My list: 1) Gengar 2) Rayquaza 3) Blaziken 4) Metagross 5) Gardevoir 6) Gyarados 7) Salamence 8) Cloyster 9) Swampert 10) Lucario Gengar will always be my favorite pokemon for the same reasons you outlined. And Rayquaza is easily my favorite Dragon type just like you. Metagross is the best Steel type and his shiny sprite is AMAZING! And Gardevoir is beautiful and loyal. Great combination.

Picking torchic? It's not a bad pokemon, but it pales in comparison to mudkip. Especially when they are fully evolved.

You should NEVER buy items from the auction you can just buy elsewhere because the price is always way more at the auction than at a store. Premier balls are a great investment at the auction, or balls like the love ball or heavy balls are ok too, but never luxury balls.

meditite isn't available in granite cave?? i never encountered it in emerald, but i was so convinced it was a granite cave encounter in either ruby or sapphire (the version exclusive counterpart to makuhita) has my brain lied to me?? and kecleon can be found in the wild? i never once encountered one and i've played gen 3 over a dozen times

QOTD: I would be a water gym leader. I would want Swampert to be my ace, but since he's a starter I'm not sure if I could, so my backup ace would be Gyrados. A kingdra would also be on my team, along with a Starmie, a Tentacruel, a Quagsire, and a Vaporeon if I can't use a starter.

I haven't played this game from the beginning in over a year, and I forgot how much hand holding and useless stuff happens in the beginning. It's ridiculous.

I forgot how long this into was. I don't know for sure, but I think it's the longest in the series so far. It definitely is if you don't count the first rival battle and the first mandatory battle against Lachoink.

As a libra I've used 3 of those pokemon. But I haven't ever used an orciorio, nor have I ever used a hitmontop. And actually, the very first time I ever tried to level up 3 tyrouges to get all 3 hitmons, I got the hitmontop first without even knowing how to get each. But I didn't use it. And I only used chestnaut once, when I found a shiny one.

As much as I love that line i think the Abra line should also be replaced - there are way too many similarities between them and the Ralts line which comes earlier. I think replacing them with the Gastly line (in Dewford cave + Mt Pyre) would be good so that Phoebe has another Ghost-type.

I am here to point out that "Bell Tower" and "Tin Tower" are written the exact same way in Japanese; it is actually meant to be BOTH at the same time, but it doesn't translate to English.

I somehow missed this video. If I had the disagree with anything in this video, it would be your thoughts on gen 6 Maulville. I thought what gen 6 did with it were over all pretty neat. I did miss gambling, but beating up chumps before my food was ready was a nice consolation. Cheers!

I went to Oldale Town IRL. It is called Saga City and most Japanese people will tell you that Saga city has nothing going for it. I went there and went to a Mall and to Kura Sushi. But I mostly used it as a base to visit many sites like Yoshinogari Park and Yutoku Inari Shrine. I went to Petalburg City as well, and it is beautiful called Karatsu and it is quite nice.

Personally, I hated having to redecorate the safari zone in HG in order to find specific pokemon.

The cliffs added in gen 4 were amazing

I think for the repair for the gym leaders and Elite Four, I think there should have been a ground type user, seeing as how Land vs Sea is a major theme, and there's a water type gym leader/champion.
