    I agree with you cooking on the stove top is wonderful. I live in Southern California, this time of year is very very hot. Therefore, in the summer. I tend cook in the instant pot and make salads. Whereas in the winter I always use my Le Creuset to cook on the stove top. I truly enjoy your channel and look forward to your videos. Thank you for sharing your life with us.

    That dish is looking so delicious and must be great too. Dude has the easiest job in tasting the food and you did a great job with this dish even though you didn't have all the ingredients available. I love the crock pot you have and it must be great to cook in also. I decided this year to go back to cast iron cookware and even though I had used my grandmother's skillet over the years I still purchased two new 10.5" skillets and two dutch ovens for cooking at home and on the road. I hope you all are having a nice weekend and is Blessed.

    Hi again Flo. When I got the notification for this I thought "whats going on Flo no IP" It is another great recipe though. So glad you did not use "fishy" tasting fish. That spoils this great dish. No fennel ? ( I'll let you off you put the seeds in) Will try this one.
    Your favourite pot looked liked Le Creuset. Should outlast you.
    Wish I could have come to your "meet"
    Keep them coming Flo.

    Lets be honest while IP is great for certain purposes, it has its flaws. My main problem with it is searing, unfortunately its not powerful enough to sear properly larger than small amount of meat. Stovetop is just unbeatable, overall tool. I still love IP

    We have airline miles in the US :)
    I hadn't wondered about your odd dimmer, but I am curious about the layout of your home. Is the kitchen a throughway between the dining room and the living room? (Strange the things we wonder about UA-camrs' lives.)

    • @FloLum
      @FloLum  6 років тому +2

      LOL, the kitchen is galley style and through one door is the dining room that connects to the living room which is on one side of the kitchen. I wish we could knock down that wall to create an open kitchen. The other door leads to a hallway to the bedrooms.

    Whoa! A Rancilio Silvia! You likely got that from Reg at EspressoTec!
    Where do you get your beans from? I'm a fan of Pallet coffee but there are others...
    Made a wicked Jambalaya in the Instant Pot while making Texas chili in the big stove pot (like your Red one...) at the same time.
    Few things more satisfying that cooking weeks worth of food all at the same time.

    So I wandered a ways down the comments, to see if anyone commented on the dimmer. That is the kind of dimmer you find in sound studios. Low noise etc. I was going to ask you if you knew what the name of it was - but obviously you did not. I recognized it before you commented on it.

  • @bridgetsalter265

    How true flo...👍and of course to really crisp anything you need a grill or airfryer at the end of IP cooking.
    Must admit since also now having a baby casori 2qt....the baby IP too costly to ship via amazon to me in UK ....is truly brilliant for 1or2 people cooking,and so quick.Looking back I really wish I had the new style IP back in the 80s when my son was a baby x busy working life ,I did use the old style pressure on the stove top,heart in the mouth every use 😂
    Just loved this back to basics type vlog but can I ask you ....gas or electric to cook with,and any other subbers who wish to add their preference too.
    For me gas all the way...more so in the oven ,I really do taste the difference, but some people can't tell the difference.
    So enjoyed flo x dude ,your success so deserved ,all the best till next time x👍👌❤

      @FloLum  6 років тому +1
