- Dr Chris Brown travels to Cairns to help out the Marlin Coast Veterinary Hospital. His first patient is a young dog has had a nasty encounter with a hedge cutter. His next patient is a turtle which was found by the side of the road after being hit by a car. Resulting in a massive crack across its shell. At SASH a distressed Cormorant has been brought in with a fish hook stuck in its chest. The emergency team are concerned about how the injured bird will handle the anaesthetic. Meanwhile, specialist surgeon at SASH Dr Steve Fernside is volunteering with a mobile community clinic called Pets in the Park. The charity helps support homeless people and their pets.

My daily doze of bondivet ❤️
Watching bondivet is part of my morning routine now
Mine too I just woke up and it's 9:44am
Me too im really sad this ended in 2016
J a z 😂
Me to I love this show it's a shame they took it away I love chris he is a amazing vet!!!!!
@@saitomanga123 theres new episodes tho
We thought my dog had the kneecap issue because he would limp on walks sometimes so we would carry him. We later figured out he was scared of construction cones and would limp so we would carry him.
😄😄😄
Hahahah
maximum laziness
Smart dog!
Are we really the smart ones? 🤣
"and then we put her back where we found her... but not on the road" Xavier is a good little guy
I laughed when they little boy said " can you put her back where we found her...but not on the road" he is so sweet to think to release her back into the wild, but I also just imaged them putting it back in the middle of the road.
Sweet little boy haha
This is an invaluable
help for the homeless
person's pet!🙂
I liked his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle t-shirt!!🐢
Am I the only one who felt pain, when the owner startet rubbing the newly stitched nose
I was thinking that too, why would he do that
lauralbfl he could done that due to muscle memory maybe he pets the dog a lot near the nose?
If it was painful, his dog would have turned his head away or kicked back very sharply. She doesn't, so I think it doesn't hurt her.
Yeah, it seemed pretty unnecessary...since she just had stitches. :/
Not only that, he was like pulling at it! I cringed SO hard! It was literally JUST stitched back together! And hes pulling up on her nose as if to see if its actually stitched. Ugh!
I had to immediately pause and tell my husband our husky is no longer allowed outside while he's doing yard work with dangerous tools.😢
awe.
But nice job! Keeping your doggo safe,
I would need to do that with my two puppies too. They are so curious
Should be common sense to never have animals or kids outside when doing things. As mowing lawn. With mower, grass/hedge trimmer. As not haveing things as tools, knives out in open andbleft there. Kid or animal can do dangerous things withnthem. To self or others.
I'm a 24 year old man and I always come check the comment section before I start the video to make sure an animal isn't going to die.
I seen quite a few episodes, and so far, I can only recall two animals that didn't make it. I still cried for both of them.
Awww....
Same. The first time I saw bondivet I was caught by surprise at a little dog not making it. Since then- ALWAYS check the comments. My heart isn't equipped for that type of unexpected sorrow via youtube
Thanks for the heads up. There are some days when 🤔 i just can't take a sad 😞 story.
@@kyrstenhoffman5756 I saw the headline about the rabbit who made babies in 30 seconds what they left out was the rabbit dies during a neuter nobody was at fault Scott was devastated I adore and would never blame him I just am glad I read the comments first also there was another about a tiger with a toothache and in that same episode an animal dies I forget now which one it was but it was my fault for going ahead with it and there was one where the cat did not live through tylenol posion and the recent one with Fatti the dog and to think I actually wanted to do this job when I was a small child there is no way I am emotionally equipped for that
Dr. Chris asking for spare bra clips was absolutely HILARIOUS!!! 😂
That one nurse was all set to make her contribution. Good thing for her he got a better idea before she'd even left the room.
You gotta do what you gotta do for your patient when your a veterinarian
I laughed so hard when Chris asked about the bra clips. He was soool embarrassed when she said “I could take mine off,” turned beet red 🤣🤣
Pets in the Park is such a wonderful project for people whose only companion is their pets ❤️
Yes it is!! Also 100th like

@@Eowynnofrohan the fact that your pets love you means that you are a caring and empathic person who takes good care of them. Don’t give up on yourself ❤️
And its also great for, you know, the animals themselves?
Am I the only one who get addicted to Bondi vet during this quarantine?
Definitely not.
Can't stop
I was addicted before Q happened in the US.....Its absolutely amazing!!!!
I have watched a long time ago and thought it was boring. But now in quarantine I’m watching it ALL
Nope.
Was happy to see the pets with the homeless pet parents getting veterinary care. I’m not homeless but my dogs are my everything, and vet care is/can be pricey, so that these incredible veterinarians and organizations are helping the homeless in this manner has to mean the world to them. 🙏🏻 🙏🏻
I had to put down my little GS pup, she had been ran over by a car. It cost us $2,000 to put her to sleep.

