    Your reaction at 7:58 was so genuine and priceless! Moments like this is one reason why I ride and encourage folks to join the sport! Pete I have to say this is one of my favorite videos by far! 😂 Perhaps I'm being a bit biased right now because we are able to do a collaboration and you premiered me on your channel! But no in all seriousness this was an amazing episode! The video was awesome from start to finish! Your reaction to the accident was by far more then I could ever ask for! At the moment the Raptor started rolling over you were concerned as if I was your own brother 🤜🤛 I appreciate your humble hospitality and ensuring that I was 100% okay! For those who have been asking if I was okay on Pete's channel and on mine I appreciate your concerns and I have to say I'm doing well. Initially, at the time of impact I felt as if I hit the ground so hard on the left shoulder and arm that surely I had broken something. If you watch me closely on Pete's video you'll see me stretch my arm in and out a few times trying to determine if anything was broken. I was stunned for a moment but after a few minutes I regained my composure and pushed on I was sore for a few days but other than that nothing more! The quad on the other hand took a beating. Cosmetically it didn't look like too much was wrong and in fact when you watched the video it only looks as if the handlebars damaged, however, I ended up bending the frame, busting the headlights, destroying the handlebars, and ruining the radiator... I have since spent many hours and $$$ getting the quad back together as if it had never been in an accident. It looks better than ever! 🤘

    One clear advantage dirtbikes have, less chance a rider will get wrapped up into one if they go down, also less opportunity for controls and bars to get all twisted/bent up. Also leaning is a natural function where on a quad leaning is something you're always fighting with extreme body movement.

    • @ball7411
      @ball7411 4 роки тому +1

      Lifted_Above but a disadvantage is that you need to keep that balance, not only that, you also stop slower in a dirtbike other than a quad with all brakes front and rear although it is true that that’s an advantage

    • @FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL
      @FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL 4 роки тому +1

      Yes, I agree with you! As I hit the ground I remember thinking that I needed to get up quickly incase it landed on me, however, after watching the footage had it landed at my final resting place I would have never been able to get up quickly enough as it would have already landed on me.

    Awesome meet up!! I definitely don't care for riding on alot of workout whoops! Lol I actually cringed and hollered out loud for a second when Gary flipped his quad. I hate to see that happen with anyone, but I'm glad he was ok and the bike wasn't too badly damaged! He definitely did the right thing to get right back on and keep ripping so fear didn't creep in! As I've said before, if ya ride, you gone take at least one good spill! That loud 2020 lime green color does look good! But, yeah, Keep em coming Pete! We locked in! 💯💪

      Terrell Spivey i definitely censored my reaction a bit, I was freakin out at first because I didn’t know if he was hurt. From my perspective he seemed like he hit the ground pretty hard. Lol things is, if he hadn't of already told us that it happened while riding with you causing me to expect it to happen, I probably would have freaked out even the more just sitting at the table watching it! Lol but on another note! It's all good! I know it takes time to put together the awesome content you bring us on top of the other things you have to do! Haha your response is by far one of the best that I've read so far! "Cringed and hollered out loud" 😂😂😂 I can tell by your response you're committed 💯 bro! I appreciate you! Yeah I had to keep pushing forward! The soreness didn't start kicking in until the following day. And you're definitely right one good spill as for me many more I'm sure as hard as I push it. I dumped my KTM the other day and you'll see that video after I drop a few that are in line before it. And once again I'm okay Just skinned up knees and arms lol.

    We ride Croom quite a bit and stay in the campground since it’s the closest place to ride. It’s pretty good riding, they just need to get the trail work back up to where it used to be. They’ve done work on the road and campground this year, so they’re trying. The whoops are brutal sometimes and smoke your legs quickly. When the trails are flat, you can downright haul ass. We spend most of our time out boondocking in the woods off the trails. Great place to ride when it’s wet, you get great traction, and plenty of mud if you want it. It’s cool to see familiar trails in your video. My 700R loves it up there, it’s the perfect ride. The park is actually an old mine. You used to be able to find train tracks, huge cables, and other miscellaneous stuff out there before it got all grown up. I flipped my Raptor the exact same way at Durhamtown and broke my arm a few years ago.

    Pete love the show, when I can't ride I find myself watching others ride on youtube. If you ever come to Denver look me up there is a hundred miles of mapped trails in the Pike Nat'l forest, you would love, from rugged as hell to easy.It's like Walt Disney carved these trails in the mountain just for you. The real reason I write is to ask you to consider putting a PH sticker on the right front fender every-time you get ejected or one of your fellow riders gets ejected. We put a foxhead sticker same place. It serves as a reminder that there is a level of focus that must be maintained... or else.

    I thought for sure you were gna hop on Roberts dirt bike for a rip on that last video 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
    I can agree w ya on those open areas and being crowded last weekend our ride when we were at the pit it was the same way we had our group and another large group of dirt bikers and of course everyone is just going all over the place i had to tell them as i was jumping that spot to watch out!
    Man these trails look so awesome florida is such a blast hopefully 2021 i can make it down there!
    Another great video as usual dude! Hope your doing ok w all this virus crap going around!

    • @PeteHager
      @PeteHager  4 роки тому +1

      LOL he wanted me to hop on his bike but i'm too good at crashing them so I steer clear to keep the bike out of harms way 😅I wanted to have it done sooner but the COVID stuff has been a huge distraction but I feel like I'm getting back on track and I hope to get back into the swing of things

    • @ononewheel7
      @ononewheel7 4 роки тому +1

      Pete Hager ya things are crazy here as well and seems like we are far from getting back to normal racing is not looking good for the upcoming events our state isn’t shut down so we can at least ride but all the moto tracks now are closed!

    • @PeteHager
      @PeteHager  4 роки тому +1

      ononewheel7 thankfully our trails are open but everything is still thawing out so the ground is mashed potatoes in spots. If they shut everything down I may focus on getting new parts and probably clearing a new trail this spring at my parents. Let’s hope by mid summer things are headed in a positive direction 🤞

      Pete Hager ah got it. Not sure if you know this but its way too hot by May usually out in Glamis since its a desert. Riding season for us in California is from october to mid april due to weather being cooler. Going to Glamis during that period on a non-holiday weekend would be best. Good chunk of people are out there, but not too many people like on holiday weekends.

    • @FREEDOMSYNDICATEOFFICIAL

      No, You don't need a sticker to ride in that park. You pay a fee as you enter and as long as you have paid to ride You're not required to have any decals. 15 for the day or 40 for the year.

    I know Gary has spacers for his quad but I thought those are bad for your quad putting all that weight and tension on the spacers causing them to break...? That’s the reason I’ve never put spacers on my raptor 700

    • @PeteHager
      @PeteHager  4 роки тому +1

      Matthew Turkalj he has alba long travel arms and rear hubs that widen his quad. I actually have 1 inch spacers front and rear on my quad. It is true that spacers can cause stress on other parts resulting in increased wear and tear. If your jumping all the time I wouldn’t trust them but for regular trail riding they’ve held up just fine. I do plan on getting a wider axle and A-Arms this year, my spacers were always meant to be temporary and I’m excited to widen the proper way 👍
