@Brownskikuca I’ll post a comment I made a month ago that was really long so it got banished to the shadow realm but I did a ton of math (hopefully correctly) that makes me believe due to the piercing it may be possible with crits
you should try this again after the update, id like to think its possible but I think itd be tough I may be missing something though, im working with a summoner emblem, celestial emblem, Avenger Emblem, mana flower and whatever wings, all with menacing modifiers, with the best armor bonus I could find (I may be being stupid) thats obtainable before mech bosses albeit with a lot of fishing for hardmode ores you get a extra 20% damage bonus from armor, all this leads to you doing about 2 times the base damage if I did the math right with with the base now being 14 instead of 8 you would be doing about 28 damage per hit barring crits or the on fire debuff (a bit more with the demonic modifier), assuming 2 shots per second which may or may not be doable depending if you use wings/mana flower or something that increases speed, on a single target you should be able to do about 30k in a night cycle, that should be enough to kill skeletron prime, now I havent counted in potions which can add a bit, Magic Power Potion adding 20% and Wrath Potion adding another 10% and theres some to add crit chance, defense etc, this adds about another 9k damage which still means you could only beat prime, now crits and on fire, on fire debuff adds about 12 damage every 3 seconds if it triggers which it has a 50% to after the buffs, so working with a 50% rate adds another about 2500 damage (less than I would have thought so maybe im messing the math up), this brings you pretty close to being able to kill the twins so with crit chance helping out you might be able to, as you currently are doing about 41500 damage in a 9 minute night cycle so if you happened to (as impossible as this is) hit every shot being a crit you would do about 83000 damage which is even enough to kill the destroyer, now that is the most ideal case so that wont be likely to happen but you could likely crit enough to kill the twins, now for destroyer keep in mind it is a worm so you can hit multiple parts at once thus your damage could pretty easily double, another thing I didnt do math for was the shark tooth necklace and or furniture buffs such as the Crystal Ball adding 5% more damage, I really dont honestly know how to calculate the shark tooth necklaces effect on damage vs mech bosses and im too lazy to look it up XD, but in short I do think its doable with enough grinding and with some luck for crits and enough skill to hit shots while not taking too much damage, keep in mind though im no expert and im not sure ive picked the best or best available at the time items/gear/potions etc so take what I say with a grain of salt
@@Unvoltingz I just checked the wiki, it has a solid DPS -It shoots 50% faster than the Undertaker and deals double the damage, even out-performing the phoenix blaster -Auto fires :D -Using corrupted sand as ammo gives it extra piercing -Generates as much sands as it uses, and can benefit from ammo buffs to generate free sand (wathever the reason you would want that) -Can harm the user and all players for that matter -It has some of the lowest material to value ratio, granting really cheap reforges -Can fill lava -Can be shot directly below to rise yourself

You can kill skeletron prime with the wand of sparking. Skeletron will not despawn when the day comes, he will act exactly like dungeon guardian, instantly killing you when you touch him and having an absurd amount of defense. You could theoretically kill him with good dodging.

So pickaxes, axes, hammers, chansaws and drills including Sawtooth Shark, Reaver Shark, Plantera's The Axe and the Butcher's chainsaw, Slime, Unicorn, Scutlix and Basilisk mounts, Shield of Cthulhu and Spore Sac accessories, Solar Armor counterattack and Stardust Armor's Guardian (but by then you're done), damage reflection from Thorns potion and Turtle Armor, the Forbidden Armor's Tornado, NPC's attacks, Maybe sickle, bombs and Dynamite (which would make it muuuch easier), lava (buckets), and traps. MAYBE. Am I missing something ?

