Playlist with lots of bosses - • Flare gun only
Tracks are Adjunct - Abstraction and No Hesitation - Afilion. Took a different approach to this video than the ones I made previously, decided to go through everything with explanations and tips. - Ігри
If I tried something like this I would get big anxiety over the slim chance that the game could crashes or the boss glitches out and despawns

I'm reading this after that exact scenario where skelatron despawns do to a glitch happened to him in lawnmower only lol
I think the best part of this video is how he just casually says that some of the boss fights took hours as though that's a completely normal thing
very late reply but hes beaten the game with the lawnmower as well, moon lord took 90 hours
For him that's a completely normal thing to do ☠️
3 years later, and cursed flares are in the game, making this challenge much, much easier.
What are these?
@@JessicaMorganiask wiki , if not they are crafted with cursed flamed and normal flares i think , there is also shimmer flares but they don t do anything special it just looks cool
@@JessicaMorgani you can craft 33 with 1 cursed flames and 33 flares, they're flares that inflict cursed flames.
dude basically beat the dungeon guardian with a flare gun as a legitimate boss fight without any exploits or cheese
how do you have the patience for this sort of stuff, I'd imagine this must ware you down a lot for just one boss
The only boss that was really exhausting was golem, since I did that all in one sitting on stream and it took like 8 3/4 hours. For the cultist and the moon lord, I paused the game and took breaks every few hours. It does get tiring, though, which is why it took a while to finish this - I need to be in the mood to continue.
Wait.. you're telling me that solar enemies, which seem to be made of semi-molten rock themselves, take damage from lava?

they're made of solar plasma, and crushed by lava if they get inside it
and i thought i was good when i beat the eye of cthulhu with only wood armor, a wooden yoyo, white string, lesser healing potions and 160 max health, with no modifiers. bravo
If I recall correctly, aren't there cursed flame flares in the game as well? They don't technically violate the rules of the challenge because you're still dealing damage through the flare gun itself.
Those are a 1.4.4 addition and also lame as hell because they're actually good

@@sorbetcafe Dammit... I defeated the moonlord on expert with nothing but cursed flares (basically same rules you are following but I used cursed flares), I hope my feat isn't lame...

using something like the stinger necklace seems decent since it gives you the honey buff when you hit enemies
it would be nice, unfortunately though it spawns bees when you get hit that deal damage and that's against the rules
also, it doesn't give you the buff when you hit enemies. It gives you the buff when enemies hit you.
Yeah, it would be easier now since the addition of cursed flare
Beat terraria but you can only store items potions etc in your hotbar, so you can have equipment in there slots, but potions and grappling hooks cannot go in your inventory only your hotbar.

Wow. That is an amazing achievement. the blue flares are exactly the same as the normal one, but you said that they were better. Am I missing something?
Red flares are ugly, I'd never willingly use a red flare

Stopping time and changing the difficult don't defeat the purpose of the challenge, they're the only way the challenge could have been done at the time. Seeds like don'tdigup and getfixedboi, where time limits are removed, didn't exist, and the projectile cap is a hard limit preventing the wall of flesh from being killed on expert or higher. I don't see how pausing time to make an otherwise impossible challenge possible or increasing difficulty to make the game harder removes the entire point.@@hollowknightenjoyer
