chris is trying so hard not to be harsh about them housing bearded dragons together, he's so polite
When I saw how small the tank was and they had both in there 😬
I've never owned reptiles but I've learned that's not how you keep those beardies.
I ADORE Chrissy and Dr. Chris episodes!!! She is a riot! He's, well, he's a hunk! They are fun while they are helping birds of many colors!!
And the fact they have so many animals... oh my god, I just got to that part. If this is how they're treating the bearded dragons they love so much, I feel SO bad for those other animals.
People need to do more research before getting a pet.
Sounds cruel to the kid but I think her and her mother shouldve been shown photos of badly injured bearded dragons that were living together
Okay, those chicks are the cutest thing I've ever seen.
Did you notice their nails are painted too ? :o
@@krystaldelmonico9282 Oh. You're referring to the painted silk chickens? I was talking about the striped baby chicks in the end of the episode.
@@keepcalmyouexist358 Yes the painted chickens had painted nails too. Those chicks were adorable in the end. I hope the parents can produce many more to repopulate. : )
They're pretty CHIC
I want a purple one! So CUTE!!!!
Am I the only one who is absolutely addicted to watching Bondi vet?? I watch it every single day!!!
No, I watch 2 episodes at least a day!😂😂😂😂
Ashleyisweird not just you!
I don’t watch it everyday, but I love the series (if that’s what you call the episodes)
No I watch 3 or more episodes every day
We all watch like 10 videos a day XD
I just started watching Bondi vet and I love the episodes except i don’t like the episode where Cino (i think that’s his name) gets enema.💉💉💉💉🩹🩹🩹🩹😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐩🐩🐩🐩🐩
Chris is so polite about telling them not to keep bearded dragons together- I really appreciate he took the time to show them *why* you can't keep them together- and he's so kind to the girl! He lets her give input, tries to get her opinion, is generally just very kind and understanding.
Dr, Chris is amazing and compassionate plus wicked smart!
“She’s gone to chook heaven” it made me laugh a little but you truly see how much this lovely lady cares for these birds. Bless her heart, it’s so cute
I have a bearded dragon and one of the first things I learned when doing my research was. Don't pair them unless it's for breeding...
Chizard x my female and male could not be parted if I did they would get stressed, my tank is big enough for 2 Pygmy bearded dragons though
well they are able to pair if it’s a female and female 2 males might fight and a male and a female will put stress on them this can change situation to situation but that’s the general rule
Depends on the beardie though
You’re 100% correct. Bearded dragons are solitary animals. They do not enjoy the company of each other. They can get along, but one will always be dominant and they will always be battling for the best basking spot, UVB, and food. Do not house them together. Coming from someone who owns/works with them and has worked under someone who bred them.
@@aiden4785 nope, cohabitation is bad no matter what.
You should never house bearded dragons together. Never they are bad at fighting with each other. Love thus show. Dr. Chris and everyone is amazing
only in breeding season u can but they gotta be mature not 3 months lmao
Too many people anthropomorphize solitary animals and think they'll be lonely housed alone. They're happier alone. Plus, many solitary animals have a social phase in infancy because they're handing out with littermates for protection, and people buy them during the social phase and see them together with siblings in the pet store, and think they'll be happy like that their whole lives. I see the same thing happen a lot with hamsters, too.
@@mvgikk1969 and they have to be a similar size for their safety
"it's not food."
"Hey man, "food" is anything I can eat."

"Saw some rainbow chickens."

2 seconds of research says that bearded dragons should never be housed together. I’m worried for her other 26 pets..
In a large enough tank they can it's adults and baby's that should not be together but yeah that should be about the same size
@@enjjackson44 you shouldn't even risk that. the main reason not to house them is because one will become dominant and sit on the other, as the mom explained the bigger beardie did. this blocks the smaller from heat and the necessary uvb light and can give them metabolic bone disease, I've seen a couple beardies who have unfortunately had this happen. Keep them separate or don't buy two.
wild one Bearded Dragons are dominant by nature. They will fight over food and they will fight over basking spots. Cohabitation isn’t a good idea, unless it’s for breeding.
