Dude, you read my mind. I just watched the dog skull video and was planning to modify it and use it to make a deer helmet. I haven't even watched this yet and I'm already excited.
Really got to say thanks for this been wanting to get or try to make a wendigo mask for D&D and a con coming up and your template is going to be a life saver and it having the lowest jaw makes even better!
Currently building this and noticing how straight the lines of your pieces are vesus the pattern, especially parts B and C. We're currently in a snow storm so I'm using floor mat because it's what I have on hand. Definitely need to cut bevels in some of the seams to make it work. I'll probably switch to contact adhesive as the AC glue I'm currently using isn't keeping the seams shut. Decent pattern to start with, thanks for putting it out there.
I’m trying to follow along and man, you have got to be very skilled to make this look as easy as you do. May have bit off more than I can chew, but I won’t quit until it’s done or it’s FUBAR! I will have a badass wendigo costume this year haha
I try to make the steps as easy as possible to follow but realize that I have been building props and costues for over a decade. Keep at it every build is an improvement in your skillset! 🙌
This looks amazingly creepy! I imagine it would look even scarier if it was made at 1.5x or 2x scale from a regular deer skull. Something like fleshy bits made of liquid latex added could really be terrifiying for halloween!

Thank you so much for the template. I'm modifying it to a buffalo skull, and it's absolutely perfect! When it's done, defo gonna tag if I upload it to instagram
I have a few questions, for the antlers if you don’t want them to be removable would you just glue the wooden dowels into the PVC coupler or would you assemble it differently? And also, do you happen to have a link to the rotary tool you use?
One thing I thought of for the teeth, was adding either a single wire through the teeth which prevents them ALL from falling out or maybe a single wire through each tooth that you poke through the base of the skull (with glue) for extra support.
No reason to do that on these small teeth. Bob smith superglue hold hd-foam extremely well and once it’s Plasti dipped all of the teeth are sealed in place. The only reason I did that on chainsaw man was so I could reposition them before they were glued in place.
Amazing, right when i was looking that type of mask. However i wanted to know since i dont really see it on the video but does it cover your whole face or just the top ? And if it doesnt then what should I modify/tweak/add for it to cover the bottom part of my face ? Thanks a lot
