Golden Age singing at it's finest. One could not get three singers today to begin to have the skills and impact of these three great opera stars of the middle of the last centry.

Often the bass gets trounced against big-voiced tenors and sopranos, simply because they’re singing so much higher. Especially on recordings, because the mics can’t pick up these low frequencies so much. Not Hines! Sounding huge, vibrant, ringy, easy, and beautiful.