There is a lot of misinformation that goes around saying that it is safe to house multiple lizards in the same enclosure (especially on some forums). I hope people research a lot more when they get lizards. I feel like people think that just because they are small, they are easy to take care of or something (they are sometimes but people underestimate their care).
wild one my cousin had a tank with 4 full grown bearded dragons and never had a problem with them
I was in the hospital for several days. I kept the lights down low and binge watched Bondi Vet.
The stories leave me feeling better than before I watched. I would pay to have a Vet with these medical talents. Incredible.
yeah u gotta pay for all vets
Me too
The baby beardie on the stethoscope was the CUTEST thing
Tim’s enthusiasm reminds me so much of Steve Irwin.
I've been thinking the same thing. His enthusiasm and dedication and love for all animals.
Yes lol he is the only reason I watch Bondi Vet. I'm South African and we don't get this show on TV but when I saw it for the first time and I saw Tim I was instantly hooked! I now watch this show on UA-cam while I'm working everyday.
@@JoviReacts fun fact: Lisa Chimes was born in South Africa.
I agree! I had the same thought.
Yup,I like Tim's dedication, also Dr Andrew Marchevsky, I see him as the smiling surgeon, so good at what he does :)
The lady with the chickens is absolutely fabulous. I love her spunk and her chickens. They were the cutest thing.
Tim watching the chicks start eating and getting all excited about it is wholesome content.
Angus' face on the xray table was somehow hilarious 😆
Right?! Chillest dog ever!
The face of pure bemusement. “Not sure what’s going on, but it doesn’t hurt, so imma let it happen.”
Angus should have never been given that toy. It was too small for him, and easily swallowed. He needs bigger toys, and better supervision. Yeah, his expression was hilarious. (Jan Griffiths).
That's basically like us humans when we get x-rays and the tech takes too long so we awkwardly try to stay still 😅
Bearded dragon 101 don't house them together and 40 gallon in the bare minimum. Jesus Christ.
Those tanks were small... even for just 1 but for 2... no wonder one got aggressive
I've also never seen a bearded dragon in an enclosure that was taller than it is wide 🤔
Right?! People need to do their research before they get pets. Unbelievable.
Lisa Janine remember this is an old series probably information about bearded dragon we’re probably not much
pdciptawarna it was filmed 5 years ago not 10 years ago. Obviously they didnt do research.
PewPewCat yes!
When she said she has 28 animals I’m like oh no you don’t even know how to house a bearded dragon
coloring the silkie chickens is kind of a genius idea, considering they would likely be white, given how well they take the color. if they all stay the same color it's easier to tell them apart and keep track of their health.
Also could help protect them from harmful rays.
Coloring is funny. But maybe she give this chicken pneumonia because she is BATHING them :/
@@vissennav I don't think she bathes them in a very wet way though
@@vissennav I really doubt bathing and blow-drying would give them pneumonia. I've had chickens before, and especially Silkie's NEED an occasional bath if you want them to look any sort of presentable.
I’ve also heard that the dye can help protect birds from predators because it confuses them and makes the birds look less like prey
Chris, I love your pun: "This is a 'tale' with a happy ending," after you separated the two bearded lizards. What a perfect wrap!
Who let's a kid that young have 28 pets!? I'm a college student and I even I have limits when it comes to having pets. I only have 7 at max, which is rare.
Far_From_ Kin I had 50 pets most different species when I was eleven I am pretty much addicted to reptiles and amphibians so when he said she wasn’t the average 11 year old I cracked up laughing!
@@wendywalker9184 Isn't considered low-key animal hoarding? Because that seems like A LOT of animals for one house.
Far_From_ Kin, I’d say that if you can look after them all correctly then it’s fine, it’s when it gets too hard to look after them all is when you should consider stop getting more animals.
What are you babbling about.
@@dominosketch7175 ah ok
The girl and her parents definitely should have done some more research for the bearded and I hope most of those 28 pets are their fish
I love seeing Tim. He is so good with the animals and very sure of his decisions and I’m happy this turned out exactly as he hoped. It’s great how Dr. Chris takes time with each case to work it out properly. Lisa is so caring!!
