesting challenge

The Donner is my rig now and I'm super happy with it considering it's price point etc. So much so, I bought a second one as a back up!!
