But you need also to mention that it isn't only the position but also, like I this case a black color, darker color have more pigments in it, so they need more cure time
I just do thinner coats and add a third. It’s a little slower than just doing a longer cure but I always feel more confident knowing it’s cured all the way through. 🫶
Really cuz it was pretty transparent IMHO. Sure it's a darker color overall... But explain then why makartts black diamond cures under my sun 5 lamp in fifteen seconds... Even if it's too thick...
💡🤔This could be a good idea to create a pocket for a snow globe nail. Except use a file off hard gel, over a fully cured base layer, snip the tip and clean out the uncured gel with a toothpick maybe, and then wash out with isopropyl alcohol. You can add the glitter and fluid and then cap the opening after. I might just try this. 😃
I’ve been telling this to people for ages. Also make sure your lamp has sufficient wattage to cure the product you’re working with e.g. anything lower than a 48 watt lamp for my builder gels won’t suffice. You shouldn’t apply product too thickly to allow light to get through it and turn your hand over to cure the other side where it’s thicker. Darker colours should be cured for longer but, manufacturers don’t always point this out. You can always blend a little clear of the same product in to the same brand product that is a solid colour to aid curing. Some gels cure better than other gels, some don’t cure at all even when cured for the recommended time so purchasing good quality, reliable products that don’t cause service breakdown is essential. One other tip is turn your lamp over and make sure you know exactly where the lights are located because it’s easy with some lamps to unwittingly position your hand away from the lights and not get complete light coverage hence, uncured product.
Request for: Anatasia ❤ - can you please do a video only on how many minutes to put each different types of nail products in the lamp, etc? Many of us do not know. 🤗 Example like: Building Gel: how many minutes; Glue gel: how many minutes, etc, etc
My own nails for over five years, using basic gel, polish and gel light, or I would apply a impress or kiss a big set of nails, and then do a gel polish coat over top to further and hear them and give them a blast. It was amazing people of my nails. It was Chief it worked out this was long before the pandemic and everybody started hacking the process. Fast forward to 2020 and I cannot use anything besides basic nail polish on my nails and even then if it touches my skin game over, because I didn’t know the effects of prolonged use and mixing things like nail glue, and then gel on top of those things, touching each other on my skin, and getting the gel on my skin could cause allergy. Now there’s no one doing the allergy and I just have bald ugly nails all the time I hate it it actually messes with my self-confidence so please take her message seriously do not get that stuff on your nails take breaks cure appropriately and just generally take all precautions because it sucks when your fingers swell up all around the nail turn, red peel, etc. it’s so painful and itchy for weeks.
Omg that happened to me and it was during the pandemic, so you kno everyone was doing Tic-Tok’s or tutorials on UA-cam after watching EVERYTHING on Netflix well to make a long story short. I never actually found out if I was allergic to the acrylic or the monomer. 😂
I've never had that happen besides you left the dual form on if u took if off and put ur finger back under the lamp the gel would've cured🙄poly gel is literally fool proof
That's also crap product though. Good products cure most of the way through in fifteen seconds. And good products are typically better balanced in their opacity. That looks like Rosalind polygel to me.
Me and a friend had a girls day we got our nails done at a place we’d never been to before and I had gotten a French manicure that literally turned black after a couple days I’d never seen that before and I’m no stranger to manicures with a full set or just my nails or with gels or acrylics regular nail polish or shellac etc I never ever went back to that place
Not trying to be mean but i feel like every should know that if you take it out too early it wouldn't finish and still be gooey. If it was finished it wouldn't be considered too early. What's more interesting is what happens if they're left too long.

That's definitely how most ppl from Memphis talk. Lol. I also understand forgetting the ages of your children. It's actually really easy to forget how old your children are when you have 3 or more.
Likewise. Dual forms are best used with acrylic to avoid this issue in the video, because even taking all the precautions in the world (I’ve posted a separate comment listing how to avoid uncured product), polygels can still cure unreliably. Sculpting is a skill worth honing and it means not using slip solution between the nail bed/cured base coat and the polygel, which can cause lifting, (not that I use the latter method because of the introduction of moisture).
I didn't know this. But, I always keep my nails in for a longer time. Even when the technician says it's dry. I still put my nails back under the light.
How can I get one layer of acrylic gel without pouring the cuticles and without filing the top? I don't have a milling machine yet and I do everything myself. I simply can't apply a second layer of acrylic gel by hand and I'd rather do everything on forms

But how long do I keep them in? And also how can I prevent the top coat from turning blue due to the UV lights? :c I always have that problem when curing for the 120s
What top coat are you using that turns blue? I've never seen or heard of that happening - it's concerning. Are you sure you aren't mistaking it turning blue, from the reflection and looking at your lamp too long? Otherwise, you need to get a new top coat - that shouldn't be happening unless you accidentally mixed pigment with polish.
Flash cure for 3 seconds and remove hand for 3 seconds continue this a couple of times until there are no more heat spikes , gel heats as it cures, Always do thin layers to start
But you need also to mention that it isn't only the position but also, like I this case a black color, darker color have more pigments in it, so they need more cure time
I started doing my own nails and didn’t know the curing time is different from light to darker colors. Thank you for teaching me something new❤
I just do thinner coats and add a third. It’s a little slower than just doing a longer cure but I always feel more confident knowing it’s cured all the way through. 🫶
You are very right about the black being so pigmented. I find that black and white both take longer to cure because of the pigment in them.
I've noticed this, black gel polish takes extra time to cure.
Really cuz it was pretty transparent IMHO. Sure it's a darker color overall... But explain then why makartts black diamond cures under my sun 5 lamp in fifteen seconds... Even if it's too thick...

Omg, that's genius! But you need to only freeze cure it I think for this purpose, as transparent gels cure quickly 😄
I been wanting to do one for soo long!!
Have u seen the lava lamp nails? I think the designer already did a snow globe but I can't remember her name but she's really good!!!

that bedazzled lamp though 😍

Did Fashion Nova sponsored this video? If not, they better be. You’re rocking their cap💯🙌
That's why I use pure acrylic instead of poly(acryl)gel. Don't waist any time in a lamp, acrylic dries in 'the air'! And it's much more steady!
Especially dark colors!!😊
it sucks because i ended up getting contact dermatitis from not curing my nails long enough… it’s itchy and extremely uncomfortable
