- The computer we use is just as important as anything else in our line of work. We've recently partnered up with MSI, well known for gaming computer components they also make computers for creators like ourselves.
With me is the new Creator Z16P laptop and I'm going to go over key features and how it's helped us in our workflow.

I just put up four prints from Pikes Peak on my store. Two of Ken Block, two of Rod Millen's Tacoma larrychenprints.com/
Mr. Chen, how hot does this get when you're running multiple programs? I did see a complaint about the heat from another reviewer of the Z16P.
And no issues with not having a LAN port? Use an adapter/dongle to get high bandwidth over an ethernet?
But the question is, Can it run Crsis? Lol

I bought the MSI Professional Creator Z16P 16": Intel Core i7-12700H RTX 3080 32GB DDR5 1TB NVMe SSD for Gaming and installed the Nvidia RTX Gamer Ready drivers. I love this laptop for gaming absolutely perfect!!
I too really like MSI, I have a GT60-2OD, it's a Haswell unit with the 3k 15.6" display. However I decided I wanted to try a Surface Book 3 for streaming (I was streaming church services each week) because it's lighter, smaller, has a GPU, *and* could charge off USB-C also. USB-C is very limiting, and yeah the MSI I have can't do any real work with a USB-C PD adapter or the charger shuts down, but having the option of *also* using USB-C PD for charging is useful. I was looking at the ASUS Predator Triton 500SE because it had all the ports in the body (no dongle needed) and was USB-C PD compatible, but it's a 16" laptop with a 60% keyboard. IMHO, anything with a 15" or bigger screen should have a full layout keyboard with normal size arrow keys. This is the real limitation of the SB3 IMO, the keyboard sucks if you are used to a full size laptop keyboard. I really have no idea what your background is, I just know that you're the "go to" car photo guy, so perhaps for people that are new to the channel, like me, you should maybe do a bio video and tell us your story, do a walkaround, etc?
Very useful video. Hope new laptop would not disappoint :)
This was like a Linus Tech Tips video but with sweet cars.
Can you also upgrade the ram on it?
Old news bud, where ya been...
MSI is at the Tippity Top, yet only halfway there.
got my msi 3080 gp66 leopard with the last of my compensation from my previous job 🤣 at least I can finally take full advantage of my odyssey g9
Would've preferred you integrated this kind of -sponsorship- '''''''partnership''''''' into your regular videos or vlog of bts and be like 'it got great color accuracy,' 'fast and powerful' and 'lotta storage for offloading' in a segue instead of imitating a tech channel for a video.
Only laptop with 3080? You better tell Blade 15 and Zephyrus G15.. Lots of others with 3070 which is almost s good.
Ridiculous to see this guy on his knees bowing when it isn't that rare
great video! more gear reviews please!
This isn't a review, it's an ad.
Now I have a new want!
Awesome review!
Battery life is very good "for the power"?? This is babbling non speak... it's either good or bad... have the courage to say so.
Good stuff!
This whole video is an advertisement 🤮
missing the Hoonigan autofocus good ol' days
Nice! But can it run Crysis? 👻😁😇
I understand your probably not a computer guy, but dropping over $3000 on a laptop is asinine. Especially considering that laptop will probably resale for around $1000 in a year.
Not when getting work done faster makes you money. Depending on how much money someone makes it could make perfect sense to spend an extra $3000 on top of this even if it only speeds up their work flow by 5%. We're not talking about something you use for entertainment, we're talking about work where you're spending a significant amount of time waiting for things to render.
He got it for free, this is an ad.
@@kristoffer3000 bought mine full price, on my own dime. Everything he said is true, ad or not.
@@DigitalChivalry It's an ad.
I doubt that... Creator line holds up their value.
Can't say the same regarding M1
Lenovo T used to be king. But now its plastic cheap shit. Onyl thing I liked was lenovo hub which you could connect via 1 cable only usb-c to the laptop and you had monitors, charging, mouse, keyboard, speakers whatever connected to hub not the laptop. Now I have macbook pro for most work and its kind of shit in some ways, cool in few like laptop material, display, speakers, battery management. I miss that one cable everything from lenovo. I need to put charger and some shitty unofficial mini hub or hdmi+usb (with usbc converter which now blocks the other usbc port lmao 😆). Would probably switch to that MSI if I had choice. Nice that it has second pcie slot these ssd on pcie are ultra fast.
Cool video, Larry. As another PC/Android/Google guy, I'm curious what kind of editing software you recommend.
Whomever pays him enough it seems
I'll extend to say if you're a Linux guy too, Darktable for photos and KDEnlive for video editing. Be prepared to have a lot of patience and save often if using kdenlive! :-) As for "which Android", I really like my LG after having been on Samsung for so long. Samsung "customizes" too much of the UX and makes it stupid hard for smart people to get stuff done.
I am early for once! :D
But have you tried the M1 Max? by far the greatest for all editing. fast and snappy!
Less great at 3D rendering
Finally someone is talking about this 2022 release. I purchased it a month or so ago, and have since swapped in 64gb or ram and added a second m.2. I LOVE this laptop, it is gorgeous, well built, quiet, and has a great display. Professional photographer here. I'm extremely happy with mine.
How has it been so far, any issues?
Hows the battery life
WOULD LOVE TO SEE ,,,,, WHAT TYPE PHONE ARE YOU USING THANKS AND LOVE THE CHANNEL !!!!!!!
we need more gear videos
