16:28 Hack #6: Topical Minoxidil For Eyebrow/Beard Growth
I use minoxidil for my eyebrows. I just dip a cotton swab in the bottle and give each brow a swipe before bed. It's working. Cost effective as well.
Rogaine or another brand?
@Frogg-tz3cx i use the generic walmart brand. Been using on my eyebrows for years and it works great.
@@cassafrasslee9840 does it actually help grow eyebrow hairs? I lost more than half of my eyebrows as i get older. the latisse type serums do not work for new eyebrow hair growth. thanks!
@@Frogg-tz3cxdon’t bother with the women’s formula. Pink tax is stupid. I use whatever brand is on sale, extra strength.
@@wendyschnapa7582I’ve been doing it for about 2 months with extra strength minoxidil and I see a difference, especially in the ends of the brows on the outer corner.
Maxfield: "What are you drinking?"
Shah: "Ugghhh a wellness shot"
Maxfield: "Well you don't look well"
Lmao 🤣🤣
Could you talk about the use of castor oil? I have seen this all over the internet and am curious.
I love this set up!
I have to say, I have one of those pillow cubes. Instantly the best sleep I've ever had. It fills that space between your head and shoulders. If you are a side sleeper, it's fantastic.
The beauty pillow is sooooo expensive though!! Is there a less expensive option?
As a side sleeper, you feel like it’s comfortable? I’m scared of getting one and staying up all night if it’s uncomfortable 😅
I've had the same pillow for a few months now and it still wakes me up in the middle of the night. It's not the most comfortable thing if you don't have a lot of neck space lol. I don't know how to explain it. I'm keeping it just because it cost a fortune but definitely try it and return it if you're not happy. It won't get better and it's not worth keeping it past the 30 days.
I am a 100% side sleeper and I have never had one day of discomfort. From the first night. But you can always return it I'm sure if it doesn't work for you. For me it was wonderful.
Is it washable? Because I love my Tony Little DeStress Micropedic Pillow, for the same reason. It keeps my had and neck aligned, but it isn't washable.
Thank You Doctors!!!!💫🌿🌞
Well my favorite Doc’s are making skin care routine simple & saving me money.
Great information, one of your best 👍🙌💯🤗
I bought your skin product. Waiting on it, can’t wait
Love you two, thanks for a great video!🥰
Thank you. This is a wonderful new format.
Great video with good information!!
My fav is the Laneige lip sleeping mask. Amazing! I've been using it for about 4 years now every night. At 65 my lips are full and smooth.
I just put my facial moisturiser over my lips, and likewise argan oil afterward
You just need Vaseline or olive oil. Works better than anything else. Thanks Dr Dray!!!
@@mamafike9763 olive oil can be drying as per Dr Dray.
but i agree in heavy balms, i use,Elizabeth Arden 8 hours balm on lips (NOT their lips balm) or Bepanthen nuppy rush ointment as a night mask and it works miracle
I just got my Remedy for Dry Lips a couple days ago, just as I was getting the first nasty head cold I've had in years--perfect timing! Two miserable nights of mouth-breathing, but no cracked lips!
Ah I’m glad you love it!!
I like a silk or a satin weave cotton pillowcase. It is kinder on my skin. That’s my best sleep tip.
So happy I watched this video. I was considering getting one of those pillows. You just saved me a couple hundred bucks!
The pillow kind of sucks, I wish I had seen this beforehand. It's not that comfortable and when I wake up my body hurts more frequently than it did previously.
@@brbsnortingcatnipI 100% agree! My quality of sleep has gone downhill
@@brbsnortingcatnip I ended up with neck pain and a month long migraine from that darned pillow. Don’t get it!
I got one from Amazon that's probably different than the one they are talking about. It is worth its weight in gold. I no longer have the deep wrinkles I was developing around my eyes from being a side sleeper. Plus it's super comfortable.
I just started exercising and swimming more regularly and would love to see a video on specific skincare for those environments. Everything is indoors, but I find the combination of sweat, chlorine, and water so drying for my skin. Also wondering your views on the sauna for the skin. 😊
Oooo yes! I would love this.
Just started watching and off the bat, I want the recipe for that wellness shot!! 😀
Thank you for this very informative video. You answered some questions I had been wondering about. Awesome video!❤
Thank You, so much for your videos and the skin care resource on your site.
I love the old format better. To see you both is fab.
