As someone who was the dumper and is about 6 weeks into the post breakup experience, I can tell you that everything he says in his videos about the psychology of this end of things is exactly correct. Trust the no contact, because it really is fucking with my head.

Lee's videos and most of the comments in the comments section are like a lifeline for me, giving me so much hope... not necessarily that she'll come back, but that things will get better eventually, whatever the outcome.
Answering requests, the update: she hasn't come back, nor do I think she ever will. However, things are indeed going much better with my life. If I can survive this, anyone can. Just focus on improving as a person, helping people that are in even worse situations and having fun, and soon enough you won't even have mental room to suffer that much.
If you had a great relationship. There is a great chance they will revisit the idea of coming back to you. In the meantime concentrate on personal growth

Love this. Very well explained. There are so many coaches who advocate no contact as a trick to get your ex back but they rarely mention that after no contact you’ll be a better and stronger partner for your next partner - whether that be your ex or someone you’ve never even met yet.
Wow! I have to say that you are one of the best coaches that I’ve seen on UA-cam. You have a really positive and calming presence and it has helped me get through these hard times. I haven’t spoken to my ex since the middle of November. He sent me a text message on Christmas but didn’t bother to tell me Happy Birthday on Christmas Eve. He is soooo PETTY! I still haven’t spoken to my ex since November. He continues to send me messages and calls me regularly. He even called and texted me from someone else’s phone two weeks ago because I blocked him in November. My best friend is so proud of me for finally moving on with my life. I’ve been working on myself for the last 6 months and I feel much better. I have weak moments from time to time, but thanks to Coach Lee’s encouraging videos I’ll be just fine. 🙂
No contact absolutely works, it took my girlfriend about 4 weeks to text me and say that not talking was stupid and we should meet up, that was 2 years ago!

Thanks for this advice. I was hit with the “I need sometime apart”. Similar to what you said she had already prepared her reasoning but by means of speaking to her friends I guess to validate her decision. I said there was no point as I didn’t want to be left in suspense, gathered my stuff and left. My regret is that by not communicating with her on that day I acted irrationally and that I concluded our relationship due to being so hurt. I didn’t want my reaction to be a power play to gain control by means of manipulation to take back what she said, I was just hurt to be feeling so rejected after everything we’d been through.
When the break up happens and you dont want it .... Yes its true, no contact works!!! They have 2 go through all the stages.. but trust me, you also have 2 go through all the stages! You have 2 feel pain, lost, etcetera etcetera ... Wait until YOU find yourself back! It can take months and months 2 let them go in your mind. And when you really moved on in your own life ... When you have new friends, a "new job", new energy, and you can see in the mirror a new you ❤❤❤ thats the time when they can come back in your life.. Thats the moment when you can make a clear decision if you want them back. Trust me it can take months, a year.. but when you are there ... and you can face yourself in the mirror with self pride and self respect❤ that is the moment! It is hard 2 let go of your dreams about the other person .. Dont hate them, but feel the love just the love you found back in yourself about who you are! ❤❤❤ Nobody can use you and never ever lower your self esteem! No Contact is not to get your ex back but to heal yourself and make yourself better. IF you are lucky they MIGHT come back. The important thing is to get your self back to a healthy place.

stayed strong for 2 years now .... companies success is about to take off...she wanted to come back 5/6times within the first year I stayed strong as I could not get over the disappointment I was left with... walked away and never went back !

Last night was the final straw for me. He wanted to continue being just friends and talking until he was ready for a relationship again. I waited 5 months. He said he still loves me and cares about me. I told him I was done and i want to go no contact. At first he was like no I want to talk to you still and the he finally said “I guess”. Hi. Its been a week since my girlfriend of 8 months broke up with me. She broke up with me on the plane, returning home from an amazing holiday in Bali. She said she has lost all emotional feelings for me and doesnt think she will feel the same positive way she did in the beginning. Lee is speaking a lot of sense. I went through a break up almost 20 years ago. I found a life coach, Homer Mcdonald , I worked with similar ideas. I didn't contact her, I moved on, I divorced her quickly. I took back the power, did it work for me, Yes, because I dated & found a better love. This would have confused the sh--t out of her. Don't massage her ego make her feel the loss. I haven't had contact, I don't want contact, my choice, not hers.
I only wish I would have started NC sooner. I held on for over a month of having pretty regular texts/phone calls, doing everything I shouldn't have done: telling her I miss her, love her, trying to talk her back into a relationship.... Sigh. It's a week and a half of no contact now. Just hope it's not too late.

