You don’t even know the half of it there’s a five-year-old that literally has to cook dinner clean do laundry because the mom won’t do nothing some of them don’t even go to school and they have to wash their parents if you know what I’m saying with a sponge

I find it ironic that many of them have suffered abuse as children - essentially being robbed of their childhood - which has been a contributing factor of their eating/weight issues. Yet - they're responsible for robbing their own children of their childhood by forcing the kids to care for them.

As someone who was in a similar position as a kid, they don’t care or at least care enough to do anything. They were called to my house a few times and nothing came of it. The funny thing is, that most therapists do not treat food issues as a real addiction. I have had problems for years and all I get is referrals to dietitians and nutritionists. That and I am just weak and undisciplined according to most therapists I have dealt with.

Drugs alcohol and nicotein all have a chemical addiction on the brain and body causing DTS seizures heart failure etc without treatment. Food does not. It's a personal choice to glutton. You can pig out on healthy foods all day and not gain. You don't go through chemical changes in the brain and body causing DTS seizures etc by eating healthier. It's not an illness it's a choice.

However people can’t make excuses for themselves and they have to finally accept that this is my fault I got in this mess and I can get myself out. One of the most disgusting aspects is people who are so heavy is that they allow their children to become so overweight. From beginning to end of Pauline's jouney her son's weight ballooned, his hair grew longer and greasier, and he obviously took care of her instead of attending school. What kind of parent does that? And James took his 15-year-old out of school to help clean up his messes in bed.
