Audiphile here. Indeed, it's really hard to discern, but listening on AirPods Pro to me the FR10's output sounds clearer. Also, as you said, the FR10 has a slightly hotter signal, no doubt, which contributes to a more pleasing sound to the ears I would think.
Yeah, the channel strip meter readings in Logic Pro were showing a slightly louder signal from the FR10. Overall, the tone still sounded the same to my ears :)
Good way to test sound for gigs.... Getting them to sound exactly the same though idk . Usually id say the XLR is best because it can send the info better, quicker, to the FOH . I don't hear a difference here. Try it at a larger venue. There may or may not be a latency with pod go without XLR. I bet the XLR is great on the fender being a newer unit
There may be a difference at a venue due to room acoustics. But the core source signal tone from either the PG or FR10 will be the same, accord to this test anyway.
@JoshGordonGuitar it really sounds exactly the same in your room for sure yes it does...great 👍🏻 job btw it's not easy to get a constant volume, EQ, tone, and still sound and feel good under the fingers....Helix has actually done a great job with picking dynamics in recent years with updates btw 💯👍🏻
Thanks for attempting and sharing this.
My pleasure! Thanks for watching :)
Hello, Josh! Can you do a video about the Freeze (Ambient) and/or looper effects on the pod go? I can't seem to figure them out. Thanks.
I've busted added these to my list of videos to make :)
@JoshGordonGuitar You, the man. No one better on UA-cam than you.

Indiscernible in my humble opinion.
Agreed. The signal from the FR10 was showing as a bit louder than the PG, but both sounded the same to my ears.
I hear no difference
I heard no sonic difference either. But the track meters in Logic Pro were certainly showing a louder signal coming direct from the FR10.