My favorite part of these shows is when Chris rigs a solution to help an ill or injured animal...the McGiver of the animal world!
Pets in the Park programs are so important! For many people experiencing homelessness, their pets keep them safe. I'd love to see more of this program on Bondi Vet!
The thing I love about Bondi Vet is they let the animals--pets or wild--be themselves. They don't try to ramp up the danger by agitating the animals like other Australian animal hosts I could name.
Your not talking about the Erwin’s right?
There's a rescue in the states that actually uses the hook & eye (AKA bra) clips to fix turtle shells. They ask for donations of old bras and use the clips from those.
Where is that? I’m in NM but have some I would donate for that awesome project
Carolina Waterfowl Rescue was one of them, as is Wildthunder rescue in Iowa...though I think there are more now
Everyone deserves a home and the ability to take care of their pets.
I don't know why you're saying this. Probably something in this episode.
I just started it.
There are people who deserve to suffer and never have pets.
People like that deserve no home, no ability to have pets and to suffer horrendously.
Discrocrisvo I agree..
@Sampiro Locke How could some of them pay for it if they don't have a job and cant work due to illness or disability? You are saying if someone does not have any money they should be ignored and left on the street with nothing and no one to help them? Hope one day you don't find yourself out of work or with no family to support you.
The turtle shell fixing was extremely interesting. Good job, Dr. Chris! I also really liked the Vet who got the hook out of the bird. And I am so glad that you all have Pets in the Park. The Vet who helped the dogs is wonderful!
[nods] i actually thought maybe he'd go with some industrial glue and that spackle-like stuff they're always advertising on cable... flexi-seal or some such. i know it has to be at least Semi-non-toxic but i would think some of the stuff they use to make water tight medical casts would have worked. obviously, i'm no vet or med Anything. it was just a thought. [shrugs]
and i loved the Pets in the Park part. it's nice to know that not only have the people not been forgotten but Neither have the furry friends that help keep them mentally healthier been.
@@kstormgeistgem461 even with human bones sometimes casts are not enough. You need something to actually hold the bones together and all kinds of metal gear are used for that purpose.
I love when Chris goes guest-vetting! He has some creative solutions and it's great to see! Bra clips for female turtle Donna would have been too normal - glad the craft store lady gave Chris an option that was even better Steve donating homeless dog time was great to see as well. I've gotten a better glimpse of the new vets and I think they are doing great! I'm in Florida in the United States - I'm sure we're probably behind in episodes but I always look forward to new ones. Thanks!
Agreed 💛
At 12.25 sweet LITTLE boy saying To Chris well "when u fix her up can u bring her back here so we can take her back to where we found her and put her back but not near the road! " What a very caring compassionate sensible child!
Chris talking about the turtle being a difficult patient under anaesthesia sounded just like what the doctor said to me had my wisdom teeth pulled XD
Even if your k.o.'ed. Your body can still fight back at who ever is trying to help you. As you bite on the docs fingers, hand.
Vets r giving free treatments to the homeless people's pets r heart melting , n please give updates of the patients like this turtle who r kept under follow up treatments n will be going back to the wild later, this channel gives hopes for relief from the sufferings of the non-humans who don't have language like we humans have to say where it's paining. 💞🌸💞🌸💞🌸💞
Surgical strength tissue glue....
*Applies Crazy Glue*
Gorilla glue kidding don’t it’s just I’ve seen so many freaking ads of it
AnimePabu i mean technically that kinda glue really does the job even on humans (assuming crazy glue is the same thing as super glue)
I got super glue on my finger once. Pressed my thumb and index finger together just to see how strong it was, and made myself bleed by pulling them apart. This was seconds after it got on my finger in the first place. Not all glue is ‘all use glue,’ some of it means serious business.
I’ve seen the same glue at mega saver
Border collies are usually smart... but I guess there’s one in every family...and this one tried to attack a moving hedge trimmer.
My Shetland sheepdog thought he could catch and herd airplanes in the sky.....soooo yeah, there is always one in every litter that is a little weird
I’m glad my dogs are smart enough to stay inside or avoid us when we use electric tools, we try to make sure they avoid going outside when we are using power tools or when we are practicing with throwing knives, my two chihuahuas get scared when we practice with the throwing knives and don’t come outside unless they really need to. But my husky likes to walk up to us just as we are about to throw the knife and sniff it. I had to wait 20 minutes to go back to throwing the knives because she refused to go back inside lol

