JASON BOURNE changed the whole paradigm for action movies when it came in 2002. The planned James Bond was changed and they paid Pierce Brosnan full salary for not doing his 5th Bond movie. Instead, they released Casino Royal with Daniel Craig, a new concept with action Jason Bourne style. In my opinion, the Bourne series, at their time, was the best action movies.
Not to mention it came out with a kickass soundtrack at the time. The only other action movies, that I can think of right now with soundtracks as good, possibly better, are Top Gun and The Crow.
I thought you might have known Franka Potente, she is a German actress who first became know for a German film 'Lola Rennt' ('Run, Lola Run' in English) in 1998. That would be a good one to react to also.
“I’m not staffed for this.” lol You should definitely do all 5 movies. The Bourne Legacy does not have Matt Damon but stars Jeremy Renner and Rachel Weisz. Both are great and the story is great, too. I think it is my second favorite after this one. I love your reactions, very funny!
Prep yourself for Matt Damon having to say, after being presented with clear evidence in installment after installment, that his identity was still a mystery. Damon said they didnt realize how popular the original movie would be, and that a sequel-s would be produced.
Except it wasn't really clear, to him at least. He had numerous passports, any one of them could be real, or none at all. Even when given his "real" name at the end of the second movie, could he really trust anything the CIA told him after they tried to kill him numerous times?
My favorite franchise when it comes to.this kinda thing. He was being chased by fans he ran into.a bar and hid thats where he met his future wife she was working there Thanks Emma 🎉🎉🇨🇦
Seeing the snow makes me miss being back in Europe. Right now I am in a truck at the Kenya Uganda border heading to Congo my friend it's hot like crazy.
that is a GOOD QUESTION! 🤔 how did they change a "nice" guy into a heartless government assassin? they SORTA answer that question in later movies 😉 REALLY ENJOYED your reaction, thank you! 👍☺
It's an amazing action movie, and very influential in action movies moving somewhat away from the stylized Martial arts fights that tended to dominate the genre for about the previous decade, and also introducing the rarely used idea that the protagonist could get quite badly hurt too. Enjoyed your reaction a lot!
i love the Jason Bourne franchise, even the one with Jeremy Renner who replaced Matt Damon for one movie each installment gets more intense over time, they also lift the vale on how he became a special agent
The scenes in the Embassy @8:54 are standard security lockdown procedures for most sites...when I was in the Navy I was on a security alert team (the guys running around with rifles) and anyone that was not on the team are under orders to stay in whatever space they are in and to secure it (close and lock all doors) until the alert is over. We had orders to shoot anyone that was moving in the passageways or on the main deck once we were on-deck.
Emma, you always remind me of Marie. Your look, somewhat, but also your voice, though you also sound french. I am curious if others have thought this as well.
Hi.🤓 I've seen the whole series, not in the theater, and only have Jason Bourne (2016) in my VUDU library. I do like them all. The action sequences are great, but Matt Damon really sells it. Matt once said he'd only do another Bourne film if Paul Greengrass was on board as director. I do recommend that you see or react to the other films if you to like this one. BTW, Jason Bourne, the most recent one features Alicia Vicander as co-star. Julia Stiles also features. Thanks Emma!! 😎🇺🇲
They are some of the coolest spy movies. What I miss is the major plot from them: the opponent. The books have it. While this is pretty much following some plot points (memory loss, advanced training, etc) the biggest thing missing is his major opponent the assassin. It’s very similar to the character in the Bruce Willis movie the Jackal.
An enjoyable reaction on your part. Glad you enjoyed it. Not many know this, but this movie has very little in common with the original book by Robert Ludlum. The original story is almost completely different except for a few names. The original events take place in the geo-politics of the 1970s. In 2002 when this movie came out, the target audience of the movie would remember little, if anything, about the 1970s. I'm sure that's why they changed the story. The real character of Jason Bourne is more sullen and not the action-oriented characterized by Damon.
😎👍 When you looked surprised to see Matt Damon "So Young" it inspired me to do a search of your channel. I immediately noticed that you're one of the few UA-cam reactors who still hasn't seen "Saving Private Ryan" (1998). That's REALLY going to make an impression on you. Another great Matt Damon film is "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron" (2002). 😉
Fantastic trilogy. The books are even better, but Matt Damon really brought this character to life on the screen. I hope you continue on with your reactions to each movie in this series. The fourth movie, The Bourne Legacy, breaks up the actors a bit. It isn't even Matt Damon, but instead focuses on another man who was victim to another project that was occurring near the same time as what was happening to Jason Bourne. Damon returns in the fifth movie, simply titled Jason Bourne.
There is a meme in Russia about his Russian passport. His last name and first name sound like Ashf LPGTSHFUM. It was like someone fell face down on the keyboard and typed these unpronounceable words. Even in German there is no word with so many consonants in a row, I think. Moreover, no name matches the English one after the slash. It should be КИНИАЕВ / KINIAEV, Фома / Foma.
That's partially true... But not always. I work in Intelligence, UK Security and Counter Terrorism and you would be surprised just how many of my colleagues who are field agents don't wear disguises at all. They are experts at looking plain, can melt into a crowd and you would simply forget to remember what they look like. It's very effective. Of course, some do and the technology for masks is now so very advanced that one of our bosses once attended a briefing in a full mask, even making several comments and although sat just a couple of feet away, I had absolutely no idea that it was her 😳🇬🇧
@@NigelShepherd-z7k Your friends aren't agents working in a hostile foreign country. THOSE are the agents I'm talking about. Our FBI counter terrorism agents aren't trained on disguise either.
Great movie from a great book. Sadly, even while very enjoyable, the movies completely depart from the books after this one. I would have liked them to stick to the books but I guess they get a little bit too surreal.
the movie that destroying camera work for thousands of action movies, making the scenes unwatchable..... and on top of that it was a remake. i hate this movie so much
The whole Jason Bourne series is fantastic!! Can’t wait to see your reactions.
The books are much better, though.
14:22 ''How could I forget about you? You're the only person I know.'' What woman wouldn't fall for this line?

