What a beautiful orchid. So jealous . Florida is great for growing so many orchids. Not so much in Minnesota. Two years ago I owned one and fell in love with the scent.

So you water your mounts each day. Do you give the fertilizer each day as well? You stated that you feed weekly/weakly. Do you fertilize just once and then the other days do you water with ro water? Thank you.

I fertilize those mounted Cattleyas only ONCE a week. That is plenty and some that are semi-dormant over the winter, I pause the fertilizing during that time

I love this orchid!!! Contacted Ben at Orchid-eros to buy one - he told me that he sold them all to SpringWater Orchid in Melbourne. He had one! Thought someone else might be interested as well. Love this plant! Is it mounted on fern - couldn’t tell?

It should. Noon sun is always a bit dangerous as the sun is the highest in the sky. Where do you live?
