RIP Ennio Morricone. You'll notice Metallica is using a part of this before they go on stage (for almost 40 years now) p.s. I can't unsee a face (eyes and a mouth) on your pillow..
Actually, this video contains "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" AND "The Ecstasy of Gold", both by Ennio Morricone. Metallica only uses "ecstasy of Gold" in their concerts.
Actually, Tuco had a rope around his neck several times during the movie. Remember the sequence where Blondie would turn Tuco in for the reward, and then shoot Tuco's rope at the hanging, and they would split the reward later? Tuco also had Blondie with a rope around his neck at one point. And poor Shorty got hung, though he probably deserved it. The hangman's rope was a common prop in this movie. BTW, if you have not seen it, make plans for a movie night and watch it. The cinematography is fantastic, the music is beautiful, the story is all kinds of things, it is certainly one of the best movies ever made. You are not doing yourself any favors by missing out. It is a work of art.
BTW, there are actually two pieces of music combined together here, the theme itself followed by "The Ecstasy Of Gold", which is the perfect music for running through a graveyard. Both are beautiful. Try doing a reaction to the whole movie, if you think you can handle it.
That’s not the only reason. That Orchestra always has that hanging skeleton in that hall. It’s a morbid mascot/good luck charm. It’s based on a legend of a former Conductor, why hung himself, over 100 years ago. Creepy AF!!!

My Dad made me go to everyone of these westerns that came out. There was no DVD’s or anything. You had to go to the movies. I was around 12 yrs old. RIP Dad😢
The Danish National Symphony Orchestra incorporated artwork from the movie poster for the film. In the "Wild West", and in "Old Mexico", there was a lot of lawlessness and anarchy. Lynchings, regardless of race, were fairly common at that time in the 19th Century.
Fascinating! I have often heard this theme music before from the movie” the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly” but I never appreciated before how complex the music was and what was making the various sounds and effects. It can make one listen to movie theme music more carefully and appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into it. Wow! Thank you for sharing this one.
They have made a lot of movie music. The YT Channel is called "DR Koncerthuset". The Orchestra was "born" on the 28th of October 1925!.......... So next year is the 100th birthday and knowing DR (I am a Dane), they won't waste a good celebration. Maybe something big is coming, who knows? Keep an eye on their homepage.
"Wait: is that a man hanging there?" Yes, it is. Explanation: see the film - I don't wanna spoil it for you! (you've probably seen it by now, so an explanation would be moot) As a Generation X-er, it's nice to see that some of you kids these days, not only appreciate a great film, but also a great composer. Ennio Morricone, sadly, passed away this past July, but one of the last westerns he did music for, was "The Hateful Eight". His music makes many a film.
It's my favorite movie of all time and I was born in '00. I love westerns and those old kung fu flicks, they give me the perfect cinema experience in front of a fireplace with pop corn.
The "suspended" figure represents the silhouette of "The man with no name." The main antagonist of the three films starring Clint Eastwood. He's not hanging with a noose. Rather the silhouette is an homage to the films orchestrated by the great Ennio Morricone.
Ok, a few things... 1. The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly is a *GREAT* movie. Watch it. The soundtrack was composed by Ennio Morricone who just recently died. He was THE MAN. 2. Metallica has a cover of The Ecstasy of Gold, which was the second part of the song that you said put you to sleep and woke you back up. Check it out. 3. Nas and Immortal Technique have both samples The Ecstasy of Gold. Check out Nas’ “One Mic” and IT’s “Land of the Gun.” Both of those tunes will make you want to walk through walls. Brilliant reaction, my guy.
Perfect,I freakin love the orchestra parts of the Movies, especially when you watch it being played, this a long time coming for me,prop's to whoever suggested it, and your reaction, dam!!! most sound effects are done by orchestra's!!!
I loved it in Blazing Saddles when the cowboys were riding along on their horses and suddenly came upon the actual orchestra playing out there in the countryside.
The previous conductor - they said to him: "You see, in this world, there's two kind of people, my friend - those with real musical talent and those who don't swing. Now you get to swing.."
Everybody else just found this! You were a pioneer because you found this months ago! I think I've just watched it half a dozen times, and I've just now noticed that the soprano lady at the end just popped up out of the audience and started singing. She wasn't sitting with the choir or anything. That's just badass. Do you think the people sitting around her knew ahead of time? Or do you think they were shocked when she just stood up and started singing?
