When I was a child I never understand Opera, but now as a soon to be 43yrs old black US veteran, I now truly find it lovely and beautiful to listen to. I'm also a poet at heart, so Opera is like poetry to my ears and heart. I hope I can find many favorite Opera singers soon and just listen to not only their voice but their soul and heart, before this world I depart.

My mother was an Opera singer I grew up listening to her practice I learned opera by the time I was 13 but my voice was never as good as hers was. This music brings me joy and memories of my mother singing the Arias that I did not know at the time were the most beautiful and dramatic music. I would ever hear.

I have been collecting opera LPs (now in storage) since the 1960's, and I am now rejoicing in hearing my favorite arias by my favorite stars in this magnificent collection, Freni, Mesplé, Caballé, Sills, Kraus, Christoff, Créspin, Ludwig and so many more! Thank you for "restoring" my collection to me!

I wanted to be an opera singer after watching an episode of the Three Stooges. A I was 9 years old. Never had the voice but grew up with classical music and jazz. We are so lucky to enjoy this wonderful compilation.
I used to get annoyed with it when I opened it. Now I'm 12 years old, I'm deeply in love with it. Music surpasses words, now I understand. I love music and opera. I always listen to it every morning.
I know. I fell in love with opera at about age 12. My father used to bring special recordings home. My sister and I were enthralled. We always used to listen to the rock stars of the time, but I guess it was so we weren't perceived as total nerds at the time. But now I guess that is what we became, and happiy.
I’m newly retired and haven’t listened to opera apart from Mario Lanza and Dianna Durbin in my childhood .. I’ve now bought the box sets and vinyls of various arias , totally hooked 😊 I don’t hum current music any more it’s all classical , it’s relaxing and beautiful 🥰

Enserio que no tengo otras palabras que majestuoso, magnífico, e impresionante. El pensar que una persona pueda hacer tal melodía maravillosa con su propia voz es demasiado increíble. Enserio es increíble pensar que un ser humano pueda hacer sonar su voz de tal manera me deja boquiabierta. Amo la ópera, y amaría poder aprender a cantar así pero no conozco algún lugar para hacerlo así que me resigno a canto nornal y tratar de llegar ahí por mi propia cuenta. Enserio completamente admirable cada segundo que he escuchado en esta magnifica obra de arte. Mi mayor anhelo es ser algún día una de estas voces que en este momento tanto admiro con todo mi existir.
