This is brilliant. I've watched this 100 + times over the last 2 years. It never gets old and I'm blown away everytime. It's like watching for the first time over and over again. The amount of talent in that room is off the charts. As usual, you gave us another wonderful, heartfelt reaction. Thx👍💪🎸🎷🎺🎤🎶🎵
One of the reasons I love this is that it shows that there is no need for flashing lights or scantily clad dancers & billows of smoke to capture & thrill the audience.
I could tell after the first 15 seconds of music that your mind was blown! Greatest movie score everr!! Your facial expressions show the emotions of the music and how it has taken you somewhere else! Muse
One of the best reactions I've ever seen to this video. The only thing I can imagine that would be better, is if you also recorded another reaction video with your grandpa watching it too.
I love your reactions. They are so honest and heartfelt. To see young people discovering new musical genres is delightful. Adored your reaction to Luciano Pavarotti,
I always hope young people will see this and realize the symphony isn't always "classical music", and will take their kids to the symphony to see some of the amazing productions like this.
The lady who sang "wah wah", her name is tuva semmingson, a classically trained singer in her own right, she sings everything from opera to standards to pop. A diva of the 1st class. If you look closely, for this concert she was wearing little six shooter earrings. PERFECT!!! Yes, there is also a hanging dummy ... if you watch the movie, you'll get the connection. I watched an interview with the two vocalists.Tuva Semmingsen AKA the Wa Wa Lady, as she has been called by the tube, actually likes being called the Wa Wa Lady. She couldn't believe how this performance took off on the tube. Christine Nonbo Andersen is the solo vocalist in the audience. This was her first performance with the Danish National Orchestra. Both ladies nailed their performances and added a stunning element to this Ennio Morricone masterpiece. Ennio Morricone was a composer of film soundtracks, where he used instruments and objects that are not normally used in an orchestral ensemble. Electric guitars, basses, ocarinas, bongos ... but also whips, gunshots, gusts of wind. Entering Morricone's work is a complete immersion. A moving tribute for fidelity down to the smallest details is what the Spaghetti Werstern Orchestra did to him. This is the theme song of the movie with the same title and of course, made Clint Eastwood ... Clint Eastwood.
The Danish National Symphony is great. I grew up watching all the spaghetti westerns with Clint Eastwood. I absolutely love all the theme songs from them. I have the "Hugo Montenegro" version doing all the theme songs (A Fistful Of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More & The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, Hang 'Em High) on record & on cd. It is one of my favorite albums.
@Dagmar S. I also have the Hugo Montenegro vinyl, which, truth be told, was an album that I didn't appreciate properly 50 years ago. I'm just a slow learner, I guess. But your comment enabled a fresh listen, and I'm grateful to you.
I have had the honor to watch and hear the Maestro Ennio Morricone (R.I.P.) perform and direct his orchestra twice here in The Netherlands. One word: divine!
I've played this many times and I have the same reaction every time. If you have seen the film you will understand even more how fantastic this is. The best soundtrack ever. And the best version.
I'm so glad you got to react to this! Ennio Morricone, the composer was a genius and totally captured the feel of the great (in my opinion!) Clint Eastwood 'spaghetti western' movies. He was Absolutely amazing!
Great reaction. You paused it at the perfect time, between the two tunes, the first one is The Good The Bad and The Ugly, the second one is Ecstasy Of Gold both from the film The Good The Bad and The Ugly. Ecstasy Of Gold is my all-time favourite piece of music in any category or genre, and I'm HOG.
Watch t he scene in the movie with the music and you will be even more blown away. I can close my eyes and SEE the movie in my head just by hearing the music.
Another great song to react to dear James! So happy to see you feeling better, and reacting more each day now! You are my favorite song reactor! You really get into each song and you are so good at showing your emotions too! Congrats! Anazing!
So glad to see the look of joy on your face watching this. All these musicians are fantastic including the “Waa Waa Lady” and the blond Viking looking lady in the nosebleed seats. Nice touch the cardboard guy hanging from the ceiling which has to do with the plot of the movie, one of my favorite movies btw!
Such depth, so much talent, so sorrowful , makes me want to cry. Well I actually did. You should see the movie, which has all the splendid music in it. Brings back so many ememories As I was 8 yrs old when I hear my mother playing this in the car. The orginal song is just the same very awsome and makes you feel so much inside.
Absolutely loved your reaction to this - you felt every movement. It's one of my favourite pieces by the best composer of the modern era - its beauty brings me to tears.
I went to high school in the early 80s. You are right, that was true music then .. keep up the great reactions. You have a gift for knowing and appreciating great music. .....your friend always. May God bless you always, James Zrenjad Desjardins.
Hi James, I sent you a personal story about this song, it scared the heck out of my cousin brothers and I. We were like 12 and younger, I'm the oldest.
The YT reactions that I appreciate are those that provide technical explanations. The YT reactions that I treasure are those that are heartfelt and move their listeners. Congratulations and thanks for your outstanding and heartfelt reaction. I will watch this video again and again, because I treasure it. Reactions like this make it easier to get up and face each and every day. So thanks for that as well.
Thanks, James! I grew up hearing my dad play this music; I can sing along with the entire album. Dad had the vinyl record, the Hugh Montenegro version. Truly some of the most beautiful, and poignant, music I've ever heard.
I still enjoy it every time I get to know you. Now that we are in September, it will be fun to do the September issue of Earth wind & fire, you will really love it.
i cant believe you reacted to this, well done, i like your diversity, i am sure i am the only one with this on a little ipod shuffle, just as much about the memories as it is the music
Shortly before Ennio Morricone died, he gave a Concert in Copenhagen, with an Orchestra. I could have wished for him to hear this with a full Orchestra!!!
If possible, you should have your grand pop on so we might see his smile. If it's anything like what was on your face the whole time, it would great to see. If you've seen "The Godfather", this orchestra did a bang up job on that, too!
I know I am a month late to the party here but I salute you young man for the breath of your desire to hear and deeply feel/understand the music you hear. God Bless You!
Did you notice that the lady who sang the wah wahs was wearing earrings shaped like a gun? Also hanging man near the beginning of the performance. I never tire of watching and listening to this.
Look up the good the bad and the ugly by Erasure its Fab, they did it at the concert I was at for the recording in August 1992 at the Apollo Manchester UK the whole Concert is brilliant xx
This orchestra is SO cool. They do other popular tunes just as amazingly as this one. Try their performances of James Bond 007 Theme - Dr No, The Star Wars Imperial March and their rendition of The Fifth Element's Diva Dance. Oh and Blade Runner - Rachel's Song is amazing.
The "Wah Wah" lady is Tuva Semmingsen, a world famous mezzo-soprano.
"If you don't feel this, you don't have a soul." Perfectly said.
The first lady is Tuva Semmingsen. Also a world class singer, though a Norwegian 😁!!!
Ennio Morricone was a genius. This is my favorite soundtrack of all time
Tuva Semmingsen & Christine Nonbo Anderson both rock ! 👌
This performance is a masterpiece.
Watching the wonder in your face, while magic unfolded was such a joy to my heart, bro - love from Denmark!
When the blonde angel sings, I got the chills, goosebumps, and my eyes teared up. I think that's how angels sing in Heaven.
I have to agree... Christine lights up my spirit when she sings. What a beautiful voice!
Just wonderful ❤
Love listening to you because you don't keep interrupting
The look on your face listening to that was amazing...listen to The Flower Duet....by Delibes....you'll love it 😀
I was fortunate enough to see this performed in Copenhagen by the DNSO, best live performance I have ever seen. Great reaction.
it must have been a fantastic concert , I'm Danish, unfortunately I haven't heard them live yet, but I hope it will be possible one day
Excellent reaction!
Your reaction was so great thanks a lot for that
This is brilliant. I've watched this 100 + times over the last 2 years. It never gets old and I'm blown away everytime. It's like watching for the first time over and over again. The amount of talent in that room is off the charts.
As usual, you gave us another wonderful, heartfelt reaction. Thx👍💪🎸🎷🎺🎤🎶🎵
The joy in your face is priceless ,
Great reaction dude !
This is why I love your channel: the look of joy on your face matches the feelings inside me when I listen to this remarkable music and performance.
One of the reasons I love this is that it shows that there is no need for flashing lights or scantily clad dancers & billows of smoke to capture & thrill the audience.
Thanks for the reaction. It is one of the best pieces of music I ever heard.
I could tell after the first 15 seconds of music that your mind was blown! Greatest movie score everr!!