What's weird is that Im actually calmer since he broke up with me. The point of contention was that he left his social media pages open so people could read his posts. Thing was the only people who responded were porn people. He said he couldnt help who responded, yet I found that he had befriended them. When I screenshotted some to point this out, thats when he got ticked and broke up with me. He got even angrier when I didnt crawl back. I remained silent from day one. He didnt block me on Facebook, but he did unfriend me. He didnt make his pages private, but I did. The no contact has given me healing time and reflection time. Even though I love the core person, if he cant give up the ancillary behaviors, he wont get my reality. We will see what happens. Ive lived without him before. I can again...
7 years together. 8 months apart. We have a child. I begged for months. I got her back for 2.5 months and she said she can't do this anymore. 3 weeks no contact. Giving her the break up in this case is about to hit her pretty hard as she is about to be ordered to pay me child support starting 6 months in arrears. I have very little hope. She is literally willing to let go of her own child to get out. This same girl begged me not to leave her weeping on the couch and then left me. We both thought we were permanent. Sorry, I'm gonna call bullshit based on my own repeated personal experiences. No contact hasn't worked for my past 3 relationships, even when I stuck to it. First one ended in 2009 and I went no contact. She wound up getting married to someone else. Second one ended in 2013 and I did no contact, and never heard from her again. Third ended in 2019 and again did no contact, and haven't heard from her either. Had a knock your socks off series of three 8 hour dates with an amazing woman in 2021 that seemed very promising; she eventually said she wasn't feeling it and wanted to be friends. I didn't agree to friend zone, said call me if you have a change of heart, and went no contact. Wouldn't you know, no word from her either. So either no contact doesn't really work or I'm one horrible human being that isn't missed, which I sure as hell know I'm not.

I am on day 49 NC & I have realized that I’m starting to feel better even though I miss her but I feel I’m growing. I ignored all but on the last attempt I gave her a chance only to be duped and find out that she was already two months pregnant. I went in No Contact last December. I was hoping that my ex would come back but unfortunately she didn't. But I was happy that i followed Coach Lee's advise and walked away with dignity. I took time to heal and work on myself. I started a very good job and I have just started to meet a very beautifull woman. Honestly my ex was less attractive but I really loved her and I still wish she would come back. But okay she is not here and who says no to a beautifull woman who is sweet and likes you? My ex broke up with me. She still has our pictures on social media, she wants time and space to think about things. Not going to lie I did beg a bit in the first few days. But it’s been 3 days now Full NC. She even stated how much of a good person I am in the “break up” text and said “maybe in the future we can start over”
I’m in a similar situation but I didn’t give her the love and affection she wanted and during arguments I would stop talking to her for a few days. We met up and spoke about things and I could see that she didn’t seem sure about the relationship and when I said after she leaves that’s the last time I’m speaking to her because I need to move on and she started crying. She said I’m a nice guy and I honestly hoped she would message and tell me she made a mistake but I’m still waiting. Today is my day 8 of NC. Just gotta stick at it and if she doesn’t come back then better leaving now than x amount of years further down the line

Probably was talking to him while you were in a relationship with her. This situation usually means move on. I always say why be with someone who left you for someone else. Why want them back? If they come back, how do we know they won't do it again? I think no contact works better if they truly loved us and we broke up because of something miniscule. But if there two premises are too far or nonexistent, the breakup is better. No contact helps with healing.

Just focus on improving as a person, helping people that are in even worse situations and having fun, and soon enough you won't even have mental room to suffer that much.

I still haven’t spoken to my ex since November. He continues to send me messages and calls me regularly. He even called and texted me from someone else’s phone two weeks ago because I blocked him in November. My best friend is so proud of me for finally moving on with my life. I’ve been working on myself for the last 6 months and I feel much better. I have weak moments from time to time, but thanks to Coach Lee’s encouraging videos I’ll be just fine. 🙂

Thanks for this advice. I was hit with the “I need sometime apart”. Similar to what you said she had already prepared her reasoning but by means of speaking to her friends I guess to validate her decision. I said there was no point as I didn’t want to be left in suspense, gathered my stuff and left.
My regret is that by not communicating with her on that day I acted irrationally and that I concluded our relationship due to being so hurt.
I didn’t want my reaction to be a power play to gain control by means of manipulation to take back what she said, I was just hurt to be feeling so rejected after everything we’d been through.

I'm going through a break up right now, one week in. At first I contacted him and did all the things. This is day 3 of no contact for me. We had a great relationship, being an older couple...him 48 and me 55, but he was going through a divorce and we got together about 6 months after his separation. He said he needed his freedom, and we ended things. At first, I wanted to hate him, but he treated me so well, and we really had so many great times.

Hi. Its been a week since my girlfriend of 8 months broke up with me. She broke up with me on the plane, returning home from an amazing holiday in Bali.
She said she has lost all emotional feelings for me and doesnt think she will feel the same positive way she did in the beginning. I have taken full responsibility and have apologise to her many times for causing unnecessary disagreements.
She says, she cant keep on having the same conversation over and over and nothing changes. She also said we are no longer compatible and should go our separate ways.
Iam and have been feeling very low and anxious over the last week. I did message her a few times to try and convince her that we should put this behind us and move on.

