- I got sick of the stock exhaust bluing so much, as well as the sewing machine sound it would make... so some exhaust wrap and EMGO pipes to the rescue!

Great job man
dude that sounds great.
You did good man!
Wrapping technique is ok but the wrapping is done in the wrong direction. ALWAYS start from the back of the pipes and wrap towards the header so the overlaps face the rear, that's the proper way...otherwise overlooking that it looks nice
Did not know that! Thanks!
My thoughts too. Looks really good though.
Very nice sound
Sounds and looks like a man’s bike. Well done !!!
I like what you did with the decals on the seat cowl. You said you printed them up, so how exactly did you to that? Also, thanks for your videos. You've given me some great ideas to work from. I just picked up a low mileage 2013 Thruxton so I'm playing around with various mods and accessories to make it mine.
Fantastic bike , sound wrap. Did you have enough wrap to reach to the end of the muffler if needed for both sides with the 50 ft ?
LOOK INTO "NOLOGY COILS AND SPARK PLUG WIRES" AND THERE SPARK PLUGS , IT WILL MAKE THE BIKE EVEN MORE FUN TO RIDE ! AIR CLEANER MOD ALSO ! GOOD LOOKING BIKE !
thanks for the vid! curious if you ever use a silicone coating spray on the wrap?
I have in the past, but its kinda pointless. Its basically to prevent fiberglass from getting loose from the wrap.
Those drop pegs are cool! I wound up putting the new style Thruxton pegs on my 09 and they're not bad. Grippy.. Where did you get those pegs, if you don't mind me asking?
Ebay, just search Thruxton or Bonneville drop pegs.
First time I ever saw someone put a baffle on the header pipe end of the muffler, but it makes sense when it fits so well. I'd be interested to know if it is louder at that end of the muffler than in the usual exhaust end. Interesting vid, thanks.
It is SO MUCH louder than the stock exhaust, but half-as loud as with no baffle at-all.
@@AimlessMoto another trick is to use stainless steel kitchen scrubbers over the baffel instead of the glass, a little louder, fuller, and wont blow out in 3 months. DId the glass with a set of BUB Dresser dogs on my America, even with the safety wire, it blew out all over my chain. As this is an 3 year old vid have you noticed anything like that?
Bought a 2013 thrux late may also. Awesome bike. Been looking for a phone mount... curious if you like yours and where did you get it?
Ebay, just search for handlebar phone mount... it's the one that's $18.
Thanks man, found it. You recommend it?
It's not bad! Definitely hods the phone well, not super tight like the RAM but I trust my phone in it. It fits my Galaxy Note 5 perfectly.
Mind sharing where you printed the decals? (Specifically the cowl outline)
My own design. I have a vinyl plotter. It was trial and error.
Hi, Where did you source the bent extension short pipes?
Just found them on line. Cheers
What happens with the rain?
Nothing... it gets wet... it dries... no big deal.
Sounds nice 👌 🇬🇧
Each to their own but you couldn't pay me to wrap my pipes. I think even if it turns blue it's still a cleaner look than wrap. Good luck with yours.
Depends on the look you're going for.
I just don't like the wrap because it gets filthy and starts to fall apart right away. I'll stick with the bluing. But to each his own.
Exhaust wrap looks terrible just poses
