- Welcome to my channel.
This is actual uncut footage from Mod 2 test recently taken in Warwick. I hope this video will help you pass first time too.
Despite being a relative beginner at that point, with your obvious skills and ability to stay calm under pressure, it was going to be very difficult for you to fail. Great test mate.
That's quite a compliment! Thank you ❤️
I’ve just watched this video and copied whole route into Google maps. So can drive it in the car thank u for posting
Fantastic narrating, too 👏 I have learnt a lot from this video. Congratulations, I know it's 1 year a go
Thanks for the video it’s been very helpful.got my mod 2 next Tuesday so fingers crossed.
Glad it helped. All the best for the test!
Great video helps alot watched it before my test 👍🏻 Passed

Well done mate passed my theory yesterday practicing on my 125 before going further 👍👍
Enjoyd watching mod 2 test cool, i've mod 2 test coming in december thanks.
All the best!
Literally had the same route but went onto the A46. Failed unfortunately due to a tipper truck slowing down and me having to avoid to but got too close. Otherwise was a pretty perfect ride. Gonna be doing it again pretty soon. You made this look easy!!
I'm glad the video helped you. Don't worry about the fail. We all learn from mistakes. All the best for next and hopefully the final one!
Edit: if you watch my video fully, at 7:40 you'll see I encountered a truck too. All you need to concentrate on, in that situation, is safety.
Great video with excellent tips. Really informative!
Thank you for appreciation. I'm glad it helped you.

