    Very cool. Loving the layout. Can't wait to see more. The sides with the bends to match the cabs body lines is what really brings it all together. Can't wait to hear more about those details. Is see other posts on here that are interested in that as well. Thanks for keeping your 29k fans in the loop!

    Thank you for taking the time that you do in explaining all of this and sharing your knowledge of it. Some people don't realize that this is several thousand dollars worth of knowledge that people can use instead of paying several times correcting expensive mistakes. Have you ever tried running a Traeger or other pellet grill off of your machine while working?

    Looks good, I like the taillights centered like that. And I like the 45° Hoosier pole instead of a 90° fitting like everyone else does. I did my pole the same way on my skid. But not a fan of how tall the side boxes are.

      bowtac16 it is a arm that swings out to hold your Leeds and cords away from your wheels when pipe lining. Typically used on mainline. Straight large runs of pipe line.

  • @caseyg413
    @caseyg413 5 років тому +2

    Looks slick. I wouldn’t bother with paint or a liner. It’s easier to work off em without it. If you end up doing some fab work, it can be nice to tack a jig to the bed and cut it back off without worry.

    That's going to be one bad ass looking bed, I'm jealous! Where do you buy your steel at? Do you get it in 20ft sections? Thanks for putting these videos up man, they're a great learning tool for guys like me. Keep it up, and be blessed!

    Only problem I would see would be the vibrations between the upper bed and lower bed, I could be wrong but I think it would drive me insane. But I'm deffinatly stealing the oxygen bottle rack design🤗🤗 stay safe sir

    You gonna paint or line x the bed?

  • @joshuariewestahl8086
    @joshuariewestahl8086 5 років тому +1

    I think paint is another level of stress trying to keep it nice. I have to tell people all the time to stop setting tools on the lids of my new rig. It is hard enough to keep the cab paint nice.

    • @wadewittman8510
      @wadewittman8510 5 років тому

      Hey Josh, would you recommend a bed liner paint instead of automotive paint?

    • @joshuariewestahl8086
      @joshuariewestahl8086 5 років тому +1

      Wade Wittman bed liner is defiantly tougher. But I’m going to use paint if I redo the bed on the new truck. Maybe just get the box lids bed lined. They take a lot of abuse.

    Should check out www.steel-it.com another option of good paint that will hold up to stuff dragging across the bed and what not.

    • @JacobSchofield

      You need to rewatch the video. It clearly says two oxygen and two Acetylene

    • @caseyg413
      @caseyg413 5 років тому +1

      Acetylene bottles have to be upright or acetone will leak out of them when you open the bottle valve. The rack was for his oxygen.
