I mean the real reason is that the technology they had at the time didn’t allow for these crazy fast aggressive fights to be filmed. If you wanna justify it within canon, then it would probably be because he’s disfigured and has much worse range of motion
What I think he gets very wrong is that the incredibly overdone choreography doesn’t make fights look more ferocious it just makes them look very very choreographed
@@d4vidyoNot really, except for Yoda. When Yoda was on screen you knew where most of the budget went: no unnecessary movements, a simple choreography and CGI that can give today’s movies a run for their money. And Anakin vs. Obi-Wan is the other good fight of the prequels.

Prequels had the best lightsaber fights. I will die by this statement.

I agree. It doesn't even look like they are fighting. It looks more like a dance or something. I prefer the fights between Luke and Vader.

All of the sword fights suck. They keep turning their back to the enemy with useless spin moves
They also have inhumane reflexes because of the force. So the choreography makes sense, especially when you factor in force reserves
