I’m just a guy that loves working with his hands. A builder/remodeler by day but also I love to play with our off-road Jeeps on the side. From bending metal to setting tile its my life and I love it. I hate the term “Jack of all Trades” because that term typically means your not an expert in some trades but rather mediocre in most of your work. Some of us want to push ourselves to understand other lines of work. I will take on nearly anything if it interests me so follow along as everyday is a new adventure.

Using Makita’s 40v Auger for the first time
Переглядів 3742 місяці тому
We had a lot of holes to drill or auger as one would say. We needed to set quite a few 4x6 treated post so Harley said why aren’t we using the Makita 40v Auger (GGD01). Wow, we were really surprised at how fast this tool worked and why we hadn’t been using it sooner.

Handyman or Contractor…which one is more skilled
Переглядів 1 тис.5 місяців тому
We were repairing some soffit on one of our clients house and while I was working the thought came to me who’s more qualified. What defines a handyman versus’s a contractor? I don’t know but as I’m rebuilding these soffits I’ll try to figure it out.

We are rebuilding our lean to that attaches to our shed. Maximizing the space was an absolute requirement when rebuilding so that everything fit perfect. While working we got into a discussion over past clients that made crazy comments. So here a couple stories are.

Переглядів 1,7 тис.6 місяців тому
We purchased two new router flush trim router bits and we wanted to see how they compared to the Bosch bit. The new router bits are manufactured by WhiteSide and YONICO. Their both 1/4” upswept double bearing bits. We used a Makita 40v 1/4” router as our test bed and we we’re really surprised by the results. The wood was 5/8 plywood. Do you guys have another UA-cam channel with the older Jeep TJ builds from years ago ? If ' yes ' what is the link to it ...thanks
When looking for installation drivers ..for complete results just google "Drilldo"
I have the 12v one, a really nice sander with great dust collection, but on a 3ah battery it loses power in like 5 minutes. I bought some 6ah batteries and it's a game changer nows it has lots of power and great automony.
I think I like the task light more but they’re both nice
Great idea you are giving me guys, many tnx! Keep up the good work
😊
Great! But which cuts thinner in the middle of the porcelain tile?
Noticed US version has 1 miter gauge slot, EU etc version has 2 miter gauge slots... Why?... I imported the US version from Amazon to Kenya.
The most fun I had when I was much younger was when I would go hunting in my 1942 Ford military with stock everything, including 600x16 tires. So many times in the winter, especially during Elk season, I would take the too off, put my rifle in the vertical holder with a tin can over the muzzle when snowing and go play around all the guys with big tire and big power at the bottom of a hill putting their chains on. I usually just went around them without chains, stopped at the top of the hill and waved, laughed and moved on.
Cars have wheels and doors so did every company copy each other?

The lanyard light is great! Trust me! I have know idea what the guy is even trying to say ! Usually u use the lights fir some time than make a review. I'm Confused! 🤡
It’s been almost a year since making the video and Ill stick by my opinion that their both great lights. I like a couple other brands better than the DeWALT for the lanyard style but the flash light is awesome in my opinion though.
It's great for punch out repairs...
Regarding 14:15, the cylindrical protuberance on the side of that claw bar is called the "Dimpler", because it is used to form a crater around a nail head that is sitting flush to the surface.

Pure genius! My arbors have been stuck for years. Not anymore! Thanks!
The isolator tucks into the hyperlink with the 'round' edge facing out and the chiseled edge facing in, such that it won't rotate or flop around. I've got one and it's worth it to keep things clean and quiet.
I have the Irwin. It jammed with the lift in the highest position first time I used it. Can't lower it with the precision release or the speed release. I can't find any manual or other source on line that mentions this problem or suggests fixes. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Got the dewalt just cause I don’t use it as much as my other tools. If I had the funds I’d get Milwaukee dewalt just better price and easier to get.
The son looks like his dad forced him to do this most of the video, lol.
I got the Bosch version and recently the bearing spoiled, can’t find replacement in my area so I have grab a new one
Hinge restricter clips are better and no holes in cabinets. A silicone bumber is great too!
Yeah you got something good there!
I have the Milwaukee but I'm hearing that the Ryobi is the real beast. Crazy right? I plan to get one and compare.
But then it's 18 volt and bulkier
Have to agree the Milwaukee could be better. The switch I do like most don’t, with the other switches I always hit the button and going the wrong way.
In my experience Bosh , DeWalt and Makita tools are reliable. Milwaukee has let me down more.
Nice video, Informative. Dude is Funnnny!!
Nice tool
Thanks!
Anything that spins this fast is going to hog alot of power under load, I dont think these can really replace the air ones for heavy duty use either but they sure are handy when you have to bring the tool with you or just need something quick done and cant/wont bring a compressor with you. I had no idea Bosch made one though, thats cool!
For most jobs this will be adequate plus it has a bunch of power but definitely wouldn’t get rid of the air one yet 😀
@@campbellbuilt Oh for sure, I use one like this all the time. But if you needed to strip paint from an entire car for instance, I probably would save the strain on the battery and motor by using air instead haha
Amazing at displaceing the dust from a place an moving it all over the place in a room.
The only thing I wish dewalt should do is make an extension dust cover so it can pick up more dust and debris and make it wet and dry
did you notice a difference in performance with the cooling system?
That trigger and grip looks very comfortable. I have the Milwaukee m12 and it’s a battery hog as well.
Maybe one day we get some nuclear powered battery’s for these tools 😀
Bosch >
Excellent work!
I have a 1998 Honda Civic I have power stop on the front and it really does make a difference for me personally
What is the name of the plate with the degree markings on it and can it be ordered if faded?
Excelent. Is dcd130 able to make a hole with this auger? Does dcd130 do this job at all?
Interesting info for DCl182 : 3 lights mode High : 1000 lumens : 3.5h max Medium : 500 lumens : 8h max Low : 250 lumens : 12h max Once plugged : can only light On at the low setting ! Once plugged you never know when its full ( light stay red ) Can not be use as power source to charge your phone ( only In port no ''Out'' port . No real way to check how much battery left (like KLEIN one) .
Is a sway bar thingy even gonna make a difference if I drive just on the road? I'm kinda new to jeeps, and just cars in general 😅
no. it's for offroading at extreme angles.
Stock sway bar is all you need for that.
Dude, i gotta know, did Rubi ever hook you up with them buckets?
No 🫤😀🤬
What model is that?
Knit picking😊
The way you did I it, you might as well paint it white. Terribly done
Yang?
The DOWELMAX! It's Not Just For Your Furniture!!!😎😎😎
great information, subd up for sure
Absolute legend. So easy. Thanks!
Excellent video guys!