Damn I LOVE to see the joy in the eyes of the people listening that one for the first time 😂
the singer doing the waa waa's and whistles has her own videos..she's a great singer.
Yes, she's a great singer.
She is also wearing guns as earrings.
And she has fans: ua-cam.com/video/4T59bOlnmA0/v-deo.htmlsi=bWSwW-CkuOoCJgUY
Professional musicians and professional singers...it doesnt get any better
One of the best reactions I've ever seen to this video. The only thing I can imagine that would be better, is if you also recorded another reaction video with your grandpa watching it too.
I agree it was amazing- the women’s voices sounded like instruments that were an integral part of the orchestra with this music 🥰👍🏿🇦🇺
I love your reactions. They are so honest and heartfelt. To see young people discovering new musical genres is delightful. Adored your reaction to Luciano Pavarotti,
That is why I like Classical music, an orchestra going full tilt.
Grazie grande maestro Ennio Morricone🇮🇹
When you’re ready to cry over music, someone has touched your soul.
What a glorious soprano!
I always hope young people will see this and realize the symphony isn't always "classical music", and will take their kids to the symphony to see some of the amazing productions like this.
Your face said it all, I'd love to see your grandmothers reaction.

May be the best music score ever written.
I have had the honor to watch and hear the Maestro Ennio Morricone (R.I.P.) perform and direct his orchestra twice here in The Netherlands. One word: divine!
The best reaction to this song and I've seen a couple dozens of reactions. Great job. I can tell you really feel the music.
I've played this many times and I have the same reaction every time. If you have seen the film you will understand even more how fantastic this is. The best soundtrack ever. And the best version.

I enjoy watching all the different instruments and hearing their sounds. Amazing.
The hours and intent are enough, time well spent for music lovers:)
Fantastic and a brilliant reaction
This *is* awesome. I've only watched it about 500 times. If you like this dramatic orchestra music, you should watch them do HALO!!! It's online, too.

The lady doing the wah, wah's is being accompanied by a harmonica player hitting the same notes in sync with her. That is how that sound is made