Yeah, Paul Greengrass really shook things up with this. It's a similar sort of paradigm shift that happened with Star Wars.
"Oh I'm so happy to see the happy ending guys" 😂😂😂😂😂

Brilliant film
Run Lola Run was spectacular.
Didn't that movie inspire or the latter ripped off that futuristic flop done by Harrison Ford?
Next, Bourne Supermacy.

Such an interesting movie plot.
You’re gonna love these movies!
She already reacted to them. This is an repost from her old channel that she didn't label as a repost.
@ Ty, I had thought that but wasn’t sure. I watch a lot of different reactors

Shout out to Paul Oakenfold's "Ready Steady Go". Classic
I just love it
i love the Jason Bourne franchise, even the one with Jeremy Renner who replaced Matt Damon for one movie

so difficult to pick a favorite part how he gets out of the embassy is fantastic
Yes, yes... more please! (Only 4 more to go!)
The music in this movie is like FIRE
very fun
Franka Potenta who is Marie use to be a pretty big actress in Germany, I have not followed her recently but she may still be pretty big.
Suggestion:
- Bad boys I and II
- All quiet on the western front
- U.S. Marshals 1998
I'm not a big Moby fan but I've always felt the music really fits.
All the Bourne movies are great. Please watch them in order. ❤️😁

I Love this movie. Grazie beautiful Emma 🌹
I think maybe he is also a hairdresser. That was a nice haircut he gave her.
I always love jason bourn movie, especially the bourn ultimatum, supremacy, n much more
Try the Bourne Legacy, with Rachel Weitz and Jeremy Renner. It's very good!
This is my favorite hitman movie series!! It done so well!! Emma, you look beautiful! 😍😘
wow emma lovve your reaction
🙏🙏🙏✨✨✨😘😘😘😊😊👍🎶
Incredible reaction !! Loved it. Can only hope carry on watching the trilogy and the latest one which came out in 2016 (with Matt Damon)

Happy endings are the best, just like in "Notting Hill"

Maaatt Daaaman,,,,(Team America🇺🇸 Come'n to save the mf'n day Yeah!!!🎶🎶🎶)
I don't like this movie... I'm not an actor...
Great reaction, Emma, this is a great film, the next two sequels are just as good, so is "Jason Bourne" too.

Emma Awesome Video Today!!🔥🐐🐐💎
🙌
Lol you're so cute at the very beginning of your video. Hi Emma...girl you're so beautiful! Hello from Alberta!!
Hello!!
Such a great franchise,,,almost,,Almost as good as 007 lol

The good news is that the action ramps up with each sequel.
The amnesia reset his moral core without affecting his muscle memory.
Anybody else would be classed as paranoid but Bourne isn't wrong so instead he's intuitive ;)
Love yer Moose!!!!!!
Bravo.
The next 2 are good also
It always bugged me how Jason's bosses thought Maria was involved straight away!!
cool
Another excellent and fun reaction! English, German and??? How many languages do your speak? 💪👏👏👏
😊✨✨3
@@Emma_Reactions I would guess English, German, and Dutch.
before there was jack reacher & john wick...

Hi Emma ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi ☺️😊🤩
Hello Emma :)
Oh hi

Hi Emma, 🌴🌞
Search, and watch it (French with Eng sub) : "Видео ASA Love Me If You Dare (2003) a film directed by Yann Samuel" ("Jeux d'enfants"
This is a repost from Emma's old channel.
Scarface 1983 please
I enjoyed the Bourne Identity movie. I thought the second Bourne movie was the best movie of the lot. That's just my personal taste though.
You actually remind me of Marie w your accent
one major error of this movie. Agents are experts at disguise. That eliminates many problems he encounters in this movie.

Love that movie. Thanks for your reaction . Have a good Sunday

@21:15, and @21:30, Hair pulling can change some peoples attitude....
Is this channel not monetized yet? I was gonna send one of those Donation Comments but that "Thanks" button isn't on here...
In the embassy during an emergency, you're supposed to go to your office so you can be cleared and accounted for. Anyone else is suspicious.
The CIA is a very interesting government agency every country has an organization like the CIA.
😘
At 25:40, some girls like bad boys....
Men don't talk , they communicate non-verbal a lot ,
a man who speak too much got some screw loose or is trying to scam
The next film is even better than this imho
You are about to be very upset
the movie that destroying camera work for thousands of action movies, making the scenes unwatchable..... and on top of that it was a remake. i hate this movie so much
