Nice video! There is a lack of content on UA-cam about this camera for photography (everybody seems to talk only about video). Thanks! And that was a great lesson abou family photos. If you dont mind, I was curious about the seetings - especially the shutter speed for the photos that the familiy walks towards you, appreciate if you could share those. Thanks again and success for the channel! Subscribed
Thanks! Yes, I agree there are barely any videos on s5ii photography. Not many Panasonic photographers out there it seems! I always keep my shutter speed at 1/160 or higher. Sometimes I will stop down my aperture if I know I'm doing something with a lot of movement! Wedding s5ii bts coming soon!
You got the posing quickly and efficiently down to perfection my guy! I always plan to operate like that until I get on location…then I go completely blank 😅 at least for for the beginning of sessions. Great content man! Never stop!
Man! You look so young and seems to be very experienced in photography in the way you directed the family. Very confident and knowing what image you want Are the Panasonic L Mount good for photography? I mean, at Canon or Nikon level for the same price? Nikon is lacking in the mid level cameras, and Canon have some drawbacks. The S5II could be better overall for the same price. L-Mount is expanding and now Samyang join the L-Mount so in a near future there will be Samyang lenses, plus the Sigma lenses and Panasonic ones. My concern are the colors, skins looks magenta or reddish in some reviews.,
If you are about 10 feet back from your subjects and keep them on the same plane, you can have them all in focus even at f1.4. If I'm worried about people moving or shooting a larger group of people and can't keep them in one line, then it's time to stop down. Usually f4 gets you a large enough focal plane.
What a great family session! Beautiful images and a beautiful family.
Thank you so much!
Awesome video, love the way you direct the family! Hopefully an updated S1R is around the corner.
Thanks so much! Hoping they release one soon!
