That’s why it refers to the butterfly effect, which says that the flap of a butterfly’s wings in Brazil can set off a tornado in Texas. Why? Simple. The butterfly flaps its wings, creating a small air current, and because of the specific weather conditions, that tiny breeze travels to Mexico, expands, strengthens, and ultimately creates a flow of clouds and winds that leads to a tornado in Texas. In the experiment with Dr. Sattler, he essentially explains this. If you notice, he mentions that the water droplet changed. You’d think it would always go in the same direction because that seems logical, but due to “small variations in initial conditions,” like skin imperfections or blood circulation, the outcome is affected. That’s essentially unpredictability. This is also why the doctor doesn’t agree with what John Hammond is doing. Genetic power, as it plays out in the movie, represents a chaotic system. The park is the system, and the variables being studied are the dinosaurs, the staff, and their interactions within this “phase space” (as he mentions in the helicopter scene) we call the park. And even if they do everything possible to keep them contained, there are so many factors that it’s impossible to predict what will happen. The disruptive factor in the system we call Jurassic Park was Dennis Nedry a small variable whose single unplanned action altered the entire course of events in time and space (phase space) and led to disaster, which was Jurassic Park. That’s how the movie demonstrates that chaos theory is present, not just in the story but also in our everyday lives. As a side note: in the helicopter scene, no, he’s not just trying to seduce her... Well, yes, he is, but what he’s really referring to is how chaos theory is based on the study of nonlinear equations and strange attractors. The concept of an attractor, in the context of dynamic systems, means a set of numerical values toward which a system tends to evolve, given a wide range of initial conditions. It’s not about physical attraction between men and women. Chaos theory essentially deals with the study of unpredictable behaviors because there are so many variables to consider that it’s impossible to foresee what will happen. That’s what’s meant by behavior in phase space a series of elements evolving within a defined space and time.

Watching this shit in the cinema when I was 9 years old in 1997 was one of the STUPIDEST ideas I've ever had. I had nightmares for several nights. I bitterly regretted going to see this movie, because watching Titanic in the cinema is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT experience than watching it on TV, cell phone or something.

The Predator was the protagonist of the movie, is Jungle Hunter's honorable Death. This is why the opening scene is his mothership dropping Jungle Hunter to Earth. The Yautja(Predators) have a Death cult warrior-hunter culture that is all about "honor", this is why they hunt dangerous prey like Dutch and his team and claim their skulls as thropies. The way he rips Billy's spine and skull off, was because he acknowledged him as worthy for challenging him alone. This is also why he drops his shoulder plasma-caster and bio-mask to go mano a mano with Dutch, and laughs while using the wrist-comp self destruct to erase all evidence and technology of his race. Dying to worthy prey is seen as the greatest honor, specially if no trace of Predator activity is left behind.

Haley Joel Osment has been acting since the age of 4. I recommend a movie from 1996 that he did when he was very young called "Bogus." It's about a little boy who has an imaginary friend named Bogus, who is played by French actor Gérard Depardieu. It also stars Whoopi Goldberg. 😊
