Does having your Six Sigma Black Belt play a factor?
Hi, I’m Zekinat. A product/project manager. I currently work in the financial , real estate and e-commerce industry. I have over 5 years experience in this. Looking into specializing in the health industry at the long term. Looking to take my certificate examination this year. One key lesson I have learnt from this journey is to make sure you communicate and do so effectively so you have your expected outcome.
It sux being a PM sometimes. Honestly most of the time. Feels like dodgeball. I like your idea of writing down 3 goals a day. Two of mine will be getting cleaned up and in nice dress clothes bc I feel better than wearing loungewear. 😂
Hi All, I was a AM/GM for thirteen years in the restaurant industry. After listening to your definition of project management it helped me to realize that I have already developed some of the skills to be a project manager. I was tasked to go to a low-performing store and restructure the day to day from the ground up. This required me to hire, fire and promote. I identified the reasons why the store had been unsuccessful in sales and customer satisfaction and addressed those issues immediately. Within six months, I had a whole new staff, new processes in place and was able to become one of the busiest stores within my district all while providing quality and efficiency. I am excited to learn more about project management and how to take skills I have already obtained and what's to come to start a new journey as a professional project manager. Thank you.
great video, but please you might want to invest in a good quality mic

I organised an health outreach in school to help reach out to communities I mobilised other health care professionals such as doctors, pharmacists and nurses Over 500 people attended the event and it was well organised that everyone was attended to Please is this a project?

Hi! I am Joanna, currently working as a Healthcare Assistant here in the UAE but I have a 7 year experience in Administration in Facility Management and Healthcare industry at my home country which is the Philippines. I'm looking for an opportunity to switch back to Administration and I believe that Project Management is one of the skills that has developed in me during my experiences as an Admin Officer. One of the projects I have handled recently was launching an event for the medical center I worked for, in celebration for Philippine Independence day. I worked also as coordinator between our management and Philippine Nurses Organization. The goal was to promote our Filipino Doctors in our facility and to attract more Filipinos to visit our center. I had all the planning, and time schedules in place, as well as the materials needed for the said event.
After the launch of a particular Space Vehicle, I wrote the documentation for and coordinated over 15 different engineering groups and their associated technicians in a damage and debris investigation. The overall process took roughly 2 years to complete, leading to a restructured risk analysis to govern future launches, procedural updates, and a dedicated FOD committee.

Hi my name is Lucia have a Healthcare and Hospitality background I'm looking for a new path hence I'm here. I have no experience in this though so I want to learn and get in
Hi, I also have a hospitality background as I was a manager in the restaurant manager for over a decade and then transitioned to health insurance. Based off what the professor said I believe you have more experience than you think just don't know how to present it. I would definitely take the time to create a "brag sheet." List any and all accomplishments that you have done within those fields i.e. improving sales, creating documentation, assisting others on projects, etc and then learn how to quantify it (put a monetary value behind it, or a timeline or percentage of success) Can't wait to chat more!

Hi. Im in the education industry and a recent project i worked on was the creation of a new tardy policy. My school had a problem with students loitering in the halls after the tardy bell. Admin had been doing random hall sweeps that were not effective bc of the manpower required to do them often. I revamped the policy and created a tardy room. The new policy includes a grace period b4 hall sweeps. This resulted in fewer students being caught in sweeps. This policy also included consequences which the original policy lacked. In the end both teachers and admin are pleased with the reduction in tardies and hall walkers in general.
It sounds like you did a great job!
Thank you! I am here 🙋🏾♀️
Welcome!
