Leaf staff, Lore helmet, stealth armor, you can do pretty heavy damage early game, once you get a good wand or spirit sword with rhyme or ancients pledge shield. You can get through nightmare with stuff you make vs trading or waiting for uniques to drop.
@@Snoozealot i just saw your last vids about nova/frost nova so i hesitated between nova, frost nova or hydra build for beginning this season (2.5) i can't choose finally, help me :p

i know im late but this ladder i specced around a bunch and im finally settled on firebally hydra it absolutely slaps and 3 piece tal set gives -15 fire res so im currently rocking whole set right now with a spirit mon and even with just that and a fire sunder immunes are more than manageable and fireball does like 8-9k and hydra does like 2k which is insane absolutely shreds andy meph slaps cows so hard too easily the strongest sorc build for single target and fireball is just so unbelieavably strong and does insane aoe so it does it all
I'm currently lightning. I have full tals, spirit no soj, infinity, my + skills are at about 35 for lighting with skillers. I can easily get hold of fire + sunder charms. Would you recommend me switching over. I always enjoyed hydra I used it before I got infinity to deal with immunes even before it was buffed and had the cast delay. Just annoying it has no pierce like assassin traps.
I'd say it depends on if you enjoy the play style. Lightning is probably a stronger build overall because it can get so much pierce. The issue with this fire build is getting enough pierce to deal with all the fire immune. While the infinity will help you have to remember it only works at 1/5 because of the interaction with the Sunder charm.
@@Snoozealot is that 1/5 thing only when you have a sunder charm? So if I don't have sunder charm does the Infinity still only give 1/5? And yeah I love hydra playstyle I love being able to teleport around and avoid damage while the hydras do damage for me. I imagine it being slower than lightning but wondered if hydras plus fireball would be high enough damage to negate not having pierce. Your gear is way better than mine, but your players 8 clearspeed was not that much slower than my player kill speed and your players 1 speed just looked like a high level character in normal, that's why it looks very powerful and I'm considering the swap. I have a few tokens so I guess I could try
@@Snoozealot btw when I say 'pierce', sorry I'm not talking about piercing through immunities, I'm talking about the fact that lighting travels through enemies, so one shot of lightning hits all enemies in a row and chain lighting basically everything, but hydra or fireball do not go through enemies even though fireball has some aoe.
@@gutts1405 I'm a firm believer in playing what is fun to you. I think if you compare fully geared characters I think Lightning will be a stronger build, but this build fully geared is very strong as well. Personally I prefer this build over Lightning. Hopefully that helps
He has not played it as well. It's a hero editor build just for the video with no personal experience. I prefer guides of players who have played that char hundreds of hours. They probably would recommend Hoto instead of Eshutas for more safety and qol. That 20% is a trap since it's just added to fire mastery. And you are one-shotting everything in p1, so stacking more dmg is not needed.
@@Snoozealot Could mention a lot of little choices but Bone Prison from Marrowwalk is the MVP for making Meph hold still Meteor's burny ground halts regen and 6x Hydras is good enough you can skip Static Field after a certain gear point
