Hard disagree on the BIOS comment BTW: the safety of such updates is really improved in recent years, and computers can roll back a bad update these days. BIOS handles a lot in terms of voltage, clock speed, and load distribution to the CPU and I’ve seen it fix random inexplicable crashes or weird glitches, really recommend updating the BIOS any time it’s available.
Hey I believe the performance issues with when you unplug the power cable has something to do with power saving mode. Go to your windows power settings and change the battery setting to high performance. This will drain battery faster but at least you get the same performance of plugin power
Not only that such a laptop has 4 hrs of battery on battery saver, if you were to put it on high performance, you'll struggle to get 2 hrs of battery so yeah.... I don't personally like macbooks, but i have to give them credit for 100% performance unplugged and still 10+ hrs of battery

Here's the thing. This Windows Laptop replacement for the MacBook Pro (presuming it's 16") is around the same price if not more 😂| The word "replacement" is justified thus [in India]

Not one word abut the battery life or how FAST it probably drains when actually trying to do some heavy work. A macbook lasts about 10 hours possibly more with productivity This you guys had plugged in almost the whole video. Which says alot. Why buy a laptop when youre always going to need a power outlet might as well buy a mac mini. You just read everything out of the book and call it good. How much did they pay you to not say bad stuff about it? Why does everyone act like they are a genius when all they are doing is reading a script.
Well it's known that such laptops struggle to get 4 hours of battery with 50% of their maximum performance output, but it still has mobility. Sure, you can't use it for 10 hours like macbooks, but you can use it anywhere for how much time you want if you have a plug nearby. Personally I think like such laptops are more like "Portable PCs" meaning that you can travel with them as long as you have a place to keep them plugged in for maximum performance

The weight, the amount of updates you have to do at the worst times, battery life (obvi), durability (sun exposure) dirty environment (dusty), lack of power w/o power outlet and my biggest complaint above all the fans! They are so loud so going to a cafe, library, small room it starts whirring up even when little to nothing is running in background or updates. Then that brings heat and doing anything triggers the fans! Most annoying. That’s why I don’t like laptops. Tablets aren’t there yet, but they are getting there for sure. Soon laptops will be obsolete. So save money for those if you need a mobile PC. Because you’re literally carrying a PC when you might as well just buy a Mac mini or a mini pc which are just as powerful if not more.
@@dunamiswihmee true facts. You can set a schedule for windows updates so that it will not restart from 7AM-8PM or your custom schedule. And I believe you can also disable automatic updates download. Regarding the noise from the fans, it depends on the laptop. Mine has a silent mode and the fans stays at 0 RPM if the temps are under 67 degrees. If temps get beyond that, the fans spin at maximum 2500 RPM which is still pretty much quiet and wouldn't embarrass anyone in a coffee shop but depending on the task, it might throttle a bit with that mode even if it's running on AC power. Personally I keep my laptop in this silent mode like 90% of the time and it's great for programming and light photo/video editing. Otherwise I bump it to performance/turbo mode and fans spin at 3000-6000 RPM and the performance is better obvi

They do not write BIOS updates for added "features", bad advice here. ALWAYS keep your systems up to date, including BIOS.