Good explanation 👍
Congratulations Well done, hope I do as well as you did .A
Thank you for this video and commenting.
Congratulations to you. Afraid to say I failed my mod 2 today. We entered a dual carriageway in the right hand lane from a roundabout and he was unhappy with how long it took me to move to the left lane of the carriageway. Examiner had positioned his bike in the left lane and worried me that he was blocking me from moving into the left lane. Once I saw it was clear, I indicated left and continued in that lane. To him, I had a major positional fault as it took me too long to move into what he thought was a clear left lane. I am disappointed but had no other faults at all so will have to retake and ensure that I take the advice to heart of treating the test as if the examiner wasn’t there. I didn’t enter that left lane immediately because I felt he was blocking me. I should have ignored his presence and manoeuvred as I would on my own.
You'll get it next time don't worry. I have commented in my commentary that you need to ignore the examiner. They have a job riding close to you so that they can observe you whilst riding. Roundabouts are easy if you respect them. Exiting right lane isn't a fault, but always make a habit that you need to be in the left lane as soon as you complete your exit maneuver. Better luck next time and I hope it'll be last time for the test!
@@Mr.Explorer47 you were right. Passed with no faults. Time to get a Suzuki v twin and finally be able to commute to work on my own!
@@Labgorilla well done. Happy and safe riding!
When you said you were in the right hand lane for a bit too long, I wouldn’t consider that to be a serious or dangerous fault?
@@bottletree33My reply may be late, but they check for 2 things on road. Safety and adherence to the highway code, which is stated to use left hand lane at all times unless turning right or overtaking.
Nice video, good advice, great that you passed, happy riding😊
Well done very informative, doing mine soon 👍
Thank you. All the very best!
About 1:50 you say it's a 40mph road but then pass a 30 sign? I assume it was the end of the 40 section. Well done matey! 👍❤️😎
Thanks. I do explain the change of speed limit in further commentary.
Very easy route this looked
Good 👍
Wow man..love from Nepal 🇳🇵
Well done. Easy place to pass compared with Birmingham or Wolverhampton lol
Definitely much better place! Thanks for watching.
I took mine in Chester first roundabout I took the wrong exit 😅 he said no turn around in the nearest road I panicked feet down nearly fell off 😂 but the rest of the ride was perfect and I passed with 1 minor and that was being too close to a kerb turning left. I noticed in my test that the examiner was nearly invisible behind me then next he was at my side then he was way back again but what felt like 10mins I was turning back into the test centre 😂
From the look of it you’re on a 125? So an A1 licence? I just wondered how Mod1 went for you getting the correct speed for the emergency stop and hazard avoidance on a low capacity bike?
The Mighty Hills- (bumps) of Warick!
Very helpful. Thanks. Someone below asked if you had to indicate to pass parked cars, and you said that you didn't as long as you stayed to the left of the central white line. At about 18.00, it looks like you crossed the white line in order to get around the parked car. Did you indicate then (or should you indicate in that situation)? Thanks again.
Thanks for your comments. No I didn't indicate as I didn't completely change lanes on any of those swirling occasions. The understanding on motorbike indicators is to use them if they're helpful to others. I've been observing mirrors and lifesavers and had no vehicles behind me or in front of me on those occasions so therefore I didn't have to indicate.
Congratulations. What bike were you riding? Got my training this Saturday.
Back in 91 my examiner followed me in a car….. motorcycle licence was simple then, 125 cc, 20 minute ride, a couple of Highway Code questions and you passed. Examiners then had nous, they knew if you were good enough.
They still can follow you in a car, but it's weather dependent and availability of examiners. Also, they still need to be connected to you via radio whether they are in a car or bike.
20 minutes ride and a couple of questions would have been so easy if available but with modern mindsets and the drivers' behaviour, the current testing system is justified, I believe.
Graduated car licensing…. Bikers are penalised… Thoughts on this??
@@James-gr5rz elaborate please
@@Mr.Explorer47 well, I will elaborate, my wife loves that word when I argue about washing up, my point is that driving tests are utter bollocks. Examiners know how a person is before they get into a vehicle. My HGV examiner fell asleep on my test.
@@Mr.Explorer47 we’re still friends though!,,
Had the same route for my mod 2 yesterday but at 28:06 was told to take first exit on to duel carriageway then next exit off no idea where I went from there 😆 failed no minors just a serious for judgement, apparently I pulled out in front of a car when I know I didn’t but oh well now to wait a few more months for availability 🤦♂️
Oh dear. Don't stress, just take another test when you feel you're ready. Always remember, It's always better to be slow during the test than to be quick. A slow move is minor, if at all, but anything in haste can get you an instant fail. All the best for the next one!
@@Mr.Explorer47 thanks mate passed yesterday morning 👊 🏍
@@Dxkzo that’s great news. I'm glad this video helped you. Please continue to share and like the video for others.
Where was your test? Please share how it went.
@@Mr.Explorer47 Was with Warwickshire & West Midlands motorcycle training and mod 2 was at Warwick at 11am perfect ride and highly recommend this school to do DAS with great bunch of blokes always having a laugh and got me through mod 1 & 2 very fast 👌
Nice bike :3
Very well done mate. Just a query. How long have you been riding before you booked your test? I mean after you’ve had your CBT?
Thank you. About a year after CBT. All the best!
Did you have to indicate around the parked vehicles, great content!
Thank you. No you don't need to indicate if you remain within your lane. It's a swirl from position 2 to position 3, lifesaver only.
My Examiner was angel after 20 minutes took me back to centre with 4 minors they just wanna see you ride safe no one perfect
I hope I get 1 like that 🤦🏿♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
How come you didn’t have to go onto any duel carriageways ? Which license did you take please and we’ll done ( got mine next Tuesday 🙏🏻🤞🏻 )
Routes can vary and always chosen by examiners. Regardless of motorbike licence category (A, A2 or A1) the test and it's procedure is exactly the same. All the best!
I'm doing module 2 in Warwick. Never been to this town. This is only test route?
No test routes can be different but I guess not massively different. Hope this video helps you.
Looked nice quiet roads ¿
When you were doing the right turns did you do only right mirror check signal and shoulder check or both mirrors? And if yes did you get any minor for it or it was all good?
Just the right side as far as I remember. No minor on this point.
I let my nerves get the better of me on my first mod 2 and came away with 11 minors so Friday I went out and enjoyed the ride didn't let my nerves get better of me and came back with no minors and a pass
In regards to the speed bumps you would be expected to ride over them on a mod test
You could but you're allowed to ride on either side too. Of course best practice would be to safely ride over them but there's no demerit point for riding on either sides provided the rider has followed correct procedure.
Any roundabout tips also please? Gear for approach etc ?
Just don't stress. You'll have plenty of time when the examiner tells you what to do on roundabout. Upon approach, slow down, be in 2nd gear and drop to 1st if you see any sign of traffic. Take your time. You don't fail if you're slow, but you instantly fail if you don't give way at roundabout.
Did you mess up your independent riding? As you didn’t take 2nd right the left or the right that I could work out.
No I didn't. Sounds like I messed up in commentary 😂
@@Mr.Explorer47 ohhhh that would make sense. As I was following what you said an thinking. “He missed the 2nd right and that left etc…” hahaha congrats on passing though mate 👍
What this on a full size bike or a 125cc?
What bike is that, it sounds like a 125?
S
Do u have to indicate in and out when stopping and pulling out
I did yes and I noticed the examiner was doing it too, although I was told in my CBT that I don't have to if there's no traffic.
Don’t you have to preform a u turn on the mod 2 or is it just for mod 1 ?
That's mod 1. The only time you might end up doing a u turn on mod 2 is when examiner asks you to take last exit on roundabout.
Who did you do your training with We live just outside Warwick thanks
Nobody. I just had CBT. I thoroughly recommend Warwick, the rest route is so easy and almost free from traffic.
I’m using WWMM and would recommend if you haven’t found anywhere yet 👍🏼
@@corytierney9318 yes the Mrs starting her training with them
Which license did you get A1, A2 or A unrestricted
Regardless of motorbike licence category (A, A2 or A1) the test and it's procedure is exactly the same. Hope the video is helpful.
I just passed my theory test yesterday so that's done for 2 years now I have got to take my cbt again will pass that easy I no u can lend one of there bikes for cbt what about the mod 1 and mod 2 can u lend a bike off them or do u have to do it on your own bike ?
You have to arrange a bike yourself. Very likely it'll be from the riding school. You can take your friend/family's bike too but someone will have to ride you to test centre or tow it because you're not legally allowed to use more than 125cc on L plates without (radio connected) instructor.
Instead of doing CBT, I suggest take mod 1 and 2 for A1 licence. It'll cost you less than CBT and will give you more freedom to ride independently on 125 + less insurance premium. And you'll have more knowledge and experience when you take full A test.
@Mr.Explorer47 so can I do the mod 1 and 2 First ? Then after do the cbt I am new to all this I was told u had to do your cbt , theory test then your mod 1 and 2 ? So what cc bike can u do your mods on 125 ?
@@James-kd8bb if you already have a CBT and it's expiring soon then I suggest you take A1 test. All tests (A1, A2 and full A) are carried out in same manner but limits you on engine size. For example, A1 is full licence as long as you ride up to 125cc. If you have A1 licence and wish to upgrade to full A, you don't need to do CBT again.
If your CBT has already expired then ignore all this and take CBT and then prepare yourself for full A.
Love for uk from india I'm here after Patiala boy harneet singh

