the "figure it out for yourself and tell me" 4th wall break was clever because you have to play all 3 storylines to understand it AND be a fan of DBZ. 16 was Gero's son as we know, who was killed by Goku in DBZ when he was on the red ribbon army ship that Goku used his first kamehame wave on. Gero swore revenge and built androids for revenge. He made 16 a pure android with the likeness of his on. From there we have to do some guess work from the game. 21 is clearly 16's mum and Gero's wife. 16 refused to kill Goku and instead fought Cell so im assuming he ""betrayed 21" to show her that she doesnt have to follow her programming. However sadly she is obsessed with eating strong fighters like Majiin Buu and 16 was trying to "save her" by feeding her clones instead of the real ones. However she got hungrier and hungrier and had him killed (Friezer stroyline) for being a traitor. For non die hard fans, it opens up the sequel idea with the chance for a different interpretation to be made.

No. Gero's son was killed in a gunfire. Gero made it clear that he hates Goku for destroying the army, and the addition lore reveals that his son is loyaled to the army's cause, that's why Gero hold the army in high regard out of respect for his dead son.
Get back to my own body hell no why would I want to be human when I can do crazy feats with Goku's body!?

It's interesting that in the beginning, when the soul (player avatar) is force into Goku body and 16 attacks, that the soul was able to trigger Super Sayian. Because the soul is said to have low fighting skill, and it is a different person body all together. So for the soul to figure out the trigger is interesting, you can also say that because Goku can go SS1-3 and SSB his body had reactive naturally to the 16 attack.

@@OneTrueWindfall I guess the format was inspired by Fate/stay night, since it has 3 story route and each newer route is needed to understand different sides of the conflict.

Not exactly, Zamasu did a body swap so that goku would be in zamasu's body. In this situation they're both sharing one body.

@@roberthunt6973No, in both cases, both in the manga and in the anime, they clearly showed that Zamasu, with the help of the universal balls, changed his body, looking for one, and I note that they swapped the body!!!! Goku started to look like Zamasu And Zamasu began to look like Goku, then this Zamasu took and finished off Goku who was in Zamasu’s body

Originally, yeah. But then he came to realize the beauty of the world, and teamed up with the Z fighters to destroy Cell.
@@General_C Gero actually programmed him to be gentle to resemble his son. It never clear but he may have been sealed because his gentle would hindered with his objective to kill Goku and Gero didn't want to remove that aspect of him.

Would be interesting if there was a Vegeta or Yamcha story mode. Vegeta because he’d be pissed off, and Yamcha because it would both be interesting to see a story depend on him, and for Yamcha to discover more of his own potential

honestly i think goku and vegetta NEEDS to talk it out.. i mean REALLY talk it out. meet in the middle as you would say. vegetas arrogance hinders him and goku's carefree atitude gets him into trouble. when they both can learn from eachother they will make alot less mistakes.