Chrissy would be a great friend. I love her silky chickens. Shes a wonderful lady with a colorful heart the size of Texas. Shes too much fun. I am with her.....We need more color. God gave us these amazing colors.
Totally agree. Now if God gave us even more color that would be awesome!
@@sarahswanson2147 Think up new colours :D
I’m pretty sure color is different lengths of light waves and not something “God” gave us.
@@MCminer-gr4hx um.....God made light so ......🤷♀️ colors are a God thing!
Sophia Bultena Ok there’s no proof on whether or not God exists, I’m just stating what science has proven.
Angus’s eyes looked like “what have I done?” He looked so concerned. 😂
“Angus also suffers from severe epilepsy and needs to take medication twice a day to control it.”
Me: **has had epilepsy for the past four years, and needs to take medicine twice a day to control it** Same, though I’m starting it get lower dosages because I might out grow it.
I’m also glad Chris gave all the responsibility to the 11 year old girl and not the parents. They obviously didn’t parent her, otherwise she wouldn’t have 28 damn pets. It’s time someone shows children some responsibility about taking care of pets, especially exotic reptiles.
Spends 30 Minutes trying to pull the toy out, happy when they get it out.
*Puts it back in the cage with the dog who ate it*
Right? And the owners are like "he needs to treat 'Pet-Pet' better". 🙄 How about y'all keep small toys (and small objects in general) away from your accident-prone dog, so you don't have to be here a week later for the same thing.
@@Panda72021 ... Hi Anna & Luzie, I sure hope that the dog's owners will make this decision despite the fun, less direct way she went about suggesting it. I would have also skipped toy retrieval "step 1" of forced vomiting, since endoscopy would have been required with or without it, thanks to the x-ray. Either way, I find her not as cringe worthy as recommending a camera alone to show the girl with the bearded dragons without other suggestions like feeding them more insects. Or heck, just skipping how wrong that is and tell her, right then and there Zaza is being cannibalized and recommending diet/habitat changes.
They didn't put it IN the cage. They just hung it up on the outside. Plus, I'm pretty sure the owners got rid of it. I mean people are not as stupid as you think

How the hell did they get that dog to just lay still on the X-ray table without anyone there to hold him down? I'm amazed
I assume those are weighted bags they put on them. They must be pretty heavy
Yeah, I think they're like a weighted calming blanket -- they don't show up on the image so it's not like an x-ray vest.
They also mentioned Angus has been at the vet pretty regularly for his epilepsy, and he seems pretty calm. Compared to some of the other animal patients we've seen who are terrified of the new surroundings, to Angus the vet's office is old hat.
Drugs. That's how they got that dog to lay still. Lots of drugs. Lol. Puppy says boy do I feel funny. Probably benadryl IV.
I wonder that too when they do x rays
@@pewpewcat7679 Yes. They are the same as the lead aprons you get at the dentist office. The weight of the lead helps to relax them, and, because it's lead, prevents the radiation from getting to the thyroid and other organs that don't need irradiating to see.

I’ve gotta be honest, the opening scenes of Chris running always get me. So majestic and dramatic… bae watch is jealous

I soo love watching Bondi Vet ! I get sooo antsy waiting for the next one to appear ! ❤️❤️
Me me me
This bearded dragon case is infuriating. This kid has 28 animals and clearly they don’t even do proper research because the first thing you find when you research beardies is to keep them by themselves in a minimum 40gal tank. I have one chameleon who has kidney disease and I read every piece of information I could on caring for him
It’s not that they don’t do proper research, what If they just got it and brought it home the day before and then noticed what happen before they brought him in. Also, what if they do not have the money for a 40gal tank? Notice how Dr. Chris Is not hating on them. He’s talking calmly to them. Yes the girl has 28 pets but so what!! It’s good that she is learning! Pls don’t hate on her.
