I'd have been lost without this, as I hadn't expected the second blade to go flying off when I unscrewed the top one, and was mystified about how to reassemble.     I can’t begin to thank you enough for this, after I chased my spring around my apartment, I knew where it had to go. Then I had to switch the side of the short clipper for the plastic piece, and then reassembled the entire thing! HooRahh!! Thanks from across the pond! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

    Very good guide indeed. Nice to see someone willing to show how fiddly that spring was to re-install, (mine shot across the Kitchen on 1st attempt), but thankfully, after watching this, I got my clippers cleaned, oiled and made whole again.

    Took blades off and the spring flew across the room. Struggled to put it back together again and was about to get on;the internet to buy a new one when I came across this video. Followed instructions and 30 seconds later all back together. Thanks.

    Your video saved my clippers. I accidentally unscrewed too far and the whole thing fell apart and I was going to throw it out and buy a new one. Perfect tutorial. Went right back together in less than a minute and good as new. ❤

    Thanks for sharing this! Saved me a bunch of trial and error. One tweak I would recommend is to start pushing the spring bend towards the plastic latch before you push the spring completely down.

    Thankyou so much. I took mine apart to clean and the spring popped out. My old set didn't have the spring. Had no clue how I was going to put it back together. Without this comprehensive video, I'd have probably shouted expletives at it for an hour and ended up buying a new set.

    Thank you thank you thank you. Totally different make and model, taken apart as not working (was clogged). Couldn't reassemble, found this, identified the need for springs to fit in white mount and it fixed it immediately. Its 11 at night and I'm with customers first thing so fix or go scruffy. Thanks to you its the former. Appreciate you taking time to put this up and help others. Top man!

    Thank you! I'd just bought my clippers and they didn't sound right. Dummy me took out the screws and the spring went flying.     Thanks from a year later! I planned to pop off the face plate to quickly clear out the hair clogging it, but didn't really know how it worked, so I was caught by surprise when the thing flung off as soon as I unscrewed the second screw. This helped me put it back together

    This is worth its weight in gold. Like probably everyone watching this I spent a good two hours (bad eyesight, shaky big fingers) and then went to buy a new set. They were sold out so I found this and got them together working fine. Also kudos to Wahl. I have had my clippers for at least ten years and this was my first clean (used every 2-3 weeks). My amortized haircut cost is Pennie’s.

    This helped a lot, I also figured out it's easier to clip the spring back in with just my thumbs. The tips point up but you can rest the spring closest to the clipping point and keep your thumb on it. Use your other fingers to push the spring up into its final position (try not to stab your fingers)

    This video helped a lot! I have the cheapo $15 Wahl clippers but the spring and all the other parts are exactly the same, just smaller. You don't have to push very hard to get the spring to clip in on this one.

    Great video! My clippers were incredibly dull. I was going to buy new ones but thought I would search for a way to sharpen. I used oil and started with 800 grit untill the oil became milky then finished with 2000 grit and re cut my hair made a huge difference. Thanks again!

    You'd think they'd warn us all about something like this 😅 This happened to me a couple months ago (my clippers fell out of my hand; I have tremors from my FND so it wasn't my fault) and I was in the middle of clipping my hair 💀😭😂🥹
