I‘m a Korean user, and we call this build “Sasin nova sorceress”, sasin meaning the god of death(grim reaper), because the sorc holding the scythe infinity resembles the grim reaper. Anyway, this build is one of my favorite because of how tanky it is while doing insane dps. Especially because the merc’s prayer aura gives meditation synergy, meditation gains health recovery, so the health recovery effect doubles. Also, the newest update for ladder 3 gave cleansing aura to the new runeword cure, which also receives synergy from prayer, will triple the effect of health recovery making this build even more tankier. The weakest point of this build will be the blood mana curse casted by succubus and baal from act5. Blood mana curse only affect players that have higher mana than life, and under this curse, whenever the player uses mana, the player’s life gets reduced. So practically, this curse was designed to directly nerf sorceress using energy shield. To counter this curse you can stat out your character so it has ideally 1 more health point than mana. However this will make you more squishy, so if you don’t want that you can just break the curse by casting nova until your health becomes almost 0. This is risky but is the fastest way to break the curse.

Ormus does more damage than viper for shure, the FCR is more important than the damage ??? And the Second question is a jewel with atack speed is better than ral in andariels visage ? Break points for your FCR are more important. If you can manage to hit the Break point you'll be fine. Ral in the andy helm to negate the - fire res for your merc. If you can get him capped on res then IAS jewel will do more damage but only if he hits a break point. Ideally a 30 fire res 15 ias jewel is the best in slot.
Aldurs boots are a great alternative boot for the build. Nightsmoke isn't something I would personally use. Maybe if you are still gearing up and struggling with mana issues. However, I wouldn't use that over an Arachnids Mesh.
Unfortunately damage received goes to mana only applies to damage to your life pool. Since your energy shield will be absorbing 90%+ once it is high enough level you get very little returned with that mod so it doesn't do much. If it worked with damage taken to your mana pool as well you'd be un-killable.