This entire performance of Ennio Morricone's music from all four movies is awesome. This was number 3, "A Fistful of Dollars" "For a few Dollars More" and "Once Upon a Time in the West" are the other three, they're all excellent. The hanging man is Tuco ...wanted in counties of this state...the condemned is found guilty of the crimes of murder, armed robbery... of citizens, state banks, and post offices...the theft of sacred objects, arson in a state prison...perjury, bigamy, deserting his wife and children...inciting prostitution, kidnapping, extortion...receiving stolen goods, selling stolen goods...passing counterfeit money, and contrary to the laws of this state...the condemned is guilty of using... Therefore, according to the powers vested in us...we sentence the accused here before us...Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez...known as the "Rat"...and any other aliases he might have...to hang by the neck until dead. May God have mercy on his soul. Proceed!
Yeah, the late Ennio Morricone really WAS a dope composer, and this was one of his finest works. Watch the movie, and then you'll understand the props.
They were called the spaghetti westerns, partially because they were filmed in Spain, music composed by an Italian, Ennio Morricone, and because they were based on existential philosophy, from the Continental side of the divide. 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly', 'Hang 'Em High', and 'A Fist Full of Dollars'! A Threesome!
The lady who sang "wah wah", her name is tuva semmingson, a classically trained singer in her own right, she sings everything from opera to standards to pop. A diva of the 1st class. If you look closely, for this concert she was wearing little six shooter earrings. PERFECT!!! Yes, there is also a hanging dummy ... if you watch the movie, you'll get the connection. I watched an interview with the two vocalists.Tuva Semmingsen AKA the Wa Wa Lady, as she has been called by the tube, actually likes being called the Wa Wa Lady. She couldn't believe how this performance took off on the tube. Christine Nonbo Andersen is the solo vocalist in the audience. This was her first performance with the Danish National Orchestra. Both ladies nailed their performances and added a stunning element to this Ennio Morricone masterpiece. Ennio Morricone was a composer of film soundtracks, where he used instruments and objects that are not normally used in an orchestral ensemble. Electric guitars, basses, ocarinas, bongos ... but also whips, gunshots, gusts of wind. Entering Morricone's work is a complete immersion. A moving tribute for fidelity down to the smallest details is what the Spaghetti Werstern Orchestra did to him. This is the theme song of the movie with the same title and of course, made Clint Eastwood ... Clint Eastwood.
If like this one listen to Once upon a time in the west, by Patrica Janeckova (Miss Reneta 2012) All your hair will stand up. You might even get misty eyes ☺️
This orchestra also performed the themes from the first two movies which are also iconic as fuck.. check em out. Fistful of Dollars & For A Few Dollars More.

Symphony.......oh my......when symphonies start playing again....go see one. It’s like nothing else. Btw, love Cedar Point! 🎼🎶😎 end of the movie reference with the hanging. The movie is awesome as well. Check out Fender Game of Thrones.....it’s all guitarists with the composer himself. Tom Morello from RATM, among others. If you never saw Game of Thrones, watch the opening, the orchestra version is amazing.
I watched "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" many times with my Father...in the late 60's and 70's. I was a kid, and the music made me cry, it was so beautiful. I'm old now, and its even more beautiful...and I think of Dad and I watching all those Clint Eastwood Speghetti Westerns. I'm glad you liked it, but listen and watch again without the video...And watch the movie if you haven't. It's the absolute classic of all classics.
Soundtracks for the Clint Eastwood movie, THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY, A CIVIL WAR WESTERN. The hanging man is in the final iconic scene of the movie. I could not find it on Netflicks, but it is on Prime Video, Prime Video for free. Worth watching if you have never seen it, or even if you have. Hanging in the old west was the most common method of execution for any crime punishable by death. And there were lynchings mostly in isolated areas for horse thieves and cattle rustlers. These had nothing to do with the racial lynchings, these were a form of frontier justice in a lawless land.
you will like these two guys. 2CELLOS - Benedictus (by Karl Jenkins) [LIVE at Arena Zagreb]. they are amazing how they can play so beautifuly hit all the right notes
Dude, if you liked this...You need to listen to the tracks on the Metallica S&M album. Metallica plays their greatest hits alongside a full symphony orchestra. It's mind blowing!
You NEED to watch the movie "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" to understand where they got the idea to place the cut out of the man with a noose around his neck. It happens toward the end of the movie during the graveyard scene. YES!!!! The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly!!!! Clint Eastwood is AWESOME!!!
love your reaction. please, let's all bow for a moment in front of the skill and genius of Maestro Ennio Morricone who wrote this music and dozens of other unforgettable masterpieces. P.s.: and the hanging man is nothing more than a mannequin that the director of the show decided to place on the stage as a tribute to the finale of the film from which this excerpt from the soundtrack comes.

I could watch your reaction to this masterpiece on a loop !!!! 😷👍
In the movie Client Eastwood s character would save a wanted man from hanging several times and split the reward money with him !!! Great movie !!!
This genuinely may be my favorite reaction video of yours!