My siblings and I saved a Canadian goose who had a severely infected foot with fishing line wrapped around it. Turns out when the wildlife rehabbers did an xray she also has a bullet in her wing. I called her Hellen and she is back at the river I found her at. She had a very protective mate. It's so good to see her happy and healthy!
I would like to see more of the homeless animals and their owners
I dont think an animal can be homeless with an owner unless the owner is homeless...

I watch it ALL DAY AND NIGHT LONG and get WAY behind on my house work but trying to bendge watch all of them ASAP.
I’m pretty sure I’ve watched all the episodes currently available. 😀
It is so awesome that they go above and beyond by sometimes going to the animal/reptile in need and treat injured wild animals, not just those domesticated. These folks are my heroes!!!
At this point I'm nearly 100% positive I've watched every video on this channel. It's genuinely so addicting lmaoo
Thank you for pets in the park. The homeless are so often ignored or treated as less than, so are their pet buddies.
Love how Dr. Chris is so creative when he figures how fix injuries. Glad vet got the hook out. Awesome show.
I think my favorite fix on Bondi Vet was the fix for the kitten whose back leg was bending the wrong way ..... Super Vet to the rescue figured out how to fix it rather than amputate.
Chris is so handsome, loving and caring ❤❤
Aww the older boy who found the turtle looks so sad
I hope the turtle ends up ok by the end of this for the kids sake
Love how dedicated Chris is. Even just 5-10 dollars or maybe even more he’s got it. And is willing to do whatever
Wow...what an amazing video once again. Never would have thought u could save a turtle with bra hooks. I'm n jus complete awww. So happy for the turtle and so proud of yall. On behalf of Donna and All the other animals..."Thank u for all that u do". Bless u all.
Chris is the only one who made my heart skip a beat. He is so caring, loving to the animals. The best vet in the world. Would love to talk to him ❤
Me too! I've been fortunate ENOUGH to meet Orlando Bloom John Travolta but not Dr.Chris and I live in Australia! 💕🥰

The most beautiful vet in the world, so caring, resourceful, loving ❤
Thank you Bondi Vet for caring so much. New fan in the U.S. I watch daily.
Lov this show but where did Lisa go? So use to seeing her in every episode
I"m not really sure when this episode aired, and imdb's not helping (Dr Andrew Marchevsky is listed with more credits than dr Chris!!) but I know she had some babies and tha'ts a pretty reasonable time to take some time off. No idea how that fits into the timeline, but keep in mind that the episodes we're seeing originalyl aired a few years ago
I know in 2018 Dr. Chris decided to back down from being the main vet from the tv show. He's still a vet there but just rarely camera time. Maybe the same happened with Dr. Lisa..
There was one episode in which she was pregnant. Don't remember the year but maybe she's taking time off to care for her little one.
Melted my hurt ,helping the homeless pooch
Dr. Chris is so amazing the way he helped that turtle. Beautiful beautiful
I love your show. I laughed when Chris asked for bra clips. LOL.
Lol I did too but he is pretty smart to come up with things so quickly and to have those ideas work!
Bondi vet is amazing, all the vets are so awesome!
I just wish I could watch every episode and season they upload but when I go to open some of them all I get is a message stating this isnt available in your country.
Yes the are so amazing and if I would have work there u probably will be amazing to