@@IsabelLopez-nv2so if you cannot afford the proper supplies, food, and vet visits for an animal you do not get an animal. That’s basic rule number one, or at least it should be. Because if you cannot provide those things it means you cannot give the animal the proper quality of life it deserves

If she really has 28 animals there is a high likelyhood that a good amount are not given the proper care when considering the enclosure and cohabitation of the beardies. I was so concerned the beardie was going to have some kind of blood infection that was causing her tail to fall off like that. I assumed they were knowledgeable owners (having 28 other pets) but the FIRST THING you should learn about any animal is how to house them. Now I'm just worried about the rest of their pets.
(I'm not faulting the 11 year old, I'm faulting the mother for not doing thorough research before getting her child a pet)
I owned a bearded dragon (he passed at the age of eight or nine, was abt a year or so when we got him) from the time I was nine till 17. I got a snake when I was ten for Christmas, so age for her isn't an excuse... he was smol, he's eight now. For BOTH of my pets, before my parents even considered getting me them. I had to do the research myself, the lightening, food, water, tank size, everything, I also paid for the reptile themselves, while my parents paid for the tank and lighting. DO YOUR FUCKING RESEARCH.
Tsukiko Suzuki exactly I’ve owned guinea pigs parakeets and leopard geckos and now fostering animals and not once have we had a problem with their health because we have done extensive research.

@@lokilockness2970 I'm really suprised that Australia doesn't seem to have legislation or licensure for cats (especially) since feral cats are such a problem for native wildlife there. Dogs too, but from the research I've done cats seem to be really bad.

Beardies are not meant to be housed together.
Gosh it does make me a little mad how this little kid is allowed so many pets, but it’s obvious she’s not doing sufficient research. Dr Chris is so much more polite than I could ever have been
he shouldve pulled the mom aside to tell her shes giving an 11 year old way too many lives to be responsible for
Half this episode was about eating friends XD
Tim gives me Steve Irwin vibes. He's so enthusiastic
If that beardie is housed in a small tank with another beardie with bare minimum, imagine the living conditions of all the other animals in that house.
A beardie should have an open enclosure with matting, hides, and foliage to make them feel less threatened. As well as supplied heating. Which should be a AUTOMATIC know.
I'm sure mum's intentions are good, but it seems she's entertaining her daughter's interest in animals. Nothing wrong with that, but it has to come with some research and responsibility. An 11yo can't keep up with it all on her own.
This is why you don't give dogs toys that are small enough for them to swallow or choke on..
How about you don’t get at the dog for doing when you are the one that you gave him the toy.
Exactly
I love when they go to the reptile park...I swear Tim is the reincarnation of Steve Irwin...LOVE HIM...LOL.

Maybe Steve was Tim's inspiration? (Jan Griffiths).
Everyone talking out bearded dragons while i'm here just being amazed at the chickens
... Sooooo, they're gonna' keep giving the dog toys too small for it?
sadly, some of these shows seem to be a collection of things Not to do with your pets. it's still educational, but... eyah, can be kinda painful to watch.
Yep because they're COMPLETE IDIOTS!!! 🤦🏻♀️
If he's so special why continue risking his life? Yes, dogs understand English " pets are not food." The vet needed to say," DO NOT GIVE YOUR DOG(S) TOYS SMALL ENOUGH TO BE SWALLOWED!" It is part of her JOB! It's sad they seem not to get that on their own.
yeah, there needs to be a school about animals so ppl know what to do if they get a pet or more. It's frustrating to see how uneducated ppl are because some ppl don't know that there are ppl that don't know how to take care of their pets
Bearded dragons bullying one another as well as juvenile aggression is extremely common and that’s why they suggest they be housed alone. My father in law made the mistake of buying 3 beardies as babies and they were all housed together at the pet store, so he assumed they would grow up together and be fine. My boyfriend and I and the pet store clerk all told him it was not a good idea to buy all 3 and house them together. He didn’t listen and one of them ended up thriving and growing to be huge but bullied the other two. The other two both lost a foot, and though they are all separated now, the two that got bullied are are 3x smaller than the one who bullied them, extremely skinny, mean to people, and on the verge of death. Then my boyfriend and I have our bearded dragon who is fully grown and raised the correct way and is the most calm and easy tempered dragon ever. He is so sweet and thriving and it just shows the difference in proper care and knowing little things that don’t seem important, but they are.