You could probably have a slightly easier time with Skeletron Prime by spinning around him with a hoik setup. It would take a long while, especially when it turns to day, but you would beat him eventually. Twins is most likely possible, but I'm not sure about Destroyer either. Great video nonetheless!
@@funl Read the description buddy. Slime mount deals damage, and is banned as a result. I'm sure you *could* do the slime exploit, but it has too high of a chance to accidentally slap a boss by mistake. It's also a very cheap and annoying way to cheese a challenge run, and nobody wants to watch or do that.
Whatdo your magical weapons do? My wand shoots sparks at my enemies. Mine sprays water like a water gun. I can shoot really slow balls of water that bounce. Entering hardmode: I have a book that shoots flames that burn underwater. I have a staff that shoots light swords. I have a crystal prism that launches a 10 foot wide ray of solid light.
In 1.4, the Wand of Sparking is going to have nearly doubled damage, increased attack speed, increased critical strike chance, and increased chance of inflicting "On Fire". Is there a chance we are going to see a revisal of this video when the update comes out?
Well (don't quote me on this) rarer things are easier to find because there isnt as much room like it's harder to find floating islands in a large world than a small one. I could be wrong tho
I started playing Terraria and i must say I LOVE IT. So much stuff to do. Exploring, find out how everything works, farm my gear, die 10 times in the dungeon. With all this different "Classes", Bosses ect. Its so much fun. Im at 28h atm, have 2/3 Necro Pieces and just defeated Eye and Skeletron.
Pretty sure you can kill mech bosses with wand of sparkling in 1.4. Orichalcum armor set bonus gives you around 100 dps (if you hit all shots). Given that wand if sparkling with all the possible buffs here has around 95 dps, for the entire night (9 minutes) you can deal 105300 damage, which is enough for every mech boss.
I had a goblin army on my modded play through and for like 20 minutes and 40 deaths I realized that my hammer did like 500 damage and this was at the point of no bosses done yet
I have never played or watched Terraria before but hey, I guess I can sit here for 20 minutes and intensely watch someone do something with something that I don't know anything about.

Skeletron Prime is DEFINITELY possible. He doesn't despawn at day, so if you made a long minecart rail with jumps at the end of the world, you could theoretically ride just in front of him as he's too slow to catch you, dealing 1 damage until he's dead.
Saw some stuff here its kinda a great video for how to survive against these bosses indefinitely, but it should be mentioned you seem to have several mods attached here and i would argue is not the vanilla experience. Perhaps a list of used mods might go a long way to alleviating that belief.
Idk if you already did a successful run of this but technically if there was a way for you to double the swing speed or wand activation then it would double both dmg output and crit chances

In journey mode you’re able to change the time of day. If you start a new play through in journey mode, you could continually set it to midnight and be able to fight the mech bosses for as long as you can survive.

Well (don't quote me on this) rarer things are easier to find because there isnt as much room like it's harder to find floating islands in a large world than a small one. I could be wrong tho

You should hoik into the temple and beat golem, then you can continue. I understand it is a major glitch, but you could technically, beat moonlord.
Or you could use a hoik to avoid the dungeon guardian prime
cant spawn golem until plantera defeated, cant spawn plantera until mech bosses defeated, so no, its not possible.

I started playing Terraria and i must say I LOVE IT. So much stuff to do. Exploring, find out how everything works, farm my gear, die 10 times in the dungeon. With all this different "Classes", Bosses ect. Its so much fun.
Im at 28h atm, have 2/3 Necro Pieces and just defeated Eye and Skeletron.
Pretty sure you can kill mech bosses with wand of sparkling in 1.4. Orichalcum armor set bonus gives you around 100 dps (if you hit all shots). Given that wand if sparkling with all the possible buffs here has around 95 dps, for the entire night (9 minutes) you can deal 105300 damage, which is enough for every mech boss.
I had a goblin army on my modded play through and for like 20 minutes and 40 deaths I realized that my hammer did like 500 damage and this was at the point of no bosses done yet

Skeletron Prime is DEFINITELY possible. He doesn't despawn at day, so if you made a long minecart rail with jumps at the end of the world, you could theoretically ride just in front of him as he's too slow to catch you, dealing 1 damage until he's dead.

Saw some stuff here its kinda a great video for how to survive against these bosses indefinitely, but it should be mentioned you seem to have several mods attached here and i would argue is not the vanilla experience. Perhaps a list of used mods might go a long way to alleviating that belief.
Idk if you already did a successful run of this but technically if there was a way for you to double the swing speed or wand activation then it would double both dmg output and crit chances

In journey mode you’re able to change the time of day. If you start a new play through in journey mode, you could continually set it to midnight and be able to fight the mech bosses for as long as you can survive.

It’s funny how when the king slime first randomly spawned in my world,i was kinda scared cuz i didn’t know how hard he was, but now that i’m not a terraria noob, i know that he’s literally just a slow blob that you can walk away from that has barely and health and does close to no damage
Ik not many people will see this but this could have a retry due the new item (wand of frosting) which does a base damage of around 18 and a frost brun that ticks for two DPS.
