Keep up the great work Matt. Having done a similar job on my X5 and Range Rover Sport I found it more cost efective in time and effort to take a recipricating saw (sawzall) to it and cut the bolts on the control arm and replace it with a complete new aftermarket arm. There are lots of videos on youtube of people struggling for hours trying to get the bushes out and others just cutting the bolts out and replacing the complete arm in no time. I suppose it's all down to cost in the end.
Thanks Stephen, in this case it was cheaper to change a bush than the complete rear axle. Like you say, if it was a control arm I would just replace the arm too. Cheers Matt
Got this job to do very soon, is that kit your use one of them universal kits from eBay, do remember what cup sizes you used, would be great help for me. Thanks
Hello, I keep hearing a knocking noise when taking a turn with my car, I checked if it's something in the trunk or something but it isn't. Do you think it may be a bushing?

Nice and detailed. I've got this coming in a few days for both sides and this will probably save a lot of time.
Thanks for watching
Top tip freeze your new bushes overnight then when you come to insert will slide in like a hand in a glove 👍
Thanks, I was wondering if this was a good idea or would the rubber expansion negate the benefit of the metal contracting
Great work matt, You made that look too easy 😂

@@rsw600 it is a universal bush tool, unfortunately I don't remember the sizes of the cups that I used on this car.