My granddaughter named me ZahZah when she was18 mos old. She called me Zazie for years and now at 13 yrs old calls me, “oh, Zaz!” It works. I’m a Zaz.
Haha
Bruh she loves her chickens so much : ( I’m gonna cry man
Angus has the best life! Even though this may not have been his best day ever ☺️ Also, I love that instead of a lecture, Zaza ‘s owner gets the chance to learn what’s going on with her lizards and separate them (you could say that “everybody knows” not to keep their dragons together, but people only know things once they learn them!)
i get what you're saying, but she should have learned that BEFORE she put an animal's life in danger
Dr. Chris and Dr. Lisa are my favorite doctors
I love this show. It has a little bit of everything and I can see children of all ages enjoying it.
I had a bearded dragon, and he was in a very big enclosure, he was quite active, so it was high, and wide, I understand that the bearded dragon was small.. I reckon that little one will be quite active in the future, and maybe twice the size of the tank it's in now.. Will be good..
Yeah Bearded Dragons are defiantly not supposed to be housed together. 😬
I was impressed that someone felt motivated to wash "Pet-pet" after it was fished out of Angus' stomach, but laying near his mouth again was tempting fate!
Why would you give a super small toy to a medium sized dog? That makes no sense 🤦♀️
It could’ve been his toy since being a baby, I feel bad for his parents because they probably didn’t expect that. I haven’t watched the whole thing yet so I could be wrong 🤷🏻
Who says it was his toy? During my childhood, our dog ate a hacky sack because she grabbed it out of the air while my brother was playing with it. Don’t automatically jumped to the conclusion that they are stupid when it easily could be an accident with a kids toy.
@@mimimary16 Because they told us the toy's name was Pet-Pet (the pet's pet) in the lead-in. They probably did give it to him when he was little. But it might be a good idea to see if they can find him a larger version of Pet-Pet now that he's bigger and older.
I love how they've include Tim and dr Andrew more
And I just love Bondi vet in general
That moment when you cant tell the owner apart from the chickens
😁😁😁
Okay but the way the cameraman got the door slammed in his face by Chris when he hearded the chickens in- I'm DEAD
I have to watch this show everyday or my day doesn't feel right. I love Lisa, and Andrews cases. Dr. Brown is funny and really caring. It's just the perfect combination. Than we get to see other animals that aren't so common plus learn about them from Tim.
My friend had gotten two bearded dragons from a pet store. For a few weeks they were fine, but after a while he noticed one was getting much larger than the other. Then one day I get a call. He asked if dragons were known for escaping. Nope. Not really. Well, turns out, the larger dragon ATE THE SMALLER ONE. Don’t house your reptiles together people, just no.
Honestly absolutely shame on this mom for not making her daughter do research on bearded dragons - or doing it herself - before committing to taking care of living animals!
This was my first time seeing inside the stomach and its not at all what i expected. Okay not gonna lie it was actually really satisfying too watch the toy come out! My dream is too be a vet.
When the chicks started eating i became happy and i was starting too cry i could feel my eyes watering up 😂😂😂
Tim, you’re my hero for saving and raising the 2 endangered chicks! They’re so CUTE! Great job!
They forgot to tell Angus that "Pet-pets are friends, not food."
I have a beardie named Toothless and we got her because she lived in an enclosure with anouther beardie who did the same thing a rose did to zaazaa and the other owner put her up for adoption so that she did not get too hurt.
We need a vet like Dr. Chris in my rural country, so badly...
I don't want to act like I haven't made mistakes with reptiles in the past as a kid, but honestly that's why seeing sickly reptiles frustrates me even more. Because I have first-hand experience.
(Pfff who wants a stupidly long comment? No one? too bad.)
