What people fail to realize is that NA sled going where all those boosts are going shows what that ctec2 motor is. A year or 2 and we will have a 858 hair dryer
Be nice to see cat back in the game. They have a capable powerplant as it, still not quite sure why they never offered a turbo in the current chassis. That chassis had years of field testing on it(has its down sides and issues) but a good starting point to run a turbo. Anyway always a good watch!
@@AmericanSledders haha, the ctec2 is a turd. Redesigned top end after 2 years on the market and now it's being replaced. Try working on one. Suprized chase didn't blow up his primary riding this.
@@stephenh1251 chassis is a modified proclimb, it's about time they update it. probably not a good idea to run a turbo on a sled that already has oiling issues. Probably would blow up fallowing epa standards for oil consumption.
@@bertrenolds5 Not sure i have experienced the oiling issues myself. Had lots of ctechs (600s and 800s)and they seem to hold together really well ( i know the 18-19 had some bugs to work out). They don't have the suzuki reliability but still a fairly tough engine in my view, don't see why some tweaks couldn't have been made to offer a turbo or supercharger.
Always good to have a riding buddy like Dawson. Positive attitude, excellent rider, and santas sack full of tools!

I got a good feeling that these days riding with Caleb and Keith etc is going seriously elevate your skill level going into the rest of the season. I'll be watching everyday! Had good snow back here in NB on the East for 3 weeks and then lost it all! Mother nature seems to be testing sledders patience all across the country!!

You can easily see how you put yourself into the dangerzone without a hesitation and you just nail it. Also love the vid/PoV trading you and Caleb got going on. Gives more depth into the lines you are taking and makes it such a joy to watch. Keep it up 🤙

1) ALL of you guys are insanely talented. Its ridiculous.
2) But, yes, Caleb is an absolute beast.
3) Technical skill aside, I personally believe you all gotta have some brass fn cohones to go into these zones. So kudos to you guys for doing it.
4) Ive never been mountain riding so forgive me BUT .. with all those rocks and downed trees, how the hell are you guys not ripping paddles off your tracks constantly? OR are you and you gents just arent mentioning it?

that was awesome! im an orlder granpa 61 and luv your adventures, i enjoy my 02 edge X 700, thru life i have seen the changes in rides. but what you get to do is amazing to me, to watch you guys ride thru and up thoses mountains on a snowmobile !! it beauty of the mountains and a sled that can take you to the top!!!! Wow . l can only watch this tyoe of riding now ( sad face) haha I show you and your guys stuff to my grandson he 10 the beauty and the fun you guys get to have and want he to see what he can do if he wants, to see how peacful what you do is. I hope in his life he can get the sense of adventure like you all have, also to see the power of a machine you have and how it can be controlled, i mean controlled to a point.. you make it look so easy and we know it not. But he can see the beauty of riding a machine with that power and controlly it with more power a get you to amaziing places.... Thanks man !!!

Keith is so smooth over logs, and rough terrain, then there's caleb, tossing the sled around like a silver back. He's so fun to watch, but man does it look exhausting keeping that pace.
Gotta be scary riding with that many Polaris sleds. Never know when something will break. Might even end with another recall
