Not only do we not have free will, but neither does God have free will. If God is omniscient, then he's known from eternity past everything he would ever do and everything he would not ever do. So he is not free to do anything other than what he has always known he would do. Hence, God is not free.

Under the hypothesis of indifference, there is no reason to expect any particular degree of hiddenness, let alone one that aligns with fostering moral, alethic, and aesthetic goods. Furthermore, it is no more likely under naturalism that we would perceive a world appearing to contain an omnipotent, benevolent being (a lack of divine hiddenness) than we would encounter divine hiddenness itself. The presence or absence of such appearances would be entirely random under naturalism, uncorrelated with human flourishing or truth-seeking.
