I have a 1998 Yamaha warrior 350 with a blown motor (bad crank) and I'm swaping a basket case 2002 kx125 dirt bike motor into it. Hopefully ill finish it mid October and start riding! I hope ill get to come to a subscriber meet up at some point, keep up the good work!!
That is a great stretch of the river! We ride up to the bar in town "Riverside" quite a bit in the winter! You can always check out the trails through Brushy in the winter as well! Keep up the great videos!!

Just make sure u are confirming ur body position when you jump, you to have your head just in line with the handle bars that will help you keep your front end from lifting so high in the air, also when u hit the jumps try to stay on the gas all the way through the face of the jump that way u don’t nose dive either
What if you did a trail race with a experienced expert driver and a sort of experienced driver and the expert starts 1:30 seconds after the sort of experienced driver and whoever finishes first wins? It could be fun and interesting from both their perspectives.
That guy that stopped @16:01 was lucky you were paying attention. My friend died that way, he was stopped and someone wasn't paying attention and slammed into him killing them both 30 mins into the new year in 2018

I have a quick question Pete! Do you use clutch everything you upshift? I’ve been trying to see if you do but I can’t tell. What’s your opinion on not using it? I’ve Hurd it’s alright to not use it when downshifting but you should when upshifting? What do you think?
The YFZ up shifts really easily without the clutch so sometimes I use it and sometimes I don’t. I always use it when downshifting though. I’ve heard mixed opinions on either 👍
I have heard both sides and opinions as well. About half the time when I'm in some fast stuff I would not use the clutch. Never had an issue but almost always used it when downshifting.
Eventually I hope to get a YXZ for dune trips and to haul stuff like coolers and camera gear on bigger rides. I pretty much want the YXZ for the sound 😅🤘
talk about a day to remember, i just a got a gopro, so excited to record my next ride loaded my yfz up to go to badlands Attica today and i get there and they are closed for a foot race! ok what ever no big deal, i get a mile away from home and its over an hour drive and my rear dif goes out! ok no big deal, i get my brother who lives 5 mins from where i was at to tow me home with a strap, well we get about 5 mins down the street and my freakin AXLE BRAKES! lol tires goes rolling down the street.....but i guess better to hapen a mile away from home instead of 100 miles. and i did get to record myself pulling into badlands parking lot lol. not sure how great of a YT vid itll be tho lol....
Their property is a little southwest of Webster City. They have a Facebook group called the “Iowa Trail Riders Association” if you want to join and be notified for ride meet ups! 👍

@@davidbarraza5517 Yes both machines have R4's but i'm actually upgrading both the machines to R5's this fall. The R5 is more racing oriented and is supposed to be a little quieter. I've had tons of compliments on the sound note of the R4 👍
ive been seeing you use the clutch, even when you drag race, you know you can shift up without the clutch (if you are going fast) and its faster to shift that way? id say look it up on yt on a how to so you dont mess anything up but basically you put a little bit of upwards pressure on the lever and let off the throttle and get right back on it itll slide into the next gear up, its really easy
@@Josiah_Richards it’s a hard habit to break, the 450 seems to upshift much easier without the clutch than my raptor. When we’re not riding that hard I tend to use the clutch. I’m not trying to squeeze every inch out of the machine when I’m drag racing but I definitely appreciate the advice. Maybe someday I’ll take it more seriously and hone in those skills 😅👍