When I was in 2nd grade, I wanted a bearded dragon, or at least I thought I wanted one. And dad got one for me. Actually, he got two, because it's kinda a equality thing with my sister. But mine got sick, and weak, and he brought it back to Dave, the guy who ran the pet shop, and... well... he got another one. Aaaaan adult. Who then proceeded to bully the other one. So dad gave that baby back too. And then it actually wasn't before long before he gave back the adult, because I wasn't handling him so much... for a few reasons really. Sure, the selfish thing of that I didn't mean to have an impulse buy, but they were. And then also that his claws were sharp and his body more pokey, and he was uncomfortable for me, at least kid me, to handle.
I feel endlessly guilty for it. I wish that dad had been like "okay, but you have to learn how to take care of it, and then you have to do it", but he took it on. And I also hate how when I was a kid, I thought that Dave ran a good joint, but the truth is, is that like so many pet stores, his practices were flawed. And I was a kid who didn't really know better, besides the fact that hey we got to have a new animal around (dad was going to handle the care). I don't want to make my dad out to be some kind of neglectful monster, but I also think that there are times that, as a grown adult, he should have put more thought into some of the pets he has gotten over time.
As an early teen (btw dad and mom divorced when I was 9, so dad wasn't an influence with this part), I really wanted a ball python, and mom made a deal with me that I could get one so long I knew how to take care of it, would take care of it, and did work over time to buy the supplies myself. And then, at like 13, I got Hammurabi. I genuinely did love him, but it turned out that a ball python wasn't necessarily the best fit for me, as handling his tank set up, humidity, and that I did have to feed him live food because he wouldn't respond to thawed (which was a problem because I like mice and rats), were a cause of stress. And then, there was a point where my sister got a bird, and some other stuff was happenin' and focusing on Hammurabi as much as I felt like I should be didn't really happen. So, I gave him away, to a family who was very experienced, and though it was a moment of shame, and the guilt will always remain, I am far more glad to have admitted when I wasn't right for an animal, and did right by that animal even though I had had him for a few years and was emotionally attached.
For a long time, though I have always like reptiles, I didn't think there seemed to be a reptile that I should try having again, because I didn't want to repeat my past mistakes. But, after a dear cat of mine passed away, I wasn't ready to get another cat, but am the sort of person who has always needed a personal animal. I found what I needed in Sausage Baldrick, my blue tongue skink. Though he has an odd jaw, and the base of his tail is a zig-zag on X-ray, but I have received confirmation from a vet that these deformities are not from something I have caused, and are just a harmless abnormality. Thankfully, they don't effect his quality of life at all. He just looks like he has a weird lip, and a asymmetrical tail base. That was the first time he went to the vet. The second time was when I failed to get off a thin ring of shed that had lodged itself between his toe scales on one of his hands, and though I have given him baths before during sheds, and carefully try to pick at his toes (he's very friendly but does NOT want me messing with them, and he makes it hard because I'm so scared of hurting the delicate little fingers) when shed clings on, I am ashamed to admit that things went so bad as that he had to lose the tip of his toe. But this has made me even more determined, and it's also easier for me to recognize and know what I see and what I'm doing. Balders is such a sweet little thing. I struggled with self doubt for the first year or so I had him, but he's such an endearing little thing. He turned 3 this year, and I plan for him to have 20 more years of charming people.
I have nightmares about him though, and frequently. They'll never stop. Anxiety disorder is a pain.
Look, kids, and parents of kids, I GET it... but it's best to do everything in your power to avoid being cursed with the shame of knowing what has happened to an animal because of you. Because if you actually love animals, you WILL hurt when you become wiser.
I was cringing too.
Also... if there's even a suspicion that one might be harming the other (which I'm not surprised about looking at the enclosure) then separate them. Especially when they're little, most vets can't do anything to help a juvenile reptile or at least in my experience it's hard to help them once they're really struggling and sick/hurt. Why risk it?
But I'm really a bit shocked that the enclosure type was supported by a vet... he should have said something to them
Wow that was a lot.