This is just our podcast format that we shoot every week on our other channel. We’ll be back to our regular format as usual
Silk pillow cases!!! ❤❤❤
Sure, if you sleep on your back. The rest of us end up with greasy looking pillowcases after one night from skincare… 😬 Looks gross, so I washed and donated mine. $$ down the drain
Please, make a video about skincare around eyes.... is a separate moisturizing cream a necessity? Separate cleansers and exfoliants? Should we use separate retinol and vitamin c serum? Targeted sunscreen? Thank you💪💪
+1 to this question. Also, can we use the dark spot remedy under eyes ?
Exfoliate? Around your eyes?? Please no, the skin there is much thinner😢
They already have
@@velmad3894 no, it's not like that, when you have milia prone skin you have to exfoliate every now and then🤔🤔
@@chelsearose37 when?
Could you guys do a video on the benefits of spearmint tea for acne
Most lip glosses have HA in them these days. Get a clear gloss with HA and save your serum for your usual skincare routine.
Video on pigmented/dark outer lips please
I invested in an anti-wrinkle pillow. I was skeptical because they were expensive, but I bought one with 40% off during black Friday last year. For me personally, there was a huge improvement with morning puffiness and under-eye bags. I used to wake up with a swollen face since I am a side sleeper and it took me usually an hour each morning to get my face back to normal. Since I started using this pillow I never ever experienced morning puffiness. Also, I used to form creasing between my nose and my cheek which was progressing into a visible wrinkle over time, since I started using this pillow the creasing is just not happening anymore. I do not know if these pillows work to prevent crow's feet, forehead lines, etc. but for me, the huge difference was with the morning puffiness, under-eye bags, and the creasing around the nose and mouth.
Same for me. I was developing permanent wrinkles around my ocular bone from side sleeping and they have disappeared from using one of those special pillows. Best skin care product I've ever purchased.
I got one too as I was squishing my face which was making my smile lines super deep...since using it my smile lines are non existent
Can I ask which pillow you have?
Surprisingly, I do enjoy that pillow with those special indentations, same with my cat! She finds the small hole in the pillow comfortable. I think the silk pillow cases is more comfortable for the skin. Thank you for the video from myself and my 🐈⬛ 😊
Beauty of Joseon cleansing balm is so good!! You guys gotta try it ⭐️
Have very dry lips. Remedy is so moisturizing
Ty for your videos ❤
Please talk about Nulastin. I'm bombarded with ads about this product to regrow eyebrows. Does it really work?
I have the cube pillow. Its great for my neck ans sholder issues.
You both are GORGEOUS! Your wives are lucky. 😍😍😍
My favorite doctors🎉❤❤❤
same @Doctorly 🤗🩷👐🏼🧴
Slugging changed everything for me. Now I use the CeraVe cream on my lips (it has hyaluronic acid too), let it dry a bit and then put Vaseline on top, then go to sleep.
I do this in the daytime too.
totally changed my lips to the better. I used to have the most crusty lips ever before this.
I do this too!! ❤
Same! Serious game changer!
Please do a video on lash serum/eyebrow serums for growth and which workes
Hi I love your videos I was wondering what would help with armpit dermatitis?
what are your thoughts on dry brushing? especially for exfoliating the body as well as the lips.
Lmao, 4:41 not the finest choice of words 😂
I was wondering if i was the only one that was 😮
Agree - it doesn’t mean what he thinks it does.
Should we tell him😂😂😂😂😂
The cube pillow is great for side sleepers because it fills in that gap of your neck and relieves pressure off your shoulder
Can you please do a review on volufiline for hollow eyes? 😊 It's a bit on the expensive side so I wanna understand the science behind it.
I am ordering the lip balm right now sounds amazing! I wish it had SPF though.
Would love to hear your thoughts on Microblading eyebrows and if it damages the collegen surrounding the brows. Just something I've seen circulating on social media but have no reputable source to add to that. Love your content! x
Y’all are my Favorite 😍 ❤
Dr Maxfield- you should get a Chilly Pad for your bed. They’re great for people with PTSD but it’s a mattress pad that pumps distilled water thru it in channels and you can set it to whatever temp you want from like 50°-95°F. It’s lovely. Chilisleep has rebranded to Sleepme, and the Chilipad we tested is now called the Cube Sleep System. The product itself has not changed.
Eyebrow video!!!!! Yes!
I use a doughnut pillow for my cartllage ear piercings ❤
I heard rosemary oil could be good to help grow eyebrows as well
A prostaglandin eye drop for Glaucoma can have systemic side effects too. Some of us have had severe irregular and fast heartbeats.
Hi Dr @Docterly please suggest me a remedy for Lichen Amyloidosis ..and please let me know any proven treatments for this ?
