That chippy looks so cute! I love the fact that Trinity Orchard has been kept and not built on. Nice glowing embers of the sun there. Walking Wearing Wellingtons in Wellington over Wellington Boot marks! 🤣 I like it in Winter when the views are more open, but I also like seeing Spring too. Great little gentle walk Louise. The Basins in Wellington are a wonderful asset to the town. Well done to the volunteers there. Interesting hearing about The Basins and the water towers too. Nice video! Paul
The bridges are so sweet but I'd lose my shoes in this walk 🤣Ahhh, you should have given the swing a go 😊 Lovely walk Louise, like you say I imagine it changes how it looks throughout the season.
Lovely to see a walk in my local area. I live in Rockwell Green and currently our two favourite walks are either up to the monument or a 5 mile circular walk following the footpaths from the basins, past Prowses Mill to the Beambridge Inn then back through the village of Sampford Arundel. Both avoid most roads and are fields or footpaths most of the way. Hoping you may show us some new ones to explore!
Oh those walks sound lovely! I need to get out and find some more walks to share. I loved exploring all the footpaths during lockdowns. Really pleased that you enjoyed the video 🤗
Lovely winters walk. The butchers picnic looked good. Swans always look so graceful but we have also had so many hissing moments 😂 the perils of a UA-camr 😅 Didn’t realise you were on Instagram as well. I’ll give you a follow. I post my vintage/retro clothes on there ✌️
Thank you Nicola! Ah yes! Hissing moments! I had a few of those when I visited Abbotsbury Swannery to make a video 🦢 Thank you for the follow on Instagram. I will follow you back too.
Hi @SouthWestSundays. Thank you for another lovely video. Is there anything in the way of parking? My partner and I would love to go on the walk. Glad you enjoyed your chippy tea 👍
Thanks so much!! Ah! That chippy tea was so delicious! Parking would probably be in Wellington town centre car parks. If you fancied starting it down at the basins instead, there is parking at the sports centre.
It's lovely to find something new on a walk you know so well. I am sure you will look in on the orchard later this year.
Thank you Faith! Yes, I agree! I think I will return to the orchard later this year to see how it’s looking and what fruit has grown.
Enjoyed seeing the swans, they look like they are gliding on top of the water, so graceful. 😊
That’s so true. Such beautiful creatures 🤗

Thank you Paul! I agree with everything you say in this comment. Really pleased that you enjoyed the video!
Thank you for a delightful seasonal walk. The wildfowl seemed to be enjoying it too!
Thanks so much Michael! I agree!! The wildfowl seemed very happy!
Very enjoyable walk Louise. Loved the way they used wrought iron for the seat, gate, the little bridges
Thank you Tommy! Yes, so do I. The wrought iron is so characterful and could probably tell many a story as it’s been there so long.
Lovely local walk, thanks Louise
Thank you 🤗. Pleased that you enjoyed it.
Lovely video Louise and a great day for wellies! Might need them here today lol. You deserved the chips too !
Thank you Alex!! Oh no!! I can not imagine having to ever have to wear Wellies in lovely Mallorca ☀️