got my mod 2 in a few hours in rotherham ill update if I have passed or failed.

@@Mr.Explorer47 failed nearly went on the mortorway on a round about that i usally go on somehow my brain farted and i ended up failing ugh rebooked for 16th lmao
@@Glotalaya oh no. Don't worry it's the nerves playing during the test. Next time, all you need to keep in your mind is you're riding with a friend who's telling you where to go on radio. This way you'll get rid of test nervousness. All the best!
@@Mr.Explorer47I wasn't even nervous lmao I quite enjoyed it until i had to fork out 170 quid xD

@@bitcoinbeast and all the best!
@@Mr.Explorer47 thanks man, yeah I came from zero experience, but its going better thab I thought! 🙏
This is all just to make lots of money. Bike tests are just like car tests; once you've passed, just about everyone drives totally differently from how they were taught. You couldn't continue riding as they taught you because you would never get anywhere. This is all just to make lots of money.
No U-Turns? thought that was something your examiner had to make you do? regardless congrats bro
Thanks. I believe you're getting it confused with mod 1. Unless the examiner takes you on the route where they ask you to take last exit on roundabout, I've not come across anyone being asked to take a U-turn on mod 2 test.
My Examiner was angel after 20 minutes took me back to centre with 4 minors they just wanna see you ride safe no one perfect
