Feeling like it's a bit of a golden age in terms of online guitar teaching. Depending on what you want/like/need, there's so many great teachers ..this guys up there 👌
Dani, this is a spectacularly good lesson that I will revisit and share with my teenage daughter also. I have not seen the 'avoid notes' explained so well. The best basic bitch lesson on UA-cam.
You are a great musician, a great communicator, a great teacher and a great showman. I love your channel that I just discovered. You are the right guitar UA-camr I was looking for. Thank you for all the effort you put on this!
I think that while soloing over the Bb chord the straight major scale with the Eb fourth degree sounds better than the sharp four lydian scale with E. To me the E sounds like an avoid note
So, would the strong/weak measure idea apply regardless of the way the chords are moving? E.g. |1|6m|2m|5| would still be strong-weak-strong-weak? The alternating major/minor thing seems to work here too... unless I'm crazy.
Thanks you for the free content, excellent skilled, formally educated textbook, to the point instructor with nice toys, Tyler, Suhr, a wall of amps, folowers and Patreon gig. Ever play without every rehearsed lick leaning on the whammy and being a Beck clone?
In fact, big respect for your teaching style, zero bs, zero clickbait, zero nonsense, straight to the point. Such rarity these days

This is a phenomenal lesson. The concept of resolving suspensions has opened up improvisational doors for me.
I play quite a lot of pop / rock/ country soloing and those enclosures feel like the missing link between triad/scale way of playing. Thank you !
Great lesson Danni. Your right alot of guitar players have no idea
