lol, "obviously this person's mate chose these for him." I thought the turquoise grips suited the bike quite nicely! Really sets it off from the others, hehe. Nice video. Too bad I didn't have a can of spray paint when I was installing my grips last night. I used copious amounts of alcohol (on the grips, not on myself), but that job was super difficult. I got some nasty blisters on my hands from working the grips onto the bars.
Thanks for showing the on side I came to see haha come dude the throttle side is different in how it’s to be installed shit video because of you not showing the throttle side
I agree with you. Seems dumb to me. But perhaps this is a bike that will br raced. I know the racing organizations wire every nut to it's associated bolt. But on a street bike? If the glue works why would you need a piece of wire there to tear up your hand? And as tight as he's twisting the wire it is very likely to cut the soft grips.

Compressed air works best to remove the grips.
NOPE
What brand and make/size is the wire your using? I have a terrible time with the wire breaking before it even gets snug around the grips. Thank you.
How come no one uses an air compressor and nozzle to blow air under the grips to slide them off? Works every time for me on BMX and motorcycles.
If he spray painted my bars I would be pissed off ahah
I use clear spray paint. Never an issue with overspray
What about the throttle side😂
I don't like this method
What do you do differently

Why in the fuck would you wire grips 🤣🤣
All racing bikes using wire to make the grip stays at position.
@@OracleDavis I suppose but I e never had an issue with just glue and I've never seen wire on ANY bike EVER
@@SongsforSpace proper tool for the job.