THE TRILOGY IS AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE
you have to respect the sheer effort, 75 plus musicians with maybe 20 to 30 years practice behind them, thats over 2000 man years of human experience right there
The hanging man is Tuco
...wanted in counties of this state...the condemned is found guilty of the crimes of murder, armed robbery...
of citizens, state banks, and post offices...the theft of sacred objects, arson in a state prison...perjury, bigamy, deserting his wife and children...inciting prostitution, kidnapping, extortion...receiving stolen goods, selling stolen goods...passing counterfeit money, and contrary to the laws of this state...the condemned is guilty of using...
Therefore, according to the powers vested in us...we sentence the accused here before us...Tuco Benedicto Pacifico Juan Maria Ramirez...known as the "Rat"...and any other aliases he might have...to hang by the neck until dead.
May God have mercy on his soul. Proceed!
Tuco is the ugly.
Nicely done.
where the rifle sounds
wonder how much he worth now
Awesome reaction! Amazing content. Not just anyone would watch this. Thank you
Yeah, the late Ennio Morricone really WAS a dope composer, and this was one of his finest works. Watch the movie, and then you'll understand the props.
"Hang em High"- the name of the song. You can also see the Clint Eastwood character.
It is fairly uncommon for an orchestra to have a noose section, but for this I think it works.
Tuva Semmingsen (the wah lady in red) is a fantastic singer
They were called the spaghetti westerns, partially because they were filmed in Spain, music composed by an Italian, Ennio Morricone, and because they were based on existential philosophy, from the Continental side of the divide. 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly', 'Hang 'Em High', and 'A Fist Full of Dollars'! A Threesome!
They were called the spaghetti westerns because they were Italian westerns , westerns made by Italians !
Anne Reidy, the three movies in the trilogy were; A Fistful of Dollars; For a Few Dollars More; and, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
Truly an amazing film! Love Henry Fonda as the bad guy.
My favorite western and a fantastic soundtrack.
You SHOULD get misty eyes
Every time that lovely soprano hits those high notes my toes literally and definitely curl up. Oh my heavens she is so beautiful.
Spaghetti Westerns have some of the best music.
Man I swear you lighting up at the start of this song went PERFECTLY 👌🏾😂
Dude, your pillow is staring at me. Freakin me out.
Wow, now im impressed. Somebody is feeding you with best request! This is epic. Blondie riding into the desert...
This orchestra also performed the themes from the first two movies which are also iconic as fuck.. check em out. Fistful of Dollars & For A Few Dollars More.
You felt this song. Thank you so much. Awesome reaction
Clint Eastwood
The Good The Bad And The Ugly is my favorite movie of all time. I HIGHLY recommend it. LOVE your channel! You brighten my day,. Keep doing what you’re doing. PEACE!
Glad you did this, a classic soundtrack done by talented musicians..👍🏼
The Gorillaz use part of this in their song "Clint Eastwood".
Great reaction....saw this for the first time today, made my day!
Who knew that Charlie Brown's Teacher, The Wa Wa Lady would find such a better gig?
Lol😂
THEY DID A GREAT NOB!!! Great Western and glad to see someone else makes faces... LOL - YOU ARE HILARIOUS!
You really need to watch the movie appreciate it. Clint was one bad ass cowboy/outlaw.
Henry Rollins has this song you may have heard of: Liar.
It's a good one.
The hanging is to represent the new conductor, they hung the last one
You're Brilliant. I got your gear now and I'm about to wash it and proudly wear it.
Western movie prop from "Hang em' High" movie. Lots of caucasian people were hung in the old west. Angry mobs do angry things.
THIS is the emotional ride you were looking for...You needed this.
you will like these two guys. 2CELLOS - Benedictus (by Karl Jenkins) [LIVE at Arena Zagreb]. they are amazing how they can play so beautifuly hit all the right notes
ua-cam.com/video/ibwxzxER_pY/v-deo.html
Creative. The Instruments and musicians and singers are amazing.
Hey blondie.
love your reaction. please, let's all bow for a moment in front of the skill and genius of Maestro Ennio Morricone who wrote this music and dozens of other unforgettable masterpieces. P.s.: and the hanging man is nothing more than a mannequin that the director of the show decided to place on the stage as a tribute to the finale of the film from which this excerpt from the soundtrack comes.
Metallica does this too my man... Look up Metallica "Ecstasy of Gold"
Hell yes Cedar Point. I go every year. Im only 2 hours from it just outside of Detroit. Love your reactions my dude
One of my favorite Clint Eastwood spaghetti western film. The Good, Bad and the Ugly!!! A must watch!!!
I saw this movie in 1967 with my Dad at Christmas time, thanks for sharing this video reaction ...
