Thank's for sharing this lovely walk - which I first did when the canal was in still in an abandoned state - although I believe, renovation work on the aqauduct was in progress. When I returned, some years later, the canal was in water and lined with boats. What a transformation!
I am from the UK and used to live by the canal and trust me there are some right dodgy parts it's not all beautiful. you can also get some strange characters on them😂
I love BOA! Beautiful town in a perfect setting. That must be lovely memory of having narrowboat holidays Louise. Well done on getting over 2,000 subscribers - well deserved and earned. Loved seeing the boat cats - lots of them! Yes, I have found that the really cold weather has been draining my camera batteries more quickly too. I liked hearing all the sounds of nature there too. Another lovely video. Paul
Thank you Amanda! Haha! Yes, I do see alot of cats. These three were all so cold.m, they didn’t want to come and chat to me! Yes, such a peaceful area. Perfect for a post Christmas stroll..
Great walk Louise. The light was beautiful that day. We love doing this walk as well. The town looked lovely at night with all the Christmas lights still in place. It did look very cold for you. 😊😊
Thank you Martin! Yes, it was so cold 🥶 I think I got brain freeze on a couple of occasions. I agree … the light was beautiful and the night time town scene so twinkly!
I was so tempted to get something in the lock inn when I was there recently but chickened out - I'm so silly sometimes 🤣 I love Avoncliff - it's little tea garden and pub are so perfectly placed, must be lovely in the summer (they were both closed when I went too and the station is the only station in the UK with it's own aquaduct.) The walk along the river between Avoncliff and Bradford-on-Avon is one I want to do too. Lovely video as always and congrats on 2,000 subscribers 😊
Thank you Jesse! I am quite shy when it comes to dining out in some places, so I can understand why you chickened out. I was pleased that I did it though and eventually I had the boat to myself so could get some nice footage. They have a nice and varied menu. Ah! I would love to go in the summer. I might do the river walk starting at Avoncliff in the summer (starting at the tea garden).
I love the smell of wood burners too Louise. 😊
A lovely winters walk Louise. 😊

Oh wow! That must have been wonderful to see that transformation and really interesting to see too.
We had a fab breakfast on that canal barge
Oh lovely! Their breakfast menu did look really nice!
🎉2000🥳subs. Lovely winter smells of "boat fuel" 😂😂😂 that is a classic😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣 ⛴️
You are very lucky living in England, with all these wonderful canals 😊

You would love the Norfolk Broads too. 😊
