I wish they’d dived into the first one a little more. There’s a lot of weird stuff in that post. Does this happen very often, or is it recent, or is it literally one time? You guys are off on the 3rd one. The poster comes off as an asshole, but if she's worried about putting her kids through college and her sister's kids went to ivy leagues, theres a HUGE difference in equity between the grandkids on each side. The grandparents should (hopefully) be willing to help their grandkids go to college and not be saddled with student debt, not to even things out between the sisters, but because they love their grandkids and want to support their education. Then after that, split stuff evenly between the sisters.

I have no sympathy for the last post tbh. She doesn’t even say she’s struggling. She’s gotten help when she needs it, like a down payment for her house.