@@pewpewcat7679 It's really frustrating when I'm watching vet shows, and I recognize something bad about the care of a reptile, but the vet doesn't bring it up. Yeah, I get that you can't shout at a client and whatever because you gotta keep a certain level of, like, whatever makes them willing to return if there are more issues... but like I was watching one show, and the person was using sand substrate and I'm just... *INHUMAN SCREECHING*
Honestly though, I think what bothers me the most is when stuff like this happens to pets, and the people really don't even act all that disturbed. Like, the kid was all smiley and whatever, and sure I might not have been crying, but I would have been super anxious. Like, excuse me, people, this lizard's body has been changed permanently, and was in pain, and y'all just chill??
@@abbiemurphy2578 I'm a friggin' weirdo, I have a bad habit of leaving long UA-cam comments because apparently I just like to see myself talk... but I admit, this was definitely one of the longer ones. But at the same time, I think sharing stories can be important. Yeah, it can be a lot of reading, but I think it's good to acknowledge our mistakes, because it gives us more reason to push to be better people.
Also kills me to see the substrate they’re using....that stuff almost killed one of the beardies we took in years ago. Poor thing never kicked the infection she got from getting constipated. Thankfully it was able to be managed well enough that she wasn’t in any pain. Unfortunately, it damaged her eyesight the first time it flared up. Wouldn’t have been as much of a pain if she hadn’t been as stubborn as she was. XD she LIKED food but DID NOT like being babied. Thankfully her bestie she cane with liked to sit on her head when he ate, so her face was usually right there in the food so we rarely had to hand feed her. We also learned pretty quick that to her, fingers looked like meal worms. So. That was a fun lesson. :I
Both beardies lived very long, happy, full lives until they got old. The female sadly stopped processing her food, and the male got cancer a few months later, but if I’m remembering right they lived past the life expectancy for beardies.
Nowadays I have a cat. Had some betas for a while (had QUITE the adventure with one’s constant digestive issues no matter what I fed him, but I figured things out with him). It’ll probably be a while before I get any fish again. My cat is still somewhat kitten and might see the fish and try to eat them. Once she’s outgrown her kitten behavior, and is more chill cat (hopefully XD idk she could stay a spazz I would not mind either way!), maybe I’ll get betas again. We’ll see.
Those chicks are so cute!! Tim did a great job :)
That girl is so spoiled. I'm not sure why they bothered to set up the camera, I'd just separate them. I don't know much about bearded dragons, but those tanks seemed a bit small to me.
Edit to fix typos lol.
Amanda Harker
Well for babies it should be fine I think. When they get bigger how ever massive stunts will happen.
Those tank were way too small and way too tall for those poor beardies
for a baby its seems like a pretty decent cage, you anyways dont want to keep a baby in an adult sized beardies tank because you will have a hard time finding them. but as they get bigger you'll need to upgrade otherwise they end up being stunted
@@Hafumi it's not that hard to find 20 gallon long tanks, they're one of the most used tanks for reptiles and aren't even that expensive also beardies are terrestrial so they should have much more ground room than vertical space
My spell check does that to me, changes the word sometimes when it's already correct! I feel you...
The reason they took the dragon to the doctor is because they never saw what was causing the issue, and assumed it was caused by an illness. They did the right thing.
So glad to ;hear that he will NOT leave brother and sister together, and instead, find mates for each one of them. Too much inbreeding as it is, in many species. Thank-you for your concern and care of the animals in your care. KUDDOS!
Are you talking about the lizards? Because they are too young to breed.
@@the_Otherland_Floof they will eventually get older
@@the_Otherland_Floof nope the little baby chicks
That frilled lizard at the Australian Reptile Park looks so cool.
The real thing that got saved this episode was Pet Pet!
Always great to see a vet encouraging a young child to put an animal in a tank that is way too small for it. Glad we are teaching people to neglect their animals that they got with zero research
Never expect vets to know anything outside of cats and dogs.