The vets who are helping the homeless people’s pets are awesome all vets should help homeless people’s pets
Would have loved to see Donna's healed shell. Great stories!
This episode with the fresh water turtle 🐢 is marvelous, i like the way Chris gets crafty with ideas to help the animals in medical need.
the young lad with the TMNT t-shirt is so damn adorable
Misty the Border Collie is really smart as well as incredibly loving ❤ & forgiving, in my opinion. She's the angel Danny needs in his life.
Border Collies are the best dogs.
Pets in the Park is such a wonderful initiative. I love Bondi Vet. Thank you for sharing this! ❤️✨
It’s so awesome Chris volunteers to help out other vet clinics and rescues and whoever needs help, with whatever needs to be done. It has to be so interesting being a vet in Australia when you not only take care of domestic animals but all sorts of Australian wildlife. To need to know how to treat so many varieties of animals but also quite exciting! I wish we had vets like him and other such vets that take such good care of the animals and owners in the US but here it’s all about money. They even charge to go to the home. I’m envious of the great care they get
this was an interesting and painful session to watch. Poor Dr. Chris Brown, getting bitten twice. Will we know if the turtle has survived? I do hope so.
It's not lockdown but I am binge watching Bondi Vet since the past week & am lovin it !!!!!! These vets are just so amazing.....❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Genius is solving problems outside the box! You guys do it all the time. True geniuses!!
I can depend on you, Bondi Vet, to make my mondays a better place. (It's monday night at Brazil :P )

I binged this show the last few days, so thanks to Bondi vet for helping me relax at least a little bit during the worst stomach flu ever.
The program for people in the park, helping their pets, these people don’t have a home never mind the money to pay for vet fees ! God Bless those who give their time and those who donate to this wonderful program !
So glad it has the original song amd we dont have to hear about dead animals the entire begging.

Glad Donna's shell is fixed and has chance to heal. Chris is very creative. I wish they have something for homeless people and their fur babies here. Take vet care to the streets.
It’s cute how Chris talks to his animal patients
I can't help but wonder if the turtle's clips may rust when exposed to water :0
it shouldn't - because those clips are meant to go on clothes and they would be quite useless if they rust after going in the wash. But I think they are only temporarily though, as they will snag on stuff on the ground and she needs a smooth shell, so hopefully it will heal up and the clips and wire will be removed :)
This is just my 3rd daily dose of bondi and km still gonna keep going !
I am so amazed at some of the amazing things he thinks of to help the animals.
Who would have thought that trouser hooks/eyes could be used to fix a turtle shell... As often as I use them for sewing, I will think of this when I make another set of slacks. Awesome fix, Dr Chris!
I get sad when the episode of Bondi Vet ends
because it's too good
Here in the U.S. animals are almost always taken away from homeless people. You guys are GREAT
Wildlife rescue groups here in Eastern North Carolina have used bra clips to mend turtle shells, usually with Eastern Box Turtles that have been hit by cars as they cross the road. In fact, they sent out a call for donations of old, worn bras just for the clips. They use super glue to attach the clips and piano wire to pull the clips together.
We've repaired turtle shells with epoxy putty. There's one kind that does not heat up so much when it's mixed (most of them get REALLY hot). But it's two play-doh textured putties that, when mixed, will get incredibly hard.
Ahhhh “it was very muddy” explains the girls lack of shoes😎😉♥️♥️♥️
THANK GOODNESS AND THANK YOU DR. CHRIS
I love watching you guys work your magic on all the animals, y'all are great at what you do!!!!!😘
THANK YOU DR. CHRIS
I just love this show. Such compassionate professionals
Great show. Love everything about it.
I have been waiting all day for this
I saw the y=title and was very surprised the dog wasn't far worse off...
One of the best things about Dr Brown is his inventiveness, willingness & flexibility plus, his tenacity when it comes to treating any creature that needs his help. He's just an amazing vet. A true warrior for all creatures of every kind.
I love the help and respect they give to the homeless community
Does other cities in first world countries have these wonderful charitable programs. I am blown away. We have some charities in the townships who have programs to help out with the extreme poor people with animals. But it's mostly ensures that the animals get rabies shots. Many people have been bitten and died from rabies.
Excellent jobs today--the turtle shell, the bird, the homeless pets!!
You are all amazing Vets ❤
Bondi Vets makes my day and night. I smile and cry but you make my whole day.
