Great video Flint , when I first started learning boogie I couldn`t find anything on RH chord rhythms , now here is a great starter.There is always something to take away from your playing , Happy New Year !
Simon, I appreciate your kind comment. I think this rhythm system might help newcomers a little more than simply presenting a bunch of licks, although the licks are definitely important. I'll post another one pretty soon.
That's the key playing the chords on the off beats (the &'s) A little slow at first. Hopefully I can speed it up with practice. Thanks & Happy New Year
Hi Rick! A teacher once told me, the way to achieve speed is not to force it, but to strive for precision and clarity at slow tempos. That didn't seem to make sense to me, but later, when I realized that my hand and mind were getting ever more comfortable at slower speeds, they seemed to naturally gravitate toward increased speed without me worrying too much about it very much.
