I have bought a car thru beforward before. The experience was really simple and fast. No headaches just straight to the point. Awesome to see more in depth of the company.
I also bought from them. Got a Subaru impreza delivered to Ireland back in 2016. I knew nothing about these guys but took a chance. The process was easy, the website gives you the full cost, delivered to your chosen country, upfront. No hidden costs. Car arrived about 3 months later and the condition of the car was as described. Overall, I'd say they are good to deal with and I would go through them if purchasing another. I will say though, it looks like the cost of shipping has about doubled since 2016. I think my shipping cost was about 1200e but now it would be well over 2000e.
@@anthonycoe1238 I imagine shipping can vary from where you live. For me I live in the Caribbean and its was around 2500USD. They will provide you with a final price once you know what car you want and talk to a agent. Then you just wire the money and a few days later they will send you all the paperwork of which boat the car will be on etc.
I personally really love the F body, it’d have to be my favorite, probably because it’s my second car, first car is a 7L V8 swapped from a Camaro z28 ss, fully rebuilt, cams, headers, etc, put it on the dyno and i was surprised it was making 1249hp to the rear wheels
I am from Greece and let me tell you something. THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST. I was looking at there website and they are one of the few Japanese companies that transfer cars directly to Greece. Big respect for these guys. 💯👌🏻💯
Thank you so much Sammit! I've been trying to find a place like Be Forward for a long time and this was a really good advertisement for them! It's been really cool to see your content change up a bit and watch you grow man. Keep it up!
I've been Be forward user for a long time, and i was waiting for some UA-camr or user who could tell me they are a nice ppl to work with, just bcause its hard to trust websites from that far away. I'm from spain and i've always wanted to import a jdm car, and now i see the opportunity to do it. Thx Sam!!! Thx a lot!!!
Not only is the sheer size of the auction lot amazing, their HQ in ropongi absolutely blew me away Glad to see more behind the scenes content like this, keep it up
Thanks man, for that video, i often catch myself looking through the website of beforward but i was always to scared to honestly look into buying a car there since it´s such a remote concept of buying cars,. You made me feel like the company is not trying to scam their customers, but actually provides a great service. :)
Coincidentally I'm literally just on the beforward website. I literally like always visit the website just to look at cars and prices and to be honest they over the greatest prices and services. On a scale of 1 to 10, it's 10000 out of 10, amazing.... And thanks to Sam for taking us on a tour, I love this kind of videos 👍🔥🔥🔥
Awesome to see an in depth about what sounds to be a repeatable car exporter company and what they offer and some of the cars they are shipping so us over sea got someone we can trust to import cars from Japan.
Pretty sure Jeep licenced Mitsubishi to produce their version of the wrangler. With the rotaries, it's fairly simple. The oldest rx7s and the older generation of the Rx had 12a. Later they had a variety of 13b setups, including the rx8 with its 4/6 port MSP. The Cosmo was offered with a 13b re, similar to the rew in the famous FD3S. Also offered is the legendary 20b 3 rotor. The only 4 rotor produced by Mazda was in the race cars, such as the 787b.
Absolutely Love the Cyberpunk Background music, even having it playing subtle in the background makes me like watching your vids more, just like a movie with some background music. I think you should do more.
Konichiwa Sam. Thanks for the upload. It will help people not to get ripped off. So glad I have a Grey import Nissan Skyline r33. Awesome office, wow✌️ Jamming and Sugoi 🇦🇺💋
I love everything you do and I enjoy the drifting content but when you say things like “I need to get more into time attack stuff” or anything grip related I get excited for you to start. There are a lot of content creators making Japanese content on drifting and car culture but there isn’t much on the grip racing side and I think it’s a really good market you could corner
What in particular are you looking for, as far as the grip, stuff? I have a couple vids on my channel featuring grip...I'm curious of the content people would like to see....tia!
I've known about beforward for a few years, but just dove into them this year, have my 2nd this year coming now, just waiting for a boat allocation. First one showed as reported by their check sheets, just hoping the new ride is as clean as stated in their report 😎
Hey Sam the Eunos Cosmo came with a 13b or a 20b. I think there was under ten thousand made altogether and it was about half and half 13b and 20b. So theres only about 5000 original 20b cosmo’s. Love the channel.
To answer the question about the Mitsubishi Jeep. Jeep used to be called Willy's and the Jeep they made for civilian use in 1953 was the CJ-3. Willy's gave Mitsubishi permission to produce the CJ-3 for the Japanese market which Mitsubishi produced up until 1998 when they announced that they'd no longer be offering their version of the CJ-3 which by the 90s in Japan was called the J-series Jeep but wasn't related to the J-series trim package offered here in the states. Mitsubishi actually produced and manufactured their Jeep instead of buying a bunch from the states and converting them for Japanese roads. It was ended by Mitsubishi in 98 due to a change in emissions in Japan, plus Mitsubishi has the Pejero, Jimney and other SUVs of their own so letting go of the Jeep wasn't a huge loss.
8:24 thats a Mitsubishi Jeep (J-series) a licensed built CJ-3B (more or less) basically built for the Japanese GSDF etc, although it does appear that they were sold at a retail chain called 'Galant Shop' (from Wiki) 9:23 A few months ago I was walking through a car-yard in Australia, and undercover (and covered in a lot of dust) was a Cosmo in metallic green (It wasn't for sale) things you see and think wtf? the owner wasn't going to restore it, just wait until he retired and sell it (cash for his retirement fund)
Great video Sam. Maybe for a continuation for a future video is showing what is involved in buying a car in Japan from "Shaken" to "Shako Shomeisho" and whatever else-at least how you go about to do it. Cheers
I don't know for sure, but it makes sense to me for Mitsubishi to have their own "Jeep". I don't remember exactly when Jeep was acquired by Chrysler, but Chrysler corp & Mitsubishi did collab for awhile during the 80s/90s. Lol, "Corvette"... it's a 4th gen Camaro.
I would have to say by looking at there website and their vehicles sales prices this is probably the more expensive option of buying a vehicle, then buying directly from auction in Japan.
no it wasn't... thats so far off the truth. the mitsubishi jeeps are basically a cj3b built under license from Willys and later Jeep and were produced from like the mid 50's to the mid 90's but not in ww2. Only ford and willys produced jeeps (the GPW and MB respectively) for ww2
Funny in the beginning how he asked the guy to tell him about his company but didn’t really give him much time or chance to talk. Haha. He rather led the entire conversation by himself.
I'm glad to hear you mention my country Uganda 🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬🥰. Unfortunately in Uganda nowadays the government no longer accepts 15yrs old cars. It's only cars from 2008 and above nowadays!
Ay Beforward , one if my favourite websites to browse :) sick storage facility , only problem with Beforward I notice is that prices can be pretty high
Yeah Be forward is awsome , I ordered like 4/5 cars from them , i’m from Aruba ,where i live you can inport any year RHD and one of them was a Toyota Cynos with the same Emboidary seat covers! 😅
I did go look at the website and have decided that you have to explain to my wife why I need the 2001 Chevy blazer. I have a left hand drive one and now I have to have both a right and left steer in my life. 😂 if only I had the money!
Importing a car from Japan is sooooo much easier these days. Easy as clicking a few button on the screen. When I first imported from Japan back in '06, it was a bit of a nightmare.

I’ve heard multiple people call it a scam. I guess maybe it depends on the car
