seriously! all i did was tap mine on the edge of the sink 😅 ... i gave it several tries, but the parts were just in a bag for months like a puzzle i didn't want to do anymore. thanks for the video!
Like so many others, I dropped the trimmer and it exploded - parts went everywhere. I collected them and your video helped put Humpty Dumpty together again. I put electrical tape to hold it together. What a pain. If you have one and it's still in one piece, I suggest taping it up.

I couldn’t figure out which one went on the bottom and that piece that does go on the bottom, I kept putting it the other way because I was following the hole sizes 🤦🏻♀️

After I dropped the new trimmer two subsequent times over several months, I knew what parts I needed to locate from the floor, and your video helped me get the device back together again. Now, I'll remember the steps. That said, I think I will follow one of your fans' recommendation to tape the removable assembly to the base. Call me butterfingers.

My Men's Own trimmer popped apart and though different from this Wahl with the round gear and arm which mine does not have, the blades looked pretty much alike and the weird spring like piece you show was slightly different along with the cover halves I was still able to get the gist of how to put it back in place in what order it should go. I was totally baffled and ready to return the item after throwing the package away and thought I was sunk! You saved the day!
Twice I had to come to this EXCELLENT Video to fix Mama's trimmer. This time I read more posts and saw the idea of black electrical tape to hold the two halves together after re-assembling the pieces. Great Idea to keep it working.

Thank you! You are a life-saver. Same thing as Shari, I dropped it and the head came apart. So I took the head apart to clean it and got the two cutting heads reversed. It would run but was pinching the skin. I'm 73, and getting that little gear arm back in there while holding the cutting heads in place was a nightmare. Again, thank you.

Same like others, I dropped the detailer and I thought it only had two blades, could not find anything else, spent almost $30 on this, but I did have a 40% off coupon with Cvs, your video showed me it had a tensioner, looked under my bathroom vanity and found it, put it together, and I was good thanks to you, I appreciate it

The part that was causing me some confusion in the installation order was that first piece of metal before you put in the blades. I had two of these good trimmers in pieces which I just restored because you gave your time. It was an excellent demonstration. Thank you!

Yes. They really are excellent trimmers except for the fact that it doesn't take but a tiny fall for them to come apart. He did an excellent demonstration. same. 6 years and they still haven't made these things a bit more sturdy so they don't explode every time you drop them 2 feet
