- A great song from Elton John's third studio album Tumbleweed Connection - the country-rock style album was a huge success. Burn Down The Mision, which comes from it, is a regular feature of Elton's concerts to this day.
Very cool version of a very cool obscure EJ song. The 1982 tour had an awesome setlist.
I saw Elton on this 1982 tour in Toronto. This was one of my favorite songs of the night. It sounds much better than the studio version with much added electric guitar. I was surprised that the last two songs he played that night were Beatle songs, I Saw Her Standing There and Twist and Shout.
Damn! This version kicks ass!
Oh yeah! Best version this great song IMO!
EJ, Mr. Olsen, Mr. Murray (RIP), & Mr. Johnstone performed this album gem in 82 a couple weeks before my mother passed. Great sounding audio- thanks for posting this!
Oh yeah! This is relay wonderful concert as well as the whole Tour and set list from 1982. For me Jump Up is one of the best albums in the very rich discography of Elton ;)
TUMBLEWEED CONNECTION,what a LP, this song is The Best , BERNIE and ELTON, GREATS.