Hey Dr. we caught that personal trainer! Lol you go guy
What are your thoughts on We Love Eyes Tea Tree Eyelid Foaming Cleanser for eyelids and face? I have a lot of allergens here in S Mississippi.
Will the eyebrow growth fall out after discontinuing Rogaine/Latisse use? Or not because it’s not hormonal? I didn’t catch that part! Please do an updated eyebrow growth/maintenance video, doctors! We love y’all!❤️
Per my dermatologist, if you stop using minoxidil the results stop - because the environment that caused hair loss is still there once the drug goes away. The only permanent change is a hair transplant.
@@leapintothewild thank you!
@@leapintothewildmost ppl after hair transplant continue using minoxidil
Can’t do double cleanse too much for my dry, sensitive skin!
I use Lumigan for glaucoma (latisse) and it turned my brown eyes green!!! Not happy. I liked having brown eyes. It also discolored the skin around my eyes.
Does Remedy skin care ship to Canada? Would love to try 😊
I double cleanse about 2-3 a week, first using my Bioderma sébium gel moussant every day in the morning and night, and let’s say Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays I also use Bioderma’s gel gommant which is granulated and helps me remove everything.
Please talk about broken capillaries and how to deal with them remove them. Causes. I have Sleep apnea and stopped using the CPAP and I sleep fine but I was thinking the straps contributed but it’s gotten worse after months of not using it. So not sure if that’s coincidental or if stopping the use is part of the cause. Or if using a beard trimmer blade is causing trauma. I want help with this problem. People talk about it but I want to know the best way to deal with it.
Also please talk about insurance and dermatology. Skin problems can be seen as cosmetics and have limitations as to what insurance will cover. Or is that a myth? Discuss! Please thank you!❤
You might want to see a dermatologist and get a couple Lazer treatments. Probably 2 to 3 hundred per treatment but I had 2 sessions and no more capillaries on my nose or face.
I’m going to say as a side sleeper I have noticed fine lines exactly placed how my face smushed together when I sleep. I have pretty good skin and the sun never created any problems for my skin personally. I have always taken good care of my skin as well. For me personally it’s definitely from sleeping on my side. When I use medical tape underneath my eyes where it smushes together I don’t have the fine lines the next morning. When I sleep without the tape I do have the fine lines. I am really trying to sleep on my back these days but I’m here to tell you it’s difficult at times 😞 I will continue to try to train myself because when I use the tape it is too strong and has left micro sized broken capillaries underneath 1 eye which I am getting laser to improve. 😒 it always seems like trading one thing off for another. I was also told by a plastic surgeon you can use the tape rather than the frownies. Little did I know that it could potentially cause broken capillaries. If you do this use an oil like baby oil to remove tape before removing alone. For me though personally the medical tape is still too strong.
whats a good moisturizer for lips??
Thank you for talking about pressure on the ear when sleeping. No one ever talks about it. I got shingles in 2022 and it was on the left side of my face. It went from the corner of my mouth, up the side of my face and touched the corner of my eye and got to my ear but not in it. Anyway, ever since my left ear has become way more sensitive then it ever was. And sleeping on my left side is the only way I can sleep. I have yet to find a pillow that doesn't cause uncomfortable pressure on my ear. Now I have one to try. Thank you very much for mentioning the doughnut pillow for people with ear issues!
I actually use memory foam neck pillow to help support my neck for sleep. Ajust accordingly. I hope this helps
Why does your neck need support? And did you notice any thing else using this neck pillow?
Does sleeping on your back prevent wrinkles on the face?
I use 100% Shea butter on my lips
Hi! Great video! I have a question about dandruff shampoo hack. Can i use it for a fungal toenail?
Choride or waterperoxide 3 % everyday.
😊
Go through the comments. One poster said she used it on 2 fungal infected finger nails and it worked for her. Maybe ask her which shampoo she used.
Can you talk about Blue Nevus?
I would like to know more about Remedy please. I just purchased
Yes to an eyebrow video please!!!
I really want a Purple brand pillow. ❤
Hey, please can you do something on castor oil for skin, eyebrows and lashes
Instead of a mattress that’s cooling I would invest in a bed jet. I can’t sleep without it. Basically it’s a little ac unit that shoots cool air under your blankets. You can also set up a biorhythmic schedule to help you sleep and wake up easy. Saves you so much money on your AC bill. Also love the heating part too during the winter.