@@chasedbyvvolves9256 As someone who owns birds, rats, mice, lizards, frogs and various insects i agree wholeheartedly. I learnt this lesson ages ago with my dogs when my old girl would sometimes drop to the ground and scream in pain and the vets told us it was just a cruicered ligament and would cause her no pain. Vets, like doctors, are very falliable. But for such a high profile vet to miss the mark by such a high margin on a relatively simple question when he feels qualified to assess peoples suitability to purchase pigs as pets (which he also failed at but at least there he tried to explain it was a bad idea), maybe he needs to do a little research on the animals he goes see, especially since the zoos seem to call him in often to treat their reptiles
The sick silky hits close to home for me, my one 2 and a half year old rat got sick and is breathing like that as well, he’s also really weak..
He’s getting his second batch of antibiotics now since the first didnt work but its sadly not getting better and its already been 4 days.
He’s just so old i doubt he’ll make it but he’s still fighting!
Wish him luck please
Edit: sad update but for anyone wondering im gonna let him be put to sleep tomorrow, he’s just way too weak and itd be cruel to let him continue suffering, its already been way too long..
Sorry for your loss 🙏❤️
you're a good fur-parent. it's easy to be there when everything's going right. but the true test of love is dealing with the hard stuff.
yes, i'd say you're a good fur-parent.
When Rosa lucked Zaza's tail, I gasped "ROSA! You naughty lizard!" 😂😂
Lisa gets slept on. I love Lisa, she’s my favorite
I love and admire all these vets. They are amazing! God bless all of them 🙏🙏❣️
Angus looks so miserable right after vomiting. Poor doggo!
DONT EVER HAUSE 2 LIZARDS IN THE SAME TERAIUM!!!!!!!
You can. One example is for breeding purposes. Bearded dragons are often kept in little groups, but are good alone too. Just don't have two males in one terrarium, they are quite territorial. So one male and the rest females or only females.
The desert night lizard even lives in family groups in the wild.
But it depends on the character of the reptile too if they are capable to live with others.
Another example is for sales at pet stores, or even at thine you can house babies together, you just have to be careful.
Don’t*
House*
Terrarium*
They can be housed together. As long as they’re being closely monitored, are together as babies, and don’t seem to show extreme anger towards each other; they’ll be ok.
Unless the cage is huge
What about when it comes to breeding then?
Watching this show makes my life a better place!!!
2:49 omg im certain this was recorded years ago because that looks like a McDonald's Nintendo dogs happy meal toy. I had a collection as a kid an one of them looked like that...
Ahhh memories
You guys do make my world a better place as the intro says 😁
He said to separate them and they still didnt until he got proof
My cat comes running into the room as soon as she hears the opening theme song or the voices of the vets!
''She went to chuck heaven''
So holesome :)

ml_ne I said chuck on purspose, but thanks for correcting anyways
Purple Unicorn chook?
"Heeree comes the drooling!" 😂😂😂
those chickens are the cutest and bestest bestest most wonderful animal ive seen on Bondi Vet
Those chicks look so fancy and their owner seems like an amazing, whimsical person
"you make my world a better place....................I CAN DEPEND ON YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU............ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....I CAN DEPEND ON YOUUUUUU" i fricken' love it i sing it everytime!
angus is sooooooooooo cute omg look at his lil eyebrows awwwwwwww
The puppy was so sweet. What an angel.
what happened to the yelllow chick?:3
Its been a pretty sad but colorfull meal
Seriously, did the yellow silky chicken get better or? That's the one thing I don't like about this amazing show, no updates on some of the animals. Some of us want to know the good, the bad, and things in between. Updates please!

I LOVE those chicks! And that they aren't getting hurt! Purfect!!! Make a purple one!!!
Lol the mom "I see one sitting on top of the other and if they were fighting I wouldn't think they would do that"
Uh, yes they would. That is exactly what they do when they are asserting dominance and competing. The one laying on top of the other is taking all of the heat and UVB from the other and bullying them. These people know nothing about beardie care.
You’re not the only one who is addicted to Bondi Vet I am addicted to Bondi Vet as well
the bearded dragon case was so frustrating. my FIRST thought when I heard what the problem was was that the husbandry was wrong, and would you look at that, I was right
I'm glad Chris taught the little girl that these Bearded Dragons should not be housed together, I dearly hope that they are going to upgrade those enclosures by quite a bit though as they are way too small even for a baby Bearded Dragon
