Welcome to my channel: Orchid House.
My purpose is to share my experiences on how I grow various types of orchids. I grow all my orchids outdoors year-round in a sub-tropical climate. So no cold or cool growing orchids here!
Besides the usual suspects that I grow (Cattleya, Dendrobiums, Phalaenopsis, Oncidiums, Vandas), my "obsessions" are Catasetums, Stanhopeas, Gongoras and Trichocentrums (which are part of the Oncidium alliance). I also recently discovered Aerangis and fell in love too but I struggle to grow them well.
I am sharing my own experiences but if you do something different and it works for you, continue doing what you do. Orchid growing is not an exact science by any means. Also, you have to adjust to your own growing conditions: growing indoors e.g. is a very different environment! ENJOY YOUR ORCHIDS!