“Raw Dog hyaluronic acid on your lips” 😳😂
😂😂😂
I used 1 particular lip mask in about 1.5 months and the top of my lips on the rim, is plumped for sure. It looks like I got lip injection on the top rim of my lips. I thought I used the lip mask too much cause I applied it 3 to 4 times a day! So, now, I have puffy top edge ( cupids bow area ). So the Hyaluronic acid in the lip mask and how much I used it in a short period of time, definitely made my top lip area look like I recently got fillers.
What anti dandruff shampoo you recommend for face ?
My Maybelline Lifter Gloss Has Hyaluronic Acid And I've Been Using It As My Lip Balm Before Bed. After A Few Nights Of Using it everyday, I started noticing the edge of my lips would be drier than usual and almost the feeling of a cold sore.
Can you have one video about copper peptides?
What are your thoughts on pillows that help with neck bumps?
I have a huge hump on my way neck turns out I need neck surgery to fix it 😢
I use ketocornazole as a mask on my forehead (a few times per week). I use minoxidil on my botched eyebrows (it has helped a little bit, but they're still growing in all different kinds of directions), and I have recently started to lip slug.
When it comes to pillows.. I have a normal pillow, but I want to buy a colder pillow.
I love these guys! Personally, I use organic castor oil for my lips and eye brows!!
Pls, make a video about darkness around mouth.
What's your view on oral hyaluronic acid
I love my anti-wrinkle pillow - it is another step to long term slow-age for me. I really noticed one of my wrinkle around the eye disappear because it was a typical sleep wrinkle. also my face is less puffy, since my head lays higher.
Would you treat the skin of young children differently? I always apply sunscreen on my kids but it’s a pain to actually use oils / balms to wash their face… is micellar water enough?
How about the glycolic acid on the lips before a zinc based cream
Anti-dandrum shampoo containing ketaconazole helped with my acne issues, especially on my forehead. Note: I did not apply the shampoo on my entire face, just on my forehead whenever I washed my hair with that shampoo, which is once a week (but I do wash my hair daily, just with water).
are there any legit alternatives for eyelashes? i'm worried about prostaglandin side effects, but my eye lash game is weak! would really love a vid on that
Can you please review Isdin Acniben Repair line? Specifically their leave-on gentle cleanser and moisturizer. Thank you for all the videos 🫶🏼 very informative content
isdin usually have fragrance in their skincare. exception i found it Avena moisturiser body size bottle
Thanks for your pillow opinions. I thought I should get one, but they look pretty uncomfortable to me!
I bought a pillow to help with neck and shoulder pain. (Side sleeper). The Sutera pillow is the only thing I will use now. I now can even sleep on my back, which I have never been able to do. Bought one for my 88yo mom, and she also really likes it. I also use a silk pillowcase.
Can you please make a video about what products to use for dark knuckles? I'm a teenager and i have this problem and don't know what to do so please make a video about this topic 🙁
castor oil for double cleansing ?? I love that stuff.
Have to be careful because those of us with eczema can react to castor seed oil and it's in so many lip color and lip care products. It makes all of the skin on my lips peel. Had to toss dozens of lip products. Once I eliminated it, based on something the Doctors here said, my lips healed almost overnight.
That's why I take the ginger/tumeric/tart cherry capsule😆
I love your chanel but I wish you guys would cover more than just beauty dermatology issues. Things like diabetic skin conditions, lupus skin conditions, alopecia, etc.
Happy Cappy is a great zinc face wash!
Peppermint oil in the lip gloss. Works like a charm
Great content, I heard about Tretinion for the first time from you guys and I started using it since last year and it cleared my acne perfectly well.
But I started breaking out heavily again specifically on my jawline and chin, I didn't stop my tret treatment and I didn't change my routine, I am so confuse as to what Happened.
Is this normal or I should stop my routine?
Have you heard of slugging with diaper rash cream? What are your thoughts on that?
Hydrating mists, good or bad?
What are your thoughts on micro blading the eyebrows?
I LOVE MY SLEEP AND GLOW PILLOW!! It actually makes me sleep more on my back but if I want to turn to my side my face is not all scrunched up lol
Yes I agree I have one too and this makes my sleep more comfortable and my face is not puffy in the morning
I did have tinea versicolor on my face, with characteristic patches of skin discoloration. I'm using Ketoconazole as a mask every day and it's really helping. I found that trick after so much research, reading all I could find after I identified what exactly was causing the discoloration. Doctors were not helping, discarding the condition as melasma. Since I suffer from bouts of itching and flaking on my scalp due to that dreaded Malassezia furfur, I already had the shampoo on hand.
Hello Drs I have a question. Can I use vitmain C serum 10 by skinceuticals with vichy 89 probiotic serum in the morning? I hope to hear from you. Thank you in advance.
