Peeing on a jellyfish sting actually hastens the venom, which makes it hurt more and faster. What you should do is pour clear vinegar on it, remove the tentacles with tweezers and then soak it in hot water. Just to not make any confusion.
The tiny stinging hooks left by the tentacles are too small to remove with tweezers however if you scrub it with a handful of sand it will remove most of them
Quite right, was going to make the same comment. I have no idea why people think urine would be a good remedy for anything... I think the show Friends really helped spread that myth around.

Headwear is a whole thing on the "beach", I decided. Mostly straw. Or plastic. Or plastic straw. Handy to get the plastic efficiently right to the ocean.
The First Guy really knows how to sell a thing, even when he's doing it terribly :-). Those sounds of waves and seagulls in the background were nice touches to the video - two thumbs-up!
The First Guy didn't even explain that you'd wear less clothing out here. "That just sounds awkward." "Did I mention women would be here, too?" "I'll be here every day."

I'm Australian so I grew up literally never further than a stones throw from the beach... I never understood city folk who complained about the beach...
However this video made me laugh and also realise.... the beach is pretty horrifying ... he didnt even get to the sharks or stingrays...
Or as he did mention, Jellyfish! they look like clear plastic bags full of water, which really scares me when im walking on the beach especially over in the Gold Coast.

Missed opportunity: Get more and more red throughout the sketch until you are just fully sunburned. Also, commenting on the pranks people pull, such as burying others under the tiny rocks, and talking about the little creatures that live in the tiny rocks which you can find when digging in the tiny rocks.

He's Canadian from the East coast, so probably spend most of his younger years in the Maritims and we don't have sharks here, but these little jellyfish mofos are everywhere. They used to terrify me as a kid, still got nightmares about them sometimes ;^^

As someone who doesn’t see the appeal of beaches in any way I strongly relate
Same. I like the drinking stuff though and moving my arms and legs in it, but that is why areas were created where they put the non-salty version of it into holes they lined with concrete, sometimes even indoors so you don't get burned by the sun. Also no blobby things there and you get the pee on the skin for free just by going into the drinking stuff.

There is probably a slight difference with youtubers, especially in comments to their videos... for whatever reason, we think we are more acquainted to them and often call/mention them by first names... but in reality, there is no reason to do so really

As someone born and raised in Spain I actually feel impressed about how a Canadian guy nailed the Beach activity so accurately.
We have a lot of beaches here in Canada. We also have this thing called summer, it comes along for about four months every year, sometime between second spring and construction season.

This is the first UA-cam channel that has me actively watch its ads because of how interesting they turn out to be. Usually I just skip them
Yeah when I was a kid I've always hated the beach. Sand would get everywhere and so the drive home would be a pain and I was never allowed to go in the water because it was either too cold or too deep and my mom was scared that I would drown if I send too far(so the most I was able to actually manage was up to my legs)
Now that I have a surfboard I'm allowed to go deeper into the water to the point where I can actually swim because I can use a surfboard as something to grab onto if I get tired or my feet get caught onto something
I LOVE the beach. You are right about the drive home though, just sitting on a towel while you are 1: damp, and 2: covered in sand. Still love it though!