I found a life coach, Homer Mcdonald , I worked with similar ideas. I didn't contact her, I moved on, I divorced her quickly.
I took back the power, did it work for me, Yes, because I dated & found a better love. This would have confused the sh--t out of her. Don't massage her ego make her feel the loss. I haven't had contact, I don't want contact, my choice, not hers.

What's weird is that Im actually calmer since he broke up with me. The point of contention was that he left his social media pages open so people could read his posts. Thing was the only people who responded were porn people. He said he couldnt help who responded, yet I found that he had befriended them. When I screenshotted some to point this out, thats when he got ticked and broke up with me. He got even angrier when I didnt crawl back. I remained silent from day one. He didnt block me on Facebook, but he did unfriend me. He didnt make his pages private, but I did. The no contact has given me healing time and reflection time. Even though I love the core person, if he cant give up the ancillary behaviors, he wont get my reality. We will see what happens. Ive lived without him before. I can again...

Sorry, I'm gonna call bullshit based on my own repeated personal experiences. No contact hasn't worked for my past 3 relationships, even when I stuck to it. First one ended in 2009 and I went no contact. She wound up getting married to someone else. Second one ended in 2013 and I did no contact, and never heard from her again. Third ended in 2019 and again did no contact, and haven't heard from her either. Had a knock your socks off series of three 8 hour dates with an amazing woman in 2021 that seemed very promising; she eventually said she wasn't feeling it and wanted to be friends. I didn't agree to friend zone, said call me if you have a change of heart, and went no contact. Wouldn't you know, no word from her either. So either no contact doesn't really work or I'm one horrible human being that isn't missed, which I sure as hell know I'm not.

@@anushkamahraniya1429 It’s crazy that you just commented on this and I happen to have her crossed my mind last night. What happened is she reached out the last four months of 2021 4 times. I ignored all but on the last attempt I gave her a chance only to be duped and find out that she was already two months pregnant. It felt like heartbreak all over again but trust me I’m completely better now. I’m learning some people are very heartless and you just have to go on with your life. Stay confident and let God guide you
I went in No Contact last December. I was hoping that my ex would come back but unfortunately she didn't. But I was happy that i followed Coach Lee's advise and walked away with dignity. I took time to heal and work on myself. I started a very good job and I have just started to meet a very beautifull woman. Honestly my ex was less attractive but I really loved her and I still wish she would come back. But okay she is not here and who says no to a beautifull woman who is sweet and likes you? This is normally the time when the ex re-appears...l am curious to see what is going to happen and how i will react if that happens? To be continued...
My ex broke up with me. She still has our pictures on social media, she wants time and space to think about things. Not going to lie I did beg a bit in the first few days. But it’s been 3 days now Full NC. She even stated how much of a good person I am in the “break up” text and said “maybe in the future we can start over”
I’m in a similar situation but I didn’t give her the love and affection she wanted and during arguments I would stop talking to her for a few days. We met up and spoke about things and I could see that she didn’t seem sure about the relationship and when I said after she leaves that’s the last time I’m speaking to her because I need to move on and she started crying. She said I’m a nice guy and I honestly hoped she would message and tell me she made a mistake but I’m still waiting. Today is my day 8 of NC. Just gotta stick at it and if she doesn’t come back then better leaving now than x amount of years further down the line

She broke up with me because her parents won’t accept. It’s been 3 week since the break up and I’m following no contact. I thought she is also going through the pain as I am. But after 21 days of no contact she posted she is very happy now.
I think I should move on. She isn’t gonna come back.
Didn't know about NC , so i begged and pleaded for 9 days .. he always used to breakup with me and then come back after begging and all . But this time its been 23 days of NC after begging and pleading , and nothing ..
Told me he is seeing someone else but i am not sure if he is telling me the truth ..
Also he has blocked me on all platforms .. he always used to do this after every fight

My situation is different my girl loves me however her 26 year old daughter hates me so after 6 years of dating want to break up with me and just be friends and no contact won’t work because she works with me , I love this person with all my heart
I’m sad not because she will or will not comeback but I’m sad because I miss the person she was and the relationship we used to have. I miss that I can’t take her back anymore even if she wanted to. I feel like it was meant to be more but so many mistakes have been made and decided.

I really wish no contact actually worked, 14 months later, nothing. He married a girl 17 years younger, she just wants his money but he can’t see it. It doesn’t always work.

We were happy for six months. And I am his first girlfriend. He even does not have sex with anyone before me (and he is 29). And I think everything is going well. Until i tell him that I think I am falling in love with him, and ask for his feeling.
Then he becomes super confused and finally break up with me because he think his emotion has stopped developing for me

Probably was talking to him while you were in a relationship with her. This situation usually means move on. I always say why be with someone who left you for someone else. Why want them back? If they come back, how do we know they won't do it again? I think no contact works better if they truly loved us and we broke up because of something miniscule. But if there two premises are too far or nonexistent, the breakup is better. No contact helps with healing.
this exact same process has already happened before with my ex & she unblocked me and came back, and asked me to be her boyfriend. we dated for a month and she just ended things and blocked me again. lol
