Seven years later, you're still helping people reassemble their exploded trimmers after having dropped them from ridiculously small heights. Thank you!
seriously! all i did was tap mine on the edge of the sink 😅 ... i gave it several tries, but the parts were just in a bag for months like a puzzle i didn't want to do anymore. thanks for the video!
Like so many others, I dropped the trimmer and it exploded - parts went everywhere. I collected them and your video helped put Humpty Dumpty together again. I put electrical tape to hold it together. What a pain. If you have one and it's still in one piece, I suggest taping it up.
After coming down from the excitement of finally being able to fix my Wahl trimmer, I figured I would be so gracious as to let this dude know how thankful I am, because I'm sure I'm probably the only one, and he deserves to know.....
Man thank you so much for posting this video 8 years ago. I dropped my trimmer in the sink yesterday while trimming my ear hairs. I tried putting it back together but couldn’t figure it out right after. I had a feeling that I could find a video on how to fix it later on. The next morning (right now) I found your video and reassembled my trimmer. This has saved me from spending another $10-15. Very much appreciated.
I was literally about to stomp out my door and drive across town to buy another one but this pro tip saved me 45 minutes and about 20 bucks! Thanks man!
9 years later and this video is still helping people 😂, namely me since I dropped my trimmer today and it popped completely apart. I have a second one but I didn't want to have to disassemble it just to figure out how to reassemble this one. Thank you so much!
8 years later and you're still helping people reassemble their trimmers! Mine was brand new, dropped it and it went to pieces. You're a lifesaver!! Thanks.
You saved my life. My trimmer fell to the floor and fell apart and I didn't know how to assemble it. Until I found your video. Thank you very much. Praise God for your life
You are the man, I dropped it right out of the package and couldn't figure out how to put it back together. 30 seconds after your video, it's back together and working perfectly. Thank you.
I thank you, my mustache likes you, my scrotum thanks you! I have rebuilt motors, repaired every kitchen appliance imaginable, and this was beyond me. Much appreciation for your service! 🎉
Thank you! I was so close to getting it on my own, but the video showed me how to snap that stationary blade in. It was comforting knowing I was close and it allowed me to be more aggressive getting the stationary blade in. Very helpful, works great now.
Thank you so much Paul! Always told my Father, when something breaks, there's a dozen other people it happened to. So shocked to see 26,833 others trying to fix their Hair trimmer as well! GREAT VIDEO! mine is working again.
Thank you! You are a life-saver. Same thing as Shari, I dropped it and the head came apart. So I took the head apart to clean it and got the two cutting heads reversed. It would run but was pinching the skin. I'm 73, and getting that little gear arm back in there while holding the cutting heads in place was a nightmare. Again, thank you.
I spent about 20 minutes trying to get this reassembled after I dropped it and it flew apart. I was going to give up and buy a new one. I decided perhaps someone made a youtube video about it because I couldn't be the only one could I? Apparently not!!! After watching your video I found that I had the parts in the wrong order. I put it together in 5 minutes. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. KarenM
Thank you so much forever. I have some seasonal problems with my hands in the winter, and drop everything. The part that was causing me some confusion in the installation order was that first piece of metal before you put in the blades. I had two of these good trimmers in pieces which I just restored because you gave your time. It was an excellent demonstration. Thank you!
Same here. I had mine for only a couple of weeks, and just dropped it in the sink, not from very high, but it went in pieces. They should make these in a way that the parts snap together more firmly. The man who made the video is a true hero, he's doing good in this world!
Yes. They really are excellent trimmers except for the fact that it doesn't take but a tiny fall for them to come apart. He did an excellent demonstration. Out of the blue I realized that I should check for a UA-cam video since there is a tutorial on almost everything else you can want.@@blakeray9856
5 1/2 years later and you are still helping people! I dropped the trimmer this morning. Popped on UA-cam and 💥 found your video. Thanks for saving my day!
Thanks so much, Paul! The first time I dropped a Wahl trimmer, the parts scattered, I discovered that I was missing the little arm, and I bought a new trimmer. After I dropped the new trimmer two subsequent times over several months, I knew what parts I needed to locate from the floor, and your video helped me get the device back together again. Now, I'll remember the steps. That said, I think I will follow one of your fans' recommendation to tape the removable assembly to the base. Call me butterfingers.
Thank you so much for helping me install my trimmer. I drop mins in the bathroom this morning and been trying to place it back together for couple of hours lol.
Twice I had to come to this EXCELLENT Video to fix Mama's trimmer. This time I read more posts and saw the idea of black electrical tape to hold the two halves together after re-assembling the pieces. Great Idea to keep it working.
Same like others, I dropped the detailer and I thought it only had two blades, could not find anything else, spent almost $30 on this, but I did have a 40% off coupon with Cvs, your video showed me it had a tensioner, looked under my bathroom vanity and found it, put it together, and I was good thanks to you, I appreciate it
That was the video i was searching for. I got my Wahl disassembled after falling on floor and had no idea how to assemble it again. Thank you for posting this. I assembled after watching video and it's working good now.
Dropped mine in the sink and was trying to put it back together with only 3 pieces. Luckily I found the 4th piece and it didn't go down the drain. This video is BOMB! Thanks.
I was just about to toss out my Wahl trimmer after it exploded apart when it fell off my counter. Thank you for your video. I had it back together but wasn't sure I had parts in the proper alignment. Thank you again.
Thank you for this video. We are on vacation and as I was trimming the a k of my neck, this trimmer accidentally fell and blew apart. Your video saved the day and I was able to reassemble it with no issues.l!
Thank you... after spending 30 minutes trying to put my sons trimmer back together, which was handed to me in pieces.... I watched your vid and had it back together quickly...Thanks
I dropped mine on the bathroom counter and all those pieces popped out. I was about to toss it away but checked and found your video. I got it back together thanks to you. Much appreciated.
Thank you so much! After watching your video, I realized I was missing a part after I dropped it this morning. I went back and found it and was able to put it back together after struggling with parts for two hours. Very helpful.
Hubby spent a bunch of time cleaning his and everything so he wouldn't have to buy new. He set it on the sink, and it rolled off and shattered on the floor. He gave me the pieces, but I kept thinking something was missing. Thanks to your video, I was able to find that little black piece (which, of course, had slid under the closet door) and put the whole thing back together. Thank you!
Thank you thank you thank you! I dropped my trimmer on the first day I got it and couldn't figure out where the metal piece went. This really helped!!!! Thanks again!!!
Thank you brother, this video helped me a lot! I was struggling trying to put the parts together but I didn't realize that there was a fourth piece. Then after I watched this tutorial I went back to the place I dropped the trimmer and found the piece that was missing to the puzzle. You got a like!

Thanks for this video I couldn’t figure where the bottom piece went . This is my fourth trimmer over a few years .! The latest one rolled off my sink and hit the floor and flew apart., they need to make the handle so it doesn’t roll!!
Thankyou so so much for showing how to do this ! I opened mine up and all the parts flew all over the place . So I thought somebody on youtube has to have how to put this back together and It was YOU ! Thanks again
I just wanted to say thank you very much for posting this video on how to repair the trimmer. The very last little metal piece in the back, I didn't fix know where it went inside, I couldn't get mine to work anymore, and I was about to give up on it. Thank you!.

Fyi - $7 for replacement heads from Wahl. But if the parts arent actually broken why pay and wait for shipping
